A large hotel across the road from Midi station. The rooms are fairly basic as expected but comfortable enough, though looking a little tired in places. There's a safe, tea/coffee facilities and a small bottle of water provided daily. Decent shower. My room was on the 5th floor but not well insulated from outside noise. All-in-all this is a perfectly fine budget hotel but nothing really stands out.
I stayed here as I had an early morning train from Gare du Midi and the entrance is right opposite the station. Finding the entrace though was a little tricky, it was dark when I arrived and there wasn't an illuminated sign showing where the entrance was. Check in was nice and quick, unfortunately the automated machine didn't work when I tried to check in. It also didn't work when I tried to check out. The room was ok, clean but quite sparse and basic. The pillows were not great, there was just 2 very small square pillows. The bathroom was fine, the shower was nice and powerful. I can't comment on the breakfast.
We recently stayed at this hotel twice, going out and coming back from a holiday in Bavaria. Just overnight stays. The hotel is right next to the railway station but the trains did not keep us awake. Nice large room, clean with comfy beds. Good to find toilet separate from the bathroom. Lovely big shower cubicle. Check in good, food good.
The Park Inn is located right next to the main station and is very easily accessible from either the airport or different towns, it is located at one end of town so a brief walk takes you into town the hotel itself is manned by some very friendly staff ready to assist. The hotel has a very good breakfast, the rooms are clean and well maintained, they are well designed a little tight but comfortable great for a business visit.
The hotel was very nice for a business trip. Rooms are basic, but you had everything you can want. Location was excellent, since it is opposite the central station and has connections to all kinds of transport. I recommend the breakfast - high quality products and large variety.
A fancy coloured reception/bar/restaurant. Room was okay, bed was okay, I really hate to have a shower in a bath. Service could be better, not always very sharp to satisfied the customers at the bar side. Enough parking places in a secured garage. Breakfast was okay.
I visit Brussels for work on a fairly regular basis and have found the hotels generally tired, over-priced, poor value and disappointing. This last trip I stayed here though and was super impressed. Lovely and bright big room, nice and quiet, fast and stable wifi, great breakfast, fab location literally across the road from Midi and the Metro - exit for Av Fonsny or Rue d'Angelterre. I was really impressed and that is a first for Brussels. Super staff. From check in to out they were all smiles and couldn't do enough to help. Really happy to recommend this place for that alone; after a long day it makes such a difference. Special mention for the "Hungry Kiosk" next to reception, I arrived late in the evening, wasn't hugely hungry and didn't really fancy the restaurant offerings, but I was able to buy a big bowl of greek salad to take back to my room for 5euro. Perfect. Will definitely stay here next time I'm in town.
I stay in Brussels pretty regularly and like to be near to the metro and station, this hotel fits the bill perfectly. Be aware it isn’t the best of areas but safe enough by Brussels standards. Check in is always efficient with friendly staff. Rooms are modern and comfy, only gripe is shower could be a bit more powerful for me. Breakfast is very good and has great choices from hot to healthy. It’s near enough to walk to 3 great restaurants as well. Will return
For us this hotel was perfect as it was close to the train station so made our one night in Brussels so easy. We managed to check in easily to then leave our bags and go and explore Brussels. Staff were friendly, and there is a small gym with some CV machines, some weights (only go up to 10kg) and a multi-gym machine. Rooms were clean and modern with good shower facilities. Cannot think of any faults. We didn’t try the food or breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that.
Mediocre experience here. Nothing really bad, nothing really good. Good value for its money. Staff not very fiendly, breakfast good. Location is good, easy accessibly from all sides of Brussels and good to visit city centre.
