The hotel is conveniently situated opposite the South Station. Staff is very helpful on how to get around the city and they speak English. Smelly carpet in the corridors is a turn off but the rooms have all the basics you need for a short stay. For someone not familiar with Europe like me, this hotel was a very good choice.
If you are visiting the university town of Leuven, this hotel is well placed -- right next to the train station (take the elevator to the tracks, walk towards Platform 9 and you will see it about 100 meters in front of you on the left). You can walk to any place from there. It is modern, with an excellent breakfast buffet, and welcoming, intelligent staff. My only complaint is the lighting in the room. This is a "green" hotel, saving energy. It is fine to have high efficiency lighting, but it is not acceptable to have stark, super-bright lights overhead. (If you get up to use the toilet in the night, you will be blinded). It was awful trying to put make-up in the morning (I gave up and finally stood by the window). It would be so easy to put a shaving-makeup mirror with dedicated lighting by the sink.
Stayed here 2 nights, hotel very clean and safe. Staff very helpful and polite. Breakfast is at your leisure, very interesting range of food on offer. There is a very good menu in the restaurant will eat here on my next visit !e
The best part about this place is breakfast: plenty of hot options such as scrambled/boiled eggs, pancakes, bacon, etc, plus bread, cereal and pastries. You could stay for a few weeks and try something different everyday. The location is also fantastic for travelling and metro, right in front of Brussels Midi. However, there was no fridge in the (standard) room, only one "fridge" in the main floor where you can buy (but not store) things, which makes things very difficult if you buy food or drinks from elsewhere and have nowhere to keep it. Also, our "double" bed was really two beds pushed together. The room was good, but it looks much better and newer on the pictures than in reality. Still, the hotel is clean and the room was big and comfortable.
Great location next to the train station an metro. Nice modern hotel decoration and very nice lobby bar. Super breakfast... even something for gluten-free people, fruit smoothies and a lots of 'healthy' items. WiFi worked well. Staff great.
this friendly hotel right across from the train is just what you are looking for for a good nights slieep. Alice is the friendliest staff person. Rooms are very very large,. Snacks are for sale in the lobby. Lots of room to spread out and relax- it was a woinderful respite during an exhausting trrip
Inexperienced and inefficient staff at the reception. Had to repeat the same thing every single day. Rooms are neat and clean but doesn't have a wardrobe. It is needed especially when a person is staying for 3 weeks.
Staffs very accommodating. Great for family holiday. Breakfast was good during our stay. I was very happy the cleanliness of the hotel. Accessible to all means of transportation. To sum it up I am very impressed as well as my family and friends.
I had the pleasure of being served by in my opinion one of the nicest and friendliest customer service rep I have ever met on 28/10/17 at the front receptionist desk of your hotel. Her name was Mouna, and she helped me with my request with the friendliest and helpful manner. Mounda seemed to be genuinely passionate about customer service, which is very refreshing to see. Keep up the great work! Also, great location directly opposite Midi train station, and the rooms are very suave and modern,
The hotel is opposite the train station and a major metro station which makes it a convenient place if you travel by Thalys or Eurostar. I stayed in another hotel close the station a few months ago and that part of the neighbourhood didn't feel very safe at night. However, the area around the Park Inn felt perfectly fine to me. Check-in went relatively smooth although the check-in machine got stuck in the middle of the process. Luckily, one of the friendly ladies at the desk immediately stept in. The room was spacious, modern and clean. Breakfast in the morning had a reasonable variety and the breakfast room felt cosy. Next time when I travel to Brussels by train, I will definitely consider staying at the Park Inn again.
