Embassy Suites Brunswick

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Hotel is in close proximity to shopping and restaurants, as well as one of the main roads leading to St. Simons and other beach locations. The complementary breakfast offered no shortage of selections. There is also a chef who will cook to order your breakfast, if desired. The staff was very friendly, and went out of their way to make sure your stay was stress-free.

I love to stay at Embassy Suites when I come to town to visit my family. It's very close to where they live and it's in the middle of everything. Plus, you can make it to the causeway in about 5 minutes. The free breakfast and afternoon snack is wonderful. The fact that it's attached to the mall is a plus. You can also order room service from Ruby Tuesday. That's pretty neat. The only think I feel they can improve upon is the customer service at the front desk. The girls working the last couple of trips weren't extremely friendly. But, I didn't have to deal with them much. The rooms are very nice, too. I do think they could come down on the cost of the rooms, too. Especially since it's so far from the islands.

Hotel was great. Would recommend to anyone. Staff, breakfast and nightly reception were great.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while visiting St. Simons and Jekyll islands. Great value compared to hotels in the islands, awesome full breakfast. Huge lobby and we loved happy hour cocktails. Very nice and friendly staff, rooms were clean and made daily. Great experience overall!!

We stayed over here on our trip to St.Simons and Jekyll. Good location, clean rooms, helpful staff. Little pricy compared to other hotels in the area, but you can't beat their made to order breakfast and reception with free drinks !!

Stopped in at 740 pm managers reception ended at 730 pm the guy at the bar gladly opened back up to serve me and my family. Breakfast crew was great...front desk people were nice...room was clean and comfy. No issues at all

Attached to local mall and movie theatrre...a bit dated but worth the stay

Very nice staff, quiet and clean.. free breakfast was wonderful. Im committed.

Nice location, nice facility, great rooms and comfortable.

great getaway..wonderful breakfasrs...great cocktail parties w/ oportunity to interact w/ other guests...very enjoyable

Helpful from the desk - cocktails and with munchies to enjoyed. The breakfast is just what a traveler needs.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The remodel was nice too, simple and elegant. We did experience something odd; my wife and I were waiting for our omelet to be cook when I turned and gave her a peck. The female cook then stated we should do that since we could spread germs to our omelets. She gave us this whole spill about how talking and kisses contaminate food. The irony being she was talking the entire time advising us of our germ sharing habits.

The staff was very warm, helpful and friendly. The hotel was adjacent to the Mall which was very convenient. The lobby was under contsruction so we couldn't tell how it should have been. We knew that prior to going so it was expected. The price was great for all the amenities. We have stayed at Embassy Suites before and will plan to stay again.

Excellent service. Cheap price. Good location. Everything was great. We would absolutely stay there again!

We always stay at an Embassy Suite. We chose this to be located between Jacksonville and Savannah. We were disappointed with the construction going on and we did not use the pool as planned due to the work being done on the floor in that area. We did stroll through the mall and found some things of interest there but there were no movies during the day and the mall was very empty and depressing. The room was just OK and was not as nice as other rooms we have enjoyed while staying at this chain of hotels. The breakfast and happy hour were as always wonderful.

check in was horrible, people standing behind the desk doing nothing while ten people are ready to check in

Room furniture was very nice. Breakfast was good as well.

Had a great time.....but a bit pricey

Great hotel, room was very clean, bed very comfortable. Will stay again and again.

The Embassy Suites is located in the mall of Brunswick, GA. The hotel is undergoing some type of renovation but the room we stayed in was very dated. The carpet was gross and the furniture was showed its age along with stains. The room was big with a refrigerator and microwave but the bathroom was small and old. The bedding was in very good condition and very clean, so at least we slept good. The location isn't the greatest but there is a Wal-Mart and many other stores located within walking and driving distance. Probably wouldn't stay there again unless I knew the hotel had been completely updated and cleaned.
