Staff Amber, Tamika and Joyce were extremely helpful and pleasant to be around. Location was convenient with a nearby supermarket and some restaurants. Good pillows and regular housekeeping. Owners live upstairs and try to keep everything comfortable for the customers.
We recently went on our Babymoon to Jekyll Island. It was a sudden decision and any hotels on the island were either sold out or extremely expensive. We looked around and found Econo Lodge to be just about 6 miles from the island and it was right on the exit. The location is very convenient and has eating joints like Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, Subway, Waffle House and Baskin Robbins. The hotel itself is quite decent with a convenient breakfast included. The staff was very warm and welcoming and we had a pleasant stay.
We stayed at the echo lodge on our way from home to Florida. It was exactly what we needed. Easy access from 95, Clean room, large flat screen tv. Fridge and microwave. This hotel has some wear on it but everything was clean and comfortable so for our needs it was perfect.
Stayed 4 nights.first 2 nights okay except for mildew on shower curtain and air conditioner. We disinfected those ourselves.Day 3 we left room with do no disturb sign on door, returned several hours later to find that my luggage had been gone through and my tablet missing which was in my luggage.Management claims that none of her staff entered the room.Surely my tablet did not disappear on its own.None of the staff that I spoke to seemed concerned about the issue.Be aware if you stay check the degree of cleanliness, anything crawling and please by no means leave any valuables in the room unattended.
Stayed at this property on my way to Asheville, NC. The property is very clean and convenient and the room was immaculate. The front desk staff was very attentive and polite. Great stay if you're traveling the interstate 95.
It's the perfect location, just of I-95. The staff was friendly; the room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast in the morning is very limited, and there are not enough tables/seats for everyone. We had to take our food back to our room. But for the price it's a good night's stay.
A comfortable & clean surprise. Everything from bathroom to carpeted floor was clean. Staff exceptional & knowledgable of a great place to eat nearby. Other guest polite. Safe place to stay. Only stayed 1 night would spend more at this econo lodge
Generally leery of staying at Econo Lodge but this one is well maintained. It's the perfect location, just of I-95. The staff is always friendly, the rooms are always clean and comfortable, and there a lot of restaurants close by for evening meals. The continental breakfast in the morning, is very limited, and I do wish they would put coffee pots back in the room, even it it's just the single cup maker. But it's a good night's stay for the price. Would definitely stay again.
This hotel was cost effective, clean, and quiet. I was so surprised by the updates and cleanliness. The breakfast is very simple but will suffice if you do not mind waffles and pastries. We had to be on the road early so breakfast was not a concern. Check in was simple and everyone was very helpful.
We stopped here on our way to Florida. I am always skeptical about the Econolodge brand because it's so hit & miss. This one is a great inexpensive hotel. Our room had been updated, so everything looked basically new. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Many hotels who remodel often ignore removing the old tub, making the tub look incredibly awful. This hotel did it right, replacing the old tub with a new one! We didn't eat breakfast, but they did have the usual continental stuff, along with a waffle maker. The price we paid was great. The other person who said it was "too pricey" must typically stay in the "no-tell, motel" because we had a great rate for a great newly remodeled room. I would definitely stay here again.
