Stayed at this property on my way to Asheville, NC. The property is very clean and convenient and the room was immaculate. The front desk staff was very attentive and polite. Great stay if you're traveling the interstate 95.
It's the perfect location, just of I-95. The staff was friendly; the room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast in the morning is very limited, and there are not enough tables/seats for everyone. We had to take our food back to our room. But for the price it's a good night's stay.
A comfortable & clean surprise. Everything from bathroom to carpeted floor was clean. Staff exceptional & knowledgable of a great place to eat nearby. Other guest polite. Safe place to stay. Only stayed 1 night would spend more at this econo lodge
Generally leery of staying at Econo Lodge but this one is well maintained. It's the perfect location, just of I-95. The staff is always friendly, the rooms are always clean and comfortable, and there a lot of restaurants close by for evening meals. The continental breakfast in the morning, is very limited, and I do wish they would put coffee pots back in the room, even it it's just the single cup maker. But it's a good night's stay for the price. Would definitely stay again.
This hotel was cost effective, clean, and quiet. I was so surprised by the updates and cleanliness. The breakfast is very simple but will suffice if you do not mind waffles and pastries. We had to be on the road early so breakfast was not a concern. Check in was simple and everyone was very helpful.
We stopped here on our way to Florida. I am always skeptical about the Econolodge brand because it's so hit & miss. This one is a great inexpensive hotel. Our room had been updated, so everything looked basically new. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Many hotels who remodel often ignore removing the old tub, making the tub look incredibly awful. This hotel did it right, replacing the old tub with a new one! We didn't eat breakfast, but they did have the usual continental stuff, along with a waffle maker. The price we paid was great. The other person who said it was "too pricey" must typically stay in the "no-tell, motel" because we had a great rate for a great newly remodeled room. I would definitely stay here again.
The property was clean, quiet and comfortable and is of great value. The common areas appear as if they have recently received updates, and the rooms were being updated as well. Our room had a comfortable bed and plenty of towels. There is a small continental breakfast that should meet most needs, but if not there are plenty of restaurants and a grocery near the hotel to supplement.
Not a fancy hotel but a great value for the price. Rooms were nice and clean. Hotel overall was also nice, safe and clean. Breakfast was good but the breakfast area was a little on the small side. Didn't have any meat, but they did have the waffles which are my favorite item at these breakfasts.
The staff was very nice, the room was okay, breakfast was okay, the shower had no water pressure, the tile floor was sticky. The room was overpriced in our view, and we travel a good bit. We also found out there is pretty much nothing to do in Brunswick. We went bowling and to the Sara Ross waterfront (save yourself the effort).
We picked this while on the road...just looking for an inexpensive place for the night...no frills needed. This hotel is basic, but very clean and the staff is very pleasant. Nice little touches in the rooms like fancy folded towels ... not used to seeing that in an economy hotel! Very clean and comfortable beds and clean bathroom. Well worth the cost. They are working through updating the rooms...Ours had new lamps and apparently they are putting in new drapes as well. I assume when finished, they will touch up the paint (old lamps were wall mounted, so there are blank spots where they used to be). We didn't have breakfast there but it looks like the typical small continental buffet. Since there are several restaurants right around, though, it wasn't something we were looking for. Note that there are 2 floors but no elevator. If you can't do stairs, you should probably call to confirm main floor. It's a small place, so don't assume you will get what you want upon arrival. For the price paid, they are exactly as ordered. A comfortable, clean room for the night. I rate based on the category of hotel...and this is 5 stars for a budget hotel!
