We were not advised of a major renovation of the reception area which was under our room. Thus is something Orbitz should have known. We otherwise would not have chosen this hotel. It may be much better in the future, but it spoiled an otherwise scenic location on a Burges canal. Maybe a good choice in the future but there are better places to choose, at least till construction is completed later this spring.

Hotel staff was very helpful. I booked wrong date, he worked with me to find another room and also bring in needed extra bedding within half an hour, which made my traveling less stressful.

Perfect location, super cute place. Really quite magical. I would recommend everyone have an experience like we did staying at this hotel.

Great location strong wifi everywhere in the hotel and room great breakfast choices helpful staff bathroom is tiny but they provide face towel, hand towel, bath towel and toiletries. Blow dryer, fan, extra pillows and blankets available. English Channel is available, plugs/ outlets in good location in the room water kettle, coffee, tea provided. Our most favorite hotel all week. Best value for money. Cab from train station to hotel is €8. Let the front desk know in advance if you need a cab to the train station when you check out. They will call cab for you. There is a 5 city tax that has to be paid in cash directly at the hotel upon check out. I recommend it strongly! I will be back for sure. Thank you Johanes and staff!

The hotel is situated on the canal and a easy walk to everything in the core of the old city. Canal boats can get loud but they only ran between 9am - 7pm or so. The room was adequate and no complaints. Pleased there was decent wifi in the room. Its a great little city for 3-4 days. The terrace restaurant overlooking the canal at the hotel served great meals. Otherwise highly recommend Benvenuto Italian restaurant just off the Market square - excellent carbonara. Also really enjoyed Maria Von Bourgonde at Mariastraat a couple blocks away which was pricier but had better service than most and great food. If visiting Bruges in the summer know that most shops close 6pm and restaurants at 10pm and it doesn't get dark until 10;45pm. The city is quiet on Mondays and ramps up in activity towards the weekend. Its a great old European city where we never heard one police siren in 6 days we were there; unlike Paris, Rome, etc. which gets old in the middle of the night. Really liked our time there.

Couldn't have been better. Was with my mom and the location was ideal. It's 3 buildings that used to be a brewery but now as one hotel. It's a major tourist attraction, but it doesn't interfere with your privacy and you get the best view in Brugge. The best location for all amenities, shopping, tours, restaurants, attractions all within walking distance. The hotel is simple and fully redone yet but the most important things, the bathrooms and beds are super. The breakfast included is also great; fresh and will stocked and you have that amazing view from the breakfast room. It couldn't get better without increasing the price substantially.

Room was clean, service was excellent, location was amazing. Look no further if you want an affordable place to stay in the heart of bruges. Solid 3 star European hotel.
