Wonderful experience! We loved the location relative to things to do and restaurants. It’s surrounded by trees and hills and plenty of wildlife roaming around which was beautiful to watch. The home is beautiful, clean, and stocked with more than we needed. Host communication was amazing. Check in and out process was easy. We would definitely stay here again, just longer next time.

Cabin is beautiful and was perfect for three adults. I think it might be a bit small for more than 3 people. But, it was exactly what we needed for us! Would recommend.

Awesome Stay

The cabin was awesome and perfect for our stay. We had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and everything was in great condition. We would definitely book this cabin again. Our host was also easy to communicate with.

No Hot Water

Cabin & area was beautiful but no hot water during our 4 day 3 night stay. We reset the hot water tank & had hot water for a couple hours but that was it. Someone came to check it out & said it was the propane tank regulator & we were told nothing could be done until Mon, the day we left. Cold showers & had to boil water to wash dishes by hand. 2 in our party went home a day early due to no hot water for showers. The other 3 stayed & left by 8am Mon to go home & shower. Zero compensation. Would not recommend this cabin/company because they don’t seem to care about your experience if there is a problem.

Enjoyed- but mold

My family and I stayed at American Grit recently. It was my parents, my brother, my husband and my two children. Upon arrival the cabin was very clean and looked just like the pictures. However, the ceiling in the living room was covered in mold. My daughter (2 years old) was the first to get sick. She was very congested, coughing and covered in a rash. Then my brother and husband both developed migraines along with my dad. We are certain it was the mold, because everyone felt better when we were not at the cabin for any length of time. I hate to leave a bad review, but I also want others to know before booking. I have no doubt that it will be cleaned and taken care of properly.

Outstanding cabin very clean and quite. The gravel road to the property was terrible, we had motorcycles and had to trailer them pavrment because the road was so washed out.

Great family getaway

Spent 4 days here with the family. House was great, no issues and as advertised! Would definitely come back. Kids and adults enjoyed it. One note; the road to this house isnt great. Passable by car, but SUV/pickup is a much better choice.

Great weekend getaway

My wife and i stayed here with two other couples. Cabin was very nice and spacious, each couple had their own king bedroom and bathroom. Location was nice and close to all the things we like to do in the area.

Comfortable and Enjoyable

We (5 adults) stayed at American Grit over the Thanksgiving holiday in 2023. The cabin was beautiful and welcoming, the hot tub was wonderful after a long hike, the shower was lovely and the bed was comfortable. We were far enough away from the noise of the street, but close enough to enjoy Beaver's Bend State Park during the day and the night life at night. I very much recommend American Grit!

Cozy cottage

Very clean! Super easy check-in/checkout process; plenty of towels in the bathrooms and utensils/kitchen ware in the kitchen. Each bedroom has its own large bathroom. Located in a quiet, family (and pet) friendly neighborhood. The road to the cabin was a little rough for a short distance, so I wouldn’t recommend a car. A truck or suv would be better to get around in, especially on the gravel roads around the lake. I highly recommend this property and definitely want to return.

We loved the time away. We loved the look of the cabin inside and out. Was definitely large enough

We loved that it had big full tubs, showers, vanities in bottom bathrooms. We enjoyed hot tub and fire pit. Also the fireplace outside was amazing. Beds were comfortable. Place was completely stocked with everything anyone could possibly need. We had a great time. I would like to say a few things I noticed. The first being the roads. If you have a little car, you will bottom out and could mess up the vehicle. They are extremely bad going to the property. We drive a huge truck and had to put in 4 wheel drive due to pot holes and such. Also, Dryer took a bit to dry even when just our suits were in it. Oven was on 405 and I could still touch potatoes with bare hands ( not very hot) Weather stripping coming off at back door Terrible stain on one of the pillows Coffee table top missing all screws One chair was broke at the fire it area Just wanting to make aware of these items. Thank you

Overall pretty good

Overall, we had a pretty good stay. The hot tub, fire pit, and games were really nice. Having three bedrooms and bathrooms was amazing for the 6 of us, and the living room & kitchen were very well equipped. I will say, make sure to bring a truck or SUV, as the roads around the cabin are very beaten up. We did have one issue- For the majority of our trip (48 hours) we didn’t have hot water. The property manager was very responsive and had someone come to fix it immediately. They ended up having to find a specific part, which took extra time, but by Sunday afternoon, the hot water was fixed.

Cabin Getaway with All the Amenities

We rented this cabin for a friends trip! There were 5 adults and 2 medium sized dogs, and we all fit comfortably in this cozy cabin. I would say 6 adults would be able to rent this cabin very well and maybe even some kids because of the pull-out couch. It was clean and the kitchen was fairly well stocked with utensils, dishes, pots/pans, and even some spices. There are quite a few other cabins that are very close, but the trees help make it feel secluded. There were minor inconveniences such as the Wi-Fi was poor and there was no firewood for the fire pit, but we would definitely rent again! Great value for a great price! Close to all Broken Bow’s amenities including the state park!
