This probably gets a big 5 stars for value for money and service. I paid under $100 for a one bed self contained apartment.. Upon check in I got a huge 2 bed! I made a mistake booking from the USA I didn't read the terms and conditions and found check-in reception closes at 6pm and I needed to pre arrange out of hours check in! I called the Quattro as soon as I had phone reception about 830 pm and they were very helpful and had an over the phone check in procedure with doors codes and safety pick up box with keys. What I loved was the no noise policy! And the modern furnishings. It's a fully equipped home from home! With pool and spa! It does need to concentrate on attention to detail, the room furniture was a bit untidy as in bedside table and lounge sofa not pushed back square, no tea spoons and cutlery draw has crumbs, cob webs to the balcony and the beds and pillows probably need upgrading or better bed pillow top mattress protectors.. ( that said maybe I'm being a bit fussy as Ive just spent time in the States In 5 star propertys and didn't find this bed as comfy) I would definitely recommend and stay here again.
We booked this place as a last minute booking because we wanted to leave the other accommodation that we had booked. Reception was closed when we arrived but there was a phone number to call. We were instructed how to enter the building and how to get out key and information needed for our stay. It was a simple process. We stayed one night & enjoyed the convenience of the place, the pool & the laundry facility. Parking is a bit of an issue but we parked across the road on the street which didn’t cost us much. Would recommend this place.
Great vibe at reception, made us feel at home, awesome rooms, very big, nice balcony, great roof top pool and spa. We were running late and no fuss was made when we checked out 30 minutes after. top marks all round
The apartment was very good value for money apart from the bad smell coming from the bathroom and the general wear and tear. However my main issue resides with the receptionist, he was an old man, I'm unaware of his name. I found him very weird, rude and unprofessional on check in. On arrival into the room I called him to ask if we could use the second bedroom, where he proceeded to hit on me. Bearing in mind I was in the hotel room alone waiting for my boyfriend to arrive. As the booking was under my name he decided to call the number while I was having a nap but to his surprise it was my boyfriends number on the booking. Weirdly he told my boyfriend that there was a random appointment with a plumber who needed to access the room while I was in it and he had been trying to get into my room while I was sleeping. That night I did not sleep a wink for fear that he was going to come in the apartment. Would not recommend to any young girls who want to feel safe.
Free internet was advertised on the listing however whenever trying to connect it would prompt for a credit card to gain access. I went to reception at 1pm however nobody was there then came back once more at 4:30 pm, still nobody there. Me and 4 other people (all of which were checked into the apartment) were playing music at 9:30pm on a saturday night (we could still talk normally and hear each other fine) when we were greeted by a security guard and told to keep the noise to a minimum. That was fine so we just turned the music off. After check out however I was billed $150 for breaking the "Excessive noise" policy. Absolutely ridiculous and I will never be back here again and I advise you to NEVER come here.
Stayed here for my birthday and was charged $150 for 'noise' which is absolutely ridiculous. We left the room relatively clean and they tried to charge us another $100 for a 3 hour clean. Appalling service, clearly their way of getting more money out of guests.
The rooms we're dirty. The kitchen was even worse cups, cutlery and even the dishwasher was filthy. Charged a fee for a security guard to tell us to turn the music down at 8pm? Not worth the 'apparent' savings. Definitely would not recommend or stay here again.
Extremely disappointed with my stay at Quattro on Astor. On the night of my birthday myself and 3 (adults) were having a drink and playing cards whilst listening to music (mind you, we weren't blasting music). At 10.18pm a security guard came passed to WARN us to keep the music down. A common event at many hotels when music is played. We politely pretty well turned the music off. Only to find a week later, that before any bond money had been put back into my account that a further $150 had been taken. Luckily I noticed because I wasn't told about this upon checkout or contacted about this AT ALL. I called thinking that there had been a misunderstanding and they said that due to the security guard having to come past with a warning at the early hour of 10.18 on a Saturday night and having had "too many people" (we had 4 people there and it was a 2 bedroom apartment) that we were charged $150 for it. Do not recommend for couples or friends who plan on playing music.
We stayed in a 2 bed apartment. Self catering facilities good enough to save money on eating out all the time. Woolies just up the street and cafe outside from door. Rooms a bit noisy, but roadwork going on outside. Staff helpful but not exceptional. From other reviews, looks like they weren't just having a bad day. Kids enjoyed rooftop pool. Bit of a walk to city but not too bad. In area. Eagle st wharf good free ferry stop. Tour of St. John's cathedral worth the effort. Good family layout. Don't expect to be wowed
Vulgar, Horrible, Rude, Pathetic, unhygienic, WORST HOTEL STAFF EVER! This "hotel" or should i say trailer park, Was possibly the worst place to stay, > We booked a penthouse, GOT A 2 BEDROOM Appartment. > No or little supplies, We ran out of toilet paper within 1 night with only 4 people. > No working cooking facilities (Had to order takeout) TV didn't work either. > The hi-gene of the the apartment was appalling to live in, copious amounts of mold through the bathrooms and cooking appliances that has been there for quite some time, Still other customers belongings in the closets, Dusk everywhere! Broken oven door stickytaped together, The bathroom smelt like cat piss. ciggarette burns everywhere. THE ROOM WAS NOT CLEANED BEFOR WE CAME, And i doubt much at all befor this. And to top this all off i went to complain to staff on check out to be spoken to in a manner i have never witnessed at a hotel or business, i had profanities yelled at me and told that i was a liar and was absolutely shocked that a customer that's complaining about a room would be spoken to like this, after asking over 15 times with no exaggeration for some one i can call or email as you would not help me. the lady refused to give me any details apart from "Call tomorrow" the staff member (Sherley im pretty sure her name was) then LOCKED HERSELF IN A CLOSET and told me to go away as im going to call the police. after packing the cars we then went back to check out our keys witch was followed by another 15 min "Chat" Where the lady then stated she doesnt car what we do or how we complain as "I'm the owner and ill just not answer your email and delete it" she then proceeded to call us liars and didnt care about the outcome of her hotel as she is selling it. So now there is no one we can complain to about our stay as the owner is the one yelling at us. THIS HAS TO BE THE MOST DISCUSTING AND RUDE PLACE TO STAY IN BRISBANE. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK IN OR STAY HERE!!!!
