Firstly, the room had a nasty smell to it. The lights in our room did not work. The bathroom was just not nice at all. When we came to check in, there was no staff and we could not get into the hotel. We then had to make calls to find out how to get to our room. It was only then that they requested a bond from us. So here we are, standing on the street trying to get money for the bond after we had already paid for our room, locked out of the hotel. That was just a bad start. Parking was not included in the price and we had to pay separate. Not once did I see a staff member around the hotel, noone offering help so we had to make outgoing call all the time if we needed something. I hated staying here and will not be returning!
Previously stayed at this hotel, Quattro on Astor in Brisbane. Was charged 6 months after my stay for two ‘car spaces’ that were never requested nor used, Quattro have ignored our emails/contact etc. to get this situation compromised. We arrived via uber from the airport and had never reserved any type of car space as we didn’t need one, extremely frustrating! I would advise you to take your service elsewhere.
Booked via booking.com for an advertised one bedroom with bath for partner's birthday at a one-night rate of $229. Checked the pictures and could see some rooms offered shower only, so specially requested a room with bath. Arrived "after hours" (3:30pm on a Saturday) and while the after hours check-in was simple enough, walked into a filthy two bedroom apartment without a bath. Here's what you can expect with booking this property, specifically room 101: - a hole in the kitchen ceiling over the stove with insect/vermin excrement around it - mould in all the shower silicone - dusty large 30cm+ cobwebs in the interior living spaces - kitchen benches and cabinetry that are falling apart - greasy fingerprints and food stains on tv cabinets and coffee tables - someone's KFC receipt stuffed into a kitchen down light over the bulb - fantastic for fire safety! - a balcony door that takes two people to open. Called to try to at least be moved to an apartment with bath, as requested, but after 7+ minutes on hold, was told they couldn't reach the property manager but have left a message for them to call me back. It's past 11am the next morning and I still haven't received a call. We ended up returning the keys to the key drop box at reception and booking a hotel around the corner instead. Have stayed in all types of accommodation all over the world, from camping, to backpackers hostels, to Airbnbs, all the way through to five-star hotels. I understand requests can't be guaranteed 100% of the time, but I at least expect clean, hygienic accommodation at this price point. By all means, book this property if you're happy to have the above welcome you for your stay.
Nice place centrally located in Brisbane spring hill area near to fortitude valley night life and Brisbane central Nearest to metro and bus stop All the facilities in apartment with kitchen facilities , cooking utensils, gas stove, microwave, oven washing machine etc... every thing u need to enjoy food with family and friends.. Great place value for money We were 3 friends the cost is approx 120-150 AUS Dollars.
We recently received an extremely rude email by the staff at this hotel and when questioned they simple said ‘don’t come’ - disgusting and disappointing customer service instead of trying to problem solve a mix up in bookings over two months away, not short notice. They didn’t seem worried to loose ‘one’ booking and I just felt this type of behaviour and attitude shouldn’t be accepted.
This probably gets a big 5 stars for value for money and service. I paid under $100 for a one bed self contained apartment.. Upon check in I got a huge 2 bed! I made a mistake booking from the USA I didn't read the terms and conditions and found check-in reception closes at 6pm and I needed to pre arrange out of hours check in! I called the Quattro as soon as I had phone reception about 830 pm and they were very helpful and had an over the phone check in procedure with doors codes and safety pick up box with keys. What I loved was the no noise policy! And the modern furnishings. It's a fully equipped home from home! With pool and spa! It does need to concentrate on attention to detail, the room furniture was a bit untidy as in bedside table and lounge sofa not pushed back square, no tea spoons and cutlery draw has crumbs, cob webs to the balcony and the beds and pillows probably need upgrading or better bed pillow top mattress protectors.. ( that said maybe I'm being a bit fussy as Ive just spent time in the States In 5 star propertys and didn't find this bed as comfy) I would definitely recommend and stay here again.
We booked this place as a last minute booking because we wanted to leave the other accommodation that we had booked. Reception was closed when we arrived but there was a phone number to call. We were instructed how to enter the building and how to get out key and information needed for our stay. It was a simple process. We stayed one night & enjoyed the convenience of the place, the pool & the laundry facility. Parking is a bit of an issue but we parked across the road on the street which didn’t cost us much. Would recommend this place.
Great vibe at reception, made us feel at home, awesome rooms, very big, nice balcony, great roof top pool and spa. We were running late and no fuss was made when we checked out 30 minutes after. top marks all round
The apartment was very good value for money apart from the bad smell coming from the bathroom and the general wear and tear. However my main issue resides with the receptionist, he was an old man, I'm unaware of his name. I found him very weird, rude and unprofessional on check in. On arrival into the room I called him to ask if we could use the second bedroom, where he proceeded to hit on me. Bearing in mind I was in the hotel room alone waiting for my boyfriend to arrive. As the booking was under my name he decided to call the number while I was having a nap but to his surprise it was my boyfriends number on the booking. Weirdly he told my boyfriend that there was a random appointment with a plumber who needed to access the room while I was in it and he had been trying to get into my room while I was sleeping. That night I did not sleep a wink for fear that he was going to come in the apartment. Would not recommend to any young girls who want to feel safe.
Free internet was advertised on the listing however whenever trying to connect it would prompt for a credit card to gain access. I went to reception at 1pm however nobody was there then came back once more at 4:30 pm, still nobody there. Me and 4 other people (all of which were checked into the apartment) were playing music at 9:30pm on a saturday night (we could still talk normally and hear each other fine) when we were greeted by a security guard and told to keep the noise to a minimum. That was fine so we just turned the music off. After check out however I was billed $150 for breaking the "Excessive noise" policy. Absolutely ridiculous and I will never be back here again and I advise you to NEVER come here.
