I appreciated the communication we received prior to our arrival and also during our stay. The home met our expectations and requirements (king size beds). However, for premium dollars, we expected the amenities to be premium as well. The shower heads were standard to substandard. The trays in the dishwasher were awkward and almost hazardous. But, by far, the main problem was the fact that we had no hot water or heat for almost 24 hours. The inconvenience of not being able to shower after skiing was not desirable. The stress of the loss of heat and the possibility of having to move was extremely stressful for my husband and me, and a concern for the rest of the family. I paid more for this rental than I would ever have considered before but this was a special holiday celebration. My husband, at 81, had knee surgery earlier in 2025. He was determined to ski in his 80”s and he was especially anticipating skiing with his daughter and grandson one more time. Therefore, I wanted all of us to have a wonderful holiday together in the mountains. My husband and I are both in our 80’s. We feel that one day of our trip should be heavily discounted because we had no heat. Management did handle the situation well but, knowing they had a problem, we would have expected them to have had it serviced and repaired prior to our arrival.
