Looked at these pictures, and immediately fell in love with it. Would go back in an eyeblink, but nonetheless there were shortcomings in maintenance and service.
Carpet was dirty, shower door kept jamming or coming off the track, window cranks fell off both inside and outside the condo, wand for blinds also kept falling off.
Management was indifferent. It took 2 days to get a burnt-out lightbulb changed and 2 service trips before they brought the right ladder to change it.
Door locks are accessed with a 4-digit code. One day we returned home only to be locked out because no one told us that the code had changed.
What is worse -- management somehow didn't know what the correct code was, so we lolled about town in the meantime.
But you just can't beat this place for cozy charm and wonderful views.
The first day I had altitude sickness and spent the day helplessly thrown onto the couch you see in that picture.
I was not good for much at the time, but enjoyed the beautiful view you see there.
As a bonus, the condo is set on an easy hiking trail. All day, just by looking out that window, I could see a stream of hikers -- couples, families, solo hikers, pets -- as they hiked.
It made being sick kind of fun.
Loved the attached porch, where you could also see the hikers. If you turned the porch chair sideways, you had a lovely mountain view.
Kitchen was extremely well-equipped.
Beds were not all that comfortable, but it only really bothered me when I had altitude sickness.
First floor location was ideal for us seniors.
