The property location was premium. However, the condo needs updated very badly and wasn’t very clean. The mattress in the master bedroom is uncomfortable and needs replaced. The en suite bathroom was nice and appeared recently renovated. The tub in the second bathroom looked horrible, the enamel was worn away, I wouldn’t want to sit a child in it for them to take a bath. The futon located in the 2nd bedroom that can be folded out and used as a bed is lumpy. If ever the furniture in this property is updated, new tub in the 2nd bath, and a fresh coat of paint throughout the whole place and a thorough cleaning is done, it will be worth the price we paid.

Great property right across from the beach. We were here for a soccer tournament and enjoyed being able to get beach time in when we weren't at the fields. Overall, a great property, with a few things that could make it a 5-star property: 1.) Two keys for the gate at the bottom of the stairs (note there is no elevator - so you have to carry all your beach stuff up and down); this would help when one person goes to the beach and another goes into town. 2.) The king bed mattress needs to be replaced; it's a bit lumpy. 3.) The futon in the other bedroom doesn't really work as another bed; I would replace it with a sofa bed in the living room or even a twin-size bed or daybed. The things that were great: 1.) The view, you can't beat the sunset view2.) The pool and hot tub area were clean 3.) Close to shops and trolley stop4.) Beach towels, chairs and accessories were nice.5.) Management team was responsive and helpful. Overall, I would stay again and recommend it to my friends. With a few tweaks, this could be a perfect stay.

What a view

Only issue i had was waiting on the dryer took sever restarts even for a small load other then that the property was everything we could ask for. The beach view could have been little better without the pirta johns right across the road but if u need them while on the beach they came in handy im sure

Staycation!

Beautiful Views and Location, But Not Quite a Premium ExperienceWe just returned from our stay at this Anna Maria Island property, and there’s a lot to love—along with a few things future guests should be aware of.First, the location is absolutely unbeatable. You're just steps from the Gulf of Mexico, with incredible, picture-perfect views from the property. The sunsets alone are worth the trip.The home is stocked with everything you need for the beach—chairs, an umbrella, and other essentials are all provided, which made our days in the sand super easy and enjoyable. The building itself is solid, and the pool and hot tub were actually better than described—clean, well-maintained, and relaxing.However, a few drawbacks kept this from being a truly premium experience:The road between the unit and the beach is extremely loud, and traffic noise was a constant distraction, especially in the early morning and late evening hours.The property is priced at a premium, but in our opinion, it doesn’t deliver a premium experience. We travel often and don’t mind paying top dollar for high-end stays, but this fell short—we feel it’s priced about 20% too high for what you actually get.The bathrooms were not clean, and we’ve attached photos to illustrate this. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and unfortunately, it missed the mark here.All that said, we still had an enjoyable time thanks to the location and views. But for the price, we expected more attention to detail.

Great location, great times

Pelican Cove's location was perfect, with restaurants and bars nearby and the beach just across the street. We occupied this rental property with another couple. Various activities were available. The pool and hot tub were great in the afternoon, thanks to the shade, especially after getting sunburned. Our only issue was minor - the dryer didn't function properly. We hung towels on the balconies, embracing a relaxed mindset while on vacation.

30th Wedding Anniversary

My husband and I stayed here in December 2024, and this VRBO was absolutely lovely. It was a charming apartment. It was clean, comfortable and had many amenities we needed. The proximity to the beach was perfect. There was a small glitch during the checkout process, but the property management team was responsive, and the issue was quickly resolved.I’ve visited Florida a few times before but had never been to Anna Maria Island. It was truly charming, with more of an "old Florida" feel compared to other places I’ve been. The water and beach were stunning—a beautiful and much-needed escape from winter.

This property was great. Hosts were on it and constantly responding to our needs. We walked to the beach most days and its a short little jont to the entrance. Traveling with a little the pool was a big hit!

Great location, beautiful views, very nice condo

Wonderful communication with property manager. The location is perfect, easy walk to Bridge Street, trolley stop is a half a block away for northbound, right across the street for southbound. Condo was wonderfully stocked, very clean, & spacious.

The first night of our arrival our A/C broke. July in Florida with no air was rough. The host was so responsive and so helpful that even though we suffered one night it did not dull our trip one bit. We will absolutely be booking here again!

Simply Amazing!

There are not enough words to express just how wonderful this place is. The island, the condo, the beach, the marina… all are awesome. We cannot wait to return to the island and hope to stay here again!! This was our first vacation in Florida but certainly not our last. We are already planning our next adventures on Anna Maria island!!!

Perfect view!

The location was great and the overall condition of the condo was good. The shower curtain liner & hooks in the master bath were all rusted & needed replacing, the outdoor furniture was dirty, the front door mat, rug in front of the kitchen sink and master bath rug need to be replaced (or at least washed). These few things that would make it a great condo.

Loved it!

We stayed for four nights and adored the property! The walk to the beach is literally across the road and straight onto a beach ramp- perfect for rolling our beach wagon overflowing with our kiddos beach toys. Parking is awesome right under the unit and easy to grab gear from your car on the way to the beach or pool. We also loved the screened in balconies overlooking the beach and pool- safe for a couple toddlers! Very clean unit and great location!
