Check in was quick and friendly. Breakfast was basic hotel fare, nothing special. The problem was the room. Mold on the bathroom ceiling, also on the wall over the outside door. Hair on the sink and shower. I suspect the room wasn’t cleaned since the last guest. The door didn’t fit properly, could see daylight on 3 sides. That was even before we were awakened at 8:00 by some men ripping the weather proofing off of the doors. I booked this location months ago based on positive reviews. When I looked online after arrival I found several negative reviews from the weeks before my stay, mostly relating to cleanliness. Next time I’m in the area I will skip this hotel.

When I checked in, the guy at the front desk was great. I went to the room and it smelled horrible. He immediately gave me another room. I went to that room and there were bugs in it. He immediately gave me another room. That room smelled horrible. He immediately gave me a refund and I stayed somewhere else. The service was very good, but the hotel was gross.

The room was better than I thought it would be after visiting the check in desk. That comment is strictly based on the appearance of the cluttered and dinged up front desk area. The room itself was fine. Didn’t realize it was a hotel with outside hallways/outdoor room access. Staff was efficient and friendly. It was a one night stay and good enough for one night.
