Lisa, our breakfast hostess this morning, was exceptionally kind and thoughtful to me and my better half after I apologized to her for having left your restaurant after breakfast on February 11 without paying! I am an 84-year-old absent-minded professor (literally, still teaching) and realized my error while driving to Providence that day (the 11th). As we drove along, my wife called Lisa, explaining how mortified we felt and asking if we could pay with a credit card right away. She said not to worry, took down the necessary information, added at my request a 25% tip for our waitress, and reassured us all was OK. I was glad to be able to express my gratitude in person today, and we had a very amiable chat with Lisa.

There is no parking included in the stay, no complimentary breakfast. In the room refreshment the creamer was gone bad . At night there was fire alarm to leave the floor , someone from the security knocked our room and and open the door at the middle of night .

We stay at the Colonnade fairly regularly because of its convenient location and easy parking. This time we were stuck there because of a blizzard, so we spent more time actually hanging around the hotel. The lobby is really comfortable and cozy with a gas fire and a front wall of glass. The room was also very comfortable, including beds, pillows, bathrobes. We ate breakfast twice at the hotel restaurant and the staff were warm and friendly.
