Royal Sonesta Boston

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Paid $480 a night for high floor room facing Charles river. Got a lower floor partial view room. Additionally, I was billed twice on my CC that I fortunately caught.

I loved every detail about stating at the Royal Sonesta the only disappointment was the parking. Over $40 plus a day for guests??

A nice hotel at a nice location, overlooking the Charles River. They gave me a complementary upgrade to a river view room.

Location is excellent! Easy highway access to Rt 93. Mall across the st. MIT is 1 mile away. Attached parking garage. Valet parking also available. Science Museum is around the corner and easily walkable. On the Charles River, great view from our hotel room. Easy check in and checkout. Very friendly and helpful staff. There is a cafe, a full restaurant, and a bar also. Concierge service available. Room spacious. Big closet, excellent restroom. Beds very comfortable. Large desk with two chairs. Excellent decor. Will definitely stay here again! The kids and I loved it!

I had an amazing time at the Roya Sonesta Hotel in Boston. They upgraded our room for free and the whole stay was very enjoyable. We stayed over the Christmas holiday and on Christmas morning we had a box of cookies at our door, how cute! It was a quiet, beautiful location and the staff was excellent. Thank you Royal Sonesta!

Staff was tremendously helpful. They were able to check me in early and even held my luggage while I waited for the room to be ready. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from a mall and is not far from the downtown area. Parking was a bit hectic as you'd have to find street parking if you did not want to pay by the hour for your car to be held in their lot. I would return if I am ever in the city again.

Nicest checkin desk ever. Very quiet room. Cool lights and night light on a sensor. Big Walkin closet with robes. Should provide bottled water at no charge

Very enjoyable stay. Super location. Wonderful room with fabulous view of the river AND balcony. Good lighting. Fridge in room, lots of sitting space. Prompt room service. Friendly and helpful hotel staff.

Our room was very nice, with a great view of the river and skyline. It appeared closer and more convenient to downtown Boston than it was, so probably wouldn't stay there again if main objective was to tour downtown Boston. A ten minute walk to subway station (cut through the mall) wasn't super convenient, but definitely doable. The ride into town is still another twenty minutes, and walking across the bridge was quite a distance, but we did it once. Breakfast buffet at the "arty" restaurant was really good one day, and not as fresh the next, but still good. Kinda pricey at $19.

Great service and amenities. Beautiful view if you can get a room facing the water. This hotel was priced a little lower than other Cambridge hotels but had a lot more to offer. Dining and parking are available across the street at the Lechmere Mall.

The hotel is a little costly, but the location and views are fantastic. Within walkin distance of a lot of interesting things.

Great location and beautiful hotel! Self parking garage and conveniently close to shopping and the T. Gorgeous view of the city skyline from your room and competitively priced. Very good value.

Staff very accommodating let us check in comsiderablu earlier than check in time.

Great experience. Rooms are very clean and just 5 mins away from dt boston with no traffic!

Great Hotel, Great view of the Boston skyline and Charles River from my Hotel window.

We just stayed one night, but the room was large and beautiful with a great view.

We needed to check in early and the hotel was very accommodating. Overnight parking was pretty steep, $42, but seems to be the going rate near or in the city.

Had a two day stay and felt comfortable...through and through! Nice staff!

Had a great time. Comfortable. Got the river view and enjoyed it !!

The staff went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable.
