Nice hotel, primarily for business travelers who have a car and don't mind driving to restaurants, etc.
I stayed here for an interview. I like everything except the bed is too soft. This is my problem. Overall this is a nice hotel. I wish it could have a continental breakfast and lunch available.
We booked this room for 2 nights, for the Harvard/Yale game and to visit our son for the weekend. This is the 2nd time we have booked a room at this hotel and both times we have been extremely pleased. Driving up from NY on a Friday night (is no treat) and they allowed us a very late check in. The breakfast was really good!!
Staff very helpful good location right off the turnpike
This Courtyard by Marriott is modern, clean, and comfortable. Our two days were quiet and pleasant. Starbucks coffee for breakfast was an added plus. (The breakfasts were good too.)
I planned a bachelorette weekend for my best friend and the bridesmaids and I considered all the details and called multiple times before hand to make sure everything would be perfect. We wanted 2 rooms adjoining so we wouldn't have to bother others in the hallway going between rooms and early check in so the girls could decorate before the bride showed up. Upon arrival the rooms were not ready as promised and once able to check-in, we were told they do not have adjoining rooms even though we called and requested it and were told they reserved our rooms for us ahead of time to ensure we'd get them. Our rooms were across the hall from each other and one of our rooms even ended up having an adjoining room that seemed to be taken by other guests. Later that evening one room ended up having a major leak in the bathroom ceiling, but they were able to take care of that. However, the front desk attendant was rude and not apologetic for their mistakes, we would've liked if they offered something to make up for it since I t was disappointing not getting what we had requested. Despite the change in plans, the night was still great, the rooms were very spacious and comfortable so it worked out.
Nice hotel. Comfortable bed, clean room and quiet. Only negative there was no sink hot water at 10 p..m. on Saturday night to wash face. Not freezing just lukewarm. Great french toast for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.
This was a nice hotel where I was able to get I'm and out. The location is ok I just wish there were more things in the area. Parking was free but it was hard to find a spot. When I was there they were working on extending the parking area so that was plus. I would stay there again
I stayed here during a 3 day weekend with my boyfriend. The staff was very nice we came in late and we're still able to check in. The room was very clean and so was the bathroom which was a huge plus. There wasn't a whole lot in the area and parking wasn't great but they are expanding their parking. In all I'd recommend it if you were looking for a comfy place to stay
Arrived really late and the front desk knew my name as soon as I walked in.... Room was ready, bed was very comfortable - worked out perfectly for my situation
very nice and quiet room. very clean. my children with a baby also stayed there. had the crib ready for them. starbucks downstairs is all you need.
Everything was good. The only thing the pool was too cold to go swimming in
Clean, comfortable, organized, convenient bistro, will return.
Stall was exremely friendly and accomodating. Close enought to Rte 95 to drive in any direction w/o getting lost Hotel was clean and room was bright and friendly..
The Marriott Courtyard on Winter Street in Waltham,Mass. was excellent. Everything from the room to the wonderful people staffing the barista where I and my family got breakfast were outstanding. The location was good for us because we needed to be close to the university we were visiting. We were 15-minutes from the school and nine miles from Boston. The only down side was the construction being performed on Route I-95 it was literally right outside the Marriott Courtyard. The courtyard staff couldn't control the construction work. I would recommend this Marriott Court Yard to anyone.
Stayed two nights, attended a family function in Maine and returned for another three nights. Both rooms (506 & 419) were clean and quiet. The king bed on the fifth floor for the two night stay was too soft for my back. The fourth floor king bed was a little firmer and provided better support. Pillows in both rooms were a combination of down feather style and a firmer man-made style. Free wi-fi and each room had a refrigerator larger size (perhaps a 37" or 40" ???) LCD HDTV. Fifth floor room also had a microwave oven. This hotel has a bistro by the lobby that is open in the morning & late afternoon to mid-evening hours. The bistro offers standard breakfast items, plus fruit and a few other healthier choices. For later in the day, hot & cold sandwiches, soups and a few other items are served. Limited alcohol of wine, beer & a few specialty drinks is available as well. There is complimentary coffee near the business center, but I found it is hit and miss in taste and flavor (mostly miss being very bitter). Fortunately the bistro serves Starbucks coffee as well as other coffee house offerings and I found there coffee equal in quality and flavor similar to a coffee house. The hotel offers a small 24 hour market with a small selection of food and beverages. There's a large outdoor seating area with umbrella tables and a fire pit, but a compressed time schedule didn't allow us to relax in this area. The location just off from I-95 is fairly easy access, even with area road construction on the bridge. There are many hotel choices in this area. I chose this location based on research, reviews and primarily for no bed bug reports. The Naked Fish restaurant is about 1/2 mile away on the same side of the road, but I didn't see any other places to eat that are in the vicinity. My wife's cousins stayed 1/2 mile away from us on the other side of I-95 at the Embassy Suites. They were satisifed with their room and stated the included breakfast was good in quality and taste. Overall we were satisified with our stay, however the price we paid for the three night stay was more expensive than the other nearby hotels. I would stay here again, but would also consider the Embassy Suites and the Westin as well.
NIce hotel, it had modern style furnishings in the lobby and nice facilities. I really liked the patio with the fire pit. Construction nearby made it confusing when getting off exit.
Upon arrival we were greeted like old friends and the check-in time was rapid. The lobby area was modern and inviting and all the staff were very courteous. Our room was clean, spacious and modern with a wonderfully comfortable King size bed just like at home ! We were very impressed and pleased with our choice.
Under construction--computer room used as breakfast room, a little crowded & no protein (eggs) served. Fitness room--OK. Previous week--stayed at a 5* hotel, full breakfast, etc.
Overall my experience was very good. The lounge area was closed because of a Bartender shortage, also room service with food would have been nice. The hotel was bright and cheery and the staff was excellent, very helpful and pleasant. The location was very convenient.
