Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly. Hotel was very basic-older. Ice machine didn’t work. One shared microwave oven in hallway. No clock in one of our rooms. No wall decor in the other room (holes in wall). Hallway carpet smelled mildewed. Continental breakfast did not have decaf coffee option.

It is an older motel, previously a Best Western. It has seen it's better days. The new owners will have a lot of work to do. All the carpeting in the hallways and room is stained and smells bad. The staff, although friendly, have limited English which made communication a little difficult. My room was clean enough, except for the carpet.

Gentleman that checked us in couldn't recommend a restaurant to have dinner at. Very strange since there were MULTIPLE restaurants in the area. Facility is old which is fine but it really didn't appear clean. Lots of carpet throughout the motel which was dingy and dirty. Biggest complaint was two ice machines which were out of order and 2 soda machines, one of which was "out of stock" and the other completely off. Wouldn't recommend.

I ended up not staying there because when I called, the phone etiquette was so deplorable I didn't feel comfortable. So I ended up canceling the reservation and staying at a Marriott. I was disappointed because I wanted to see that area and look around for its history. But like I said, I had a friend with me on speakerphone and even he said are you sure you want to stay there? So I didn't.
