Toller Urlaub

Ich war mit meinen Eltern für eine Woche auf Borkum. Obwohl meine Mutter im Rollstuhl sitzt, hat alles hervorragend geklappt. Tolle Insel, super Wetter und ein geräumiges, zentral gelegenes Appartment. Orga und Kommunikation mit dem Posthus war 1a!

Zentral gelegen, kleine Mankos

Zentral gelegen, sauber, ausreichend ausgestattet und groß genug für 4 Personen. Kleine Mankos: Direkt am Bahnhof gelegen, daher hört man auch immer den Bahnübergang und die Züge. Das Wohnzimmer mit Schlafcouch lässt sich nicht verdunkeln. Für Dunkelschläfer in Sommer nicht ideal.

Preis / Leistungsverhältnis fraglich

Es war unser erster Urlaub auf Borkum und wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche auf zumal das Wetter gut mitspielte. Das Appartement war sehr geräumig und entsprach der Beschreibung . Weil es sehr zentral liegt - direkt an der “Kleinbahnstation” und in der “Kneipen- und Restaurantmeile- ist immer etwas los was uns schon zeitweise störte. Auch im gesamten Posthus war es ab und an hellhörig. Da wir leider nur kurzfristig buchen konnten war der Preis sehr hoch im Vergleich zu anderen Appartements in der Nähe die wir uns vor Ort anschauen konnten. Nach Borkum kommen wir garantiert zurück aber dann höchstwahrscheinlich ein anderes Appartement. Leider hatten wir auch Besuch von ein paar Silberfischen was ein bisschen unangenehm war.

Super lage

Wir waren in Wohnung 301a. Die Lage ist perfekt, unsere Buchung war leider beim Personal am Haus nicht eingegangen aber schnell und freundlich gelöst. Fragen vor Reiseantritt wurden auch schnell und unkompliziert beantwortet. Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet, aber der Platz gerade im großen Schlafzimmer hätte besser genutzt werden können, zB mit einem Hochbett oder Schlafsofa. So mussten wir mit 4 Personen das Sofa dauerhaft als Bett stehen lassen, was den Wohnbereich nicht gemütlicher gemacht hat. Waschen und Trocknen mit je 3 EUR scheint sehr teuer, WiFi hat oben im DG nicht funktioniert. Aber der Lage wegen immer gerne wieder

sehr schöne Wohnung in Top-zentaler Lage

wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub im Postkus, die Wohnung war für uns (2+2) perfekt und vor allem auch der Aufzug ist ein tolle Sache! Das Housekeeping Paar war sehr nett und hilfsbereit und hat uns noch tolle Tipps gegeben!

Schöner Herbsturlaub trotz Corona

Die Wohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen, lediglich das WLAN könnte etwas stärker sein (finden unsere Kinder) - aber bei meist gutem Wetter ist man ja eh mehr draußen. Sehr positiv aufgefallen ist der relativ neue Fahrstuhl - Treppesteigen entfällt daher :-). Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr Zentrale Lage.kurze Entfernung zur Promenade.

Die Wohnung im 3. Stock war neu renoviert und sauber und sehr geräumig. Die positive Überraschung war das Vorhandensein eines Aufzugs. Das Hausmeisterehepaar Zander ist sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.Sie haben für alle Anliegen ein offenes Ohr. Gerne wieder !

Gemischte Gefühle

Die Ferienwohnung liegt zentral und ist zu Fuß vom Inselbahnhof in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Lokale, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie Uferpromenade und Strand sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Leider wurden wir am Anreisetag bei der Schlüsselübergabe vom Hausverwalter/Hausmeister versetzt. Wir saßen daher mit zwei kleinen Kindern eine Stunde im Hof. Durch die freundliche Unterstützung der Postboten des Auslieferzentrums im EG konnte der Verwalter dann doch noch aufgetrieben werden. Unglücklicherweise liegt die Wohnung 306b direkt über der Hausmeisterwohnung. Dieser fühlte sich durch spielende Kinder derart gestört (umgebauter Industriebau mit sehr hellhörigem Boden), dass er uns die ersten Tage ab 17 Uhr (!) mit SMSen "bombardierte" und uns in sehr fragwürdigen Ton aufforderte das Kinderspielen zu unterbinden. Erst nach Rücksprache mit dem Vermieter konnte er sich zu einer Entschuldigung durchringen. Da während unseres Aufenthaltes gerade der Laden im EG eingerichtet wurde, war die letzten Tagen der Flur vor der Wohnung und ein Teil des Treppenhäuser mit Kisten vollgestellt. Das trug dann leider auch nicht zur Erholung bei. Fazit: Borkum gerne wieder aber nicht im Posthus

Großzügige Ferienwohnung mit kleinen Haken

Der erste Eindruck der Wohnung war, "große Räume, hell, freundlich, modern". Dieses angenehme Gefühl blieb, obwohl wir zu viert eine Woche dort wohnten. Besonders die Lage, mitten im Ort und ganz nahe zum Strand und der Strabdpromenade ist klasse. Die kleinen Haken sind: - 3. Stock ist für ungeübte Treppengeher eine tägliche Herausforderung. - die Geräuschkulisse von der "Fußgängerzone mit Disco" und dem Bahnhof direkt vor dem Fenster sorgt manchmal für Störungen bis in die Morgenstunden und jeden Morgen ab 7:00 Uhr für Gebimmel, Signalhorn und Geratter von der Inselbahn (Dafür aber herrliche Sicht auf die schöne Bahn, manchmal mit Dampflok) - In der Wohnungsausstattung fehlte ein Suppenkelle, Untersetzer für heiße Töpfe / Kanne, ansonsten ist sie gut komplett Sehr schön war auch, dass die Organisation der Wohnungsvemietung sehr gut und und sehr freundlich ist.
