Excelente apartamento, excelente ubicación

La estancia ha sido perfecta. El apartamento dispone de todo lo necesario para dos personas, buena cama, sofá cómodo, cocina y hornos modernos y muy bien equipados, baño amplio, gran TV, reproductor de música por bluetooth, carrefour city a la vuelta de la esquina... Nos sentimos como en nuestra casa. Hay que añadir que el apartamento está ubicado en la antigua muralla de Burdeos, tiene una combinación perfecta de modernidad y al mismo tiempo te lleva a tiempos lejanos.. Al estar en el casco antiguo es muy difícil aparcar, nosotros optamos por dejar el coche en un parking de pago a unos 200 mts del apartamento (lo dejamos de 19:00 a 10:00 aprox por 14€, no es barato). No se puede tener todo, si quieres zona céntrica, es difícil aparcar. Sin lugar a dudas el mejor apartamento en el que hemos estado. Sin duda volveremos. Muchas gracias Lionel y Corinne!!

Very unique property! Communication and check in went smoothly - Anthony was extremely helpful. Only suggestion would be to consider some sort of canopy or cover over the bed due to the sand shedding from the ceiling.

We loved the location with beautiful buildings and restaurants! Great wine!! We had trouble communicating through VRBO to get access but finally had to pay roaming charges to contact by phone. We were driving and found it difficult to navigate near the stay and parking was a fare distance. Once we met up with Anais, she was very pleasant and helpful! The unit itself was stunningly beautifully despite that while laundry was listed, it was unfortunately not available for use. The bed would benefit by a canopy over it to protect you from bits of sand, which drops gradually from the ceiling. All this said, we loved this unique unit and the location and it was a great value! Cheers!

Difficult review

The good parts, Very historic apartment, great location, restaurants, close to the tram. Don't plan on getting a rental car or large taxi close. We carried luggage several blocks and then down the 500 year old stairs. Good part is that they provided parking ramp access 500 meters away. Our checkin was difficult. Miscommunication and not not very patient, leave it at that. It was well equiped and very clean.

Appartement charmant

Appartement très bien situé à 4 minutes à pied du tramway, une station qui nous permettait de prendre plusieurs directions entre autre pour l’aéroport. Un peu humide mais des déshumidificateurs étaient disponibles. L’appartement est au sous-sol avec des fenêtres donnant sur les douves, cachet spécial, donc un peu plus sombre. Pour ma part ce fut un coup de coeur.

Cool, charming place to stay!

The premises are large, clean, comfortable and very well laid out. Everything you would need is provided. The location is very convenient for walking around the old city, located within the pedestrian area. Géraldine, who managed our check-in, was very helpful and accommodating and easy to reach. Sleep in a 16th century apartment!

If you a want modern but very old apartment with original stone work and spiral stairs to your door you love this. Leave the spoiled princess in chains and escape to huge stone work with rustic iron bars on the windows. The street is so narrow that a single cat will nearly scape the buildings. Adventure??? It starts here!

A unique merging of modern and historical

This property was perfectly suited for our 3 night stay! The location is centralized yet also secluded and quiet. The amenities and decor exceeded our expectations. It is very spacious and fully stocked, plus the ambience of the historical space made us smile every time we came back to it. Geraldine’s check-in support was also excellent. This unique stay is great for those looking for something different. Spacious, modern and well furnished. Close to many attractions and public transit. The underground environment has a few quirks. It is slighty humid, but not enough to keep things from drying. The block walls shed small amounts of mortar if brushed against. The host is terrific.

Cozy Stay in 13th Century Cellar

The property manager, Geraldine, was great at communicating ahead of our arrival. Once there, she was waiting to let us in & gave us a quick synopsis of all the wonderful tourist activities in Bordeaux. The location was ideal, the place was tidy and although people were partying in the streets after a rugby match we could barely hear them through the VERY thick walls. Overall wonderful stay! One thing to note is it’s in a basement so the winding stairs can be difficult for some (especially with their luggage), but overall we found it fine to do the steps on a day to day basis.

Quiet apartment in the heart of Bordeaux

Communication with the property manager was great, she met us at the building and walked us through how everything worked. This place was a great location for us, a five minute walk to both the airport tram and river. Wifi was good, the washing machine was great and we liked that a drying rack was available. Make sure you bring your own detergent though as there was none provided. Blackout inserts for the windows made the rooms nice and dark for sleeping. Overall, a great stay.
