The Vermont Hotel

Fantastic location, decor is a little tired

Hotel is at an excellent location right next to good restaurants and near the center of town. The room decor and bed were a little more than I would expect for this price. The worn furniture and hallways are in need of a refresher - but overall cleanliness was good.

Crowne Plaza Newcastle - Stephenson Quarter

Great Location, Room Size & Breakfast

This is a quality hotel! We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was fabulous and it was a very stormy night we stayed over and it felt very warm and inviting. The staff was very helpful.

Holiday Inn Newcastle - Gosforth Park

Great location

The Holiday Inn Newcastle was a great location for a person who is taking several day trips while in England. A large well lit free parking lot is on site. This is often hard to find in a lot of European communities. It has quick access to several main arteries in the Newcastle area. By using their breakfast buffet, you can be on the road quickly first thing in the morning. They are also located right next to a gas station for that last fillup before heading to the Newcastle Airport. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. And did I mention that nicely heated tile floor in the bathroom? One of the drawbacks included computers in their business center which wouldn't connect with the internet so I couldn't confirm my flights on line.

County Hotel

Little Gem

The staff was wonderful. Parking was ample and availible. We had a little of a hard time finding it with the one way streets. Great location we really enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk to nice restaurants and clubs.
