Isis Hotel Goddess of Bodrum - All Inclusive

4.5 out of 5.0

I booked 7 nights in mid October through Easyjet, overall value for money 100% perfect. While there we did hear that other guests had paid a lot more, double in fact, through Easyjet, and they were not happy when they heard what my wife and I had paid, but overall there were many who had like us paid a modest amount, and were very happy with everything. The hotel is located about 5kms from Bodrum, but it is very easy to catch the local bus, which in October run every 5 or 10 mins into Gumbet and Bodrum. The hotel is located on a steep hill, and that may not suit everyone, for my wife and I the 2 min 500mtr walk to the top of the hill to catch the bus was easy, for those who dont like a steep walk the hotel do provide a drop off service. The rooms were very spacious, and although we didn't pay extra for a sea view we got one anyway, and it was fabulous. The bed was very comfortable, and there is plenty of storage space. Some furnishings are looking a little tired, but nothing to spoil our holiday. We did have to pay extra for the room safe 20 Euros for the week, but as we were all inclusive and did not have to pay for anything else, it gave me piece of mind and I felt ok about it! If you want silver service and al la carte, this hotel is not for you, but overall considering what we paid, the food was very good, in fact excellent!! There is great choice at all meals, but the breakfast was incredible, with a huge range of food. Lunch and dinner also pretty good, and my wife who is vegetarian found it excellent. Although it is buffett service, the staff were all very attentive and helpful, under busy conditions. In October only the main restaurant was open, the other 3 were closed, but snack bars also open. The grounds are very nice, although the path ways down to the beach are steep, flowers and plants still in full bloom in October. The beach and sun decks are both lovely and in October not busy, the water was crystal clear, a little cool due to the time of year, (but not as cold as Brighton at the height of summer). The beach is shallow and very safe for children, and life guards on duty even late in the season. The weather was perfect for the beach with 28 degs and clear blue skys every day, the sea like glass! The terrace bar was nice in the evening, with some entertainment even late in the season, its also nice to have coffee there in the morning, the view is stunning. I would also recommend a day trip to Bodrum, and also dont miss the Greek ruins just outside Bodrum, the bus stops just outside. The walk into Gumbet is also nice and just 20mins (inc the steep hill) The staff were all really pleasant and helpful, Ive seen reports of rude staff but that was not my experience. This is not a 5 star hotel, but for what I paid its brilliant, I would come again!!

Don't go to this hotel. When we arrived there was no one to show us where our room was. The room was okay but was never cleaned the whole week we were there apart from the towels being changed. The restaurant has to be one of the worst I've eaten in . The food was repetitive and cold . Despite having spoken to guest relations and the hotel manager this never got any better. The manager brought us a plate of hot chips as an apology but we really just wanted everything to be hot. No waiters to be seen and when they did appear it was only to tell us not to touch the wine as it was there job to pour it out !! It was the end of the season all the a'la carte restaurants were closed . There was no entertainment whatsoever. Soap, toilet rolls and paper towels were never replenished in any of the toilets during the last two days What was left of the staff weren't in the least bit interested but what can you expect when even the assistant mangers never even said good morning On the last day it was like the Marie Celeste. If they want to having paying customers up to the last day then they should offer the same standard of service throughout Apart from the amazing views this hotel and management need a good kick up the backside

This hotel is a business hotel and towards the end of the season is FULL of middle aged Turkish businessmen on courses away from their wives and homes. They behave APPALLINGLY so unless you are travelling with a male in your party you will be bothered, stared at, accosted, pointed at, chatted up morning noon and night and not left alone. Myself and my teenage daughter hated it and felt really uncomfortable. Even some of the nicer staff commented how they hated this time of year at this hotel as they found the guests so rude and surly. The service in the restaurant was non existant apart from a waiter call cahil, who appeared to be doing everything. The room although nice was not cleaned properly. This hotel needs the owner, who sits on his yacht moored off the pontoon watching the staff, to spend a lot of money on it to bring it up to scratch.

Came here with my fiancè and another couple. Was told the hotel was 5 star. At best it was 3 stars. Food was awful -cold, had hairs in, raw (chicken!) and was a bad selection. Staff were supposed to be multilingual but did not understand basic english and spent the whole time we spoke to them on social media. None of the restaurants or facilities were open aside from the pool and beach and the employees were clearing away loungers etc while we were using them. The market had next to no stock and did not restock the whole time we were there. The ONLY good thing about the hotel was that it had an AWESOME bar/restaurant called Felicita's just up the hill. Awesome food, cheap drink and the owner will do absolutely anything to keep his customers happy, including ordering in food if he didnt have what you fancied on his menu. 100% if you stay in Gumbet, visit Felicitas, DO NOT BOOK AT ISIS.

I would not recommend this hotel. The rooms are in need of a deep clean and refurbishing , AC does not work! The 5 Restaurants were closed, food is cold and not up to 5 star rating! I stayed at a 4 star last year which was much better. In the main restaurant the toaster is not working! Snack bar is running out of stock, we had s choice of two ice creams this has reduced to one!

We went to Isis hotel in October food was not good ,all 4 ala Carter restaurants closed so ate out a lot of the time , theres a bar just along from Isis called Felicia great guy called Adam really friendly ,food was nice and made us feel very welcome would recommend to everyone

negatives 1. pay the extra to stay in the main hotel, the outer rooms are not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel ( no view, small and not for children & elderly people as the stairs to the rooms are very steep) 2 the food is not always hot ( no microwave and no toaster) positives 1 The staff are very friendly. With a special mention for Selman the barman and Abdula in the kitchen (makes a great omelette) 2 Rooms are cleaned every day and stocked. 3 Location of hotel is great (on the beach) 4 Entertainment was average 5 The view from the hotel rooms is stunning

Hi. The position of hotel is very good in Gumbet of Bodrum. The food is good and drinking (Only turkish is free) is good. All wine and ... are ready. have a 24H bar. Show team is good. Have a shuttle that every 20Min go from hotel to street have dolmus to bodrum. The price is very good.

Very pleased with our stay at the hotel. The location is very good, the staff was amazing, caring and well trained. The food was excellent and there is good choices. We will defenetely recommend this place
