Have visited before, gave it a glowing review 2 years ago and came back again Arrived 16th Sept. The pre-arranged pick up from the airport by the hotel didn't happen ! The next day was fine, noted the hotel was not very full, went to their beach resort and ate in their restaurant in the evening. The following day we asked for their transport to their beach resort only to be told the beach resort was closed, but they could take us to a resort next door; they were taking their own resort apart for the winter ! The following evening we went to the restaurant for dinner only to find that was closed and they would serve food from the bar by the pool. Over the next few days we watched them dismantling the hotel ready for winter closure. On the Friday the alternative beach resort was not available, on the Saturday the main pool area was not accessible as they were preparing for a wedding reception that evening and come the evening they were not serving any food to guests and we had to go out. We left on the Monday, one of only a handful of people left, as the Hotel closed for winter on the Tuesday ! All this being said it is a very nice hotel with clean spacious modern rooms, very good facilities, when they are available, and the staff were always friendly, helpful and polite. Just don't go after the first week of August

After a week at the beach near Fethiye, we opted for a hotel in Bodrum a bit nearer the city for the 2nd part of our holiday. This hotel was up a very big hill, but we like the exercise so we loved it. We walked into bodrum each day, a taxi however is cheap as chips around £4/£5. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, the pool relaxing, with views over the city towards the castle and breakfast was relaxing and tasty. The staff were also very pleasant, particularly helpful were the two young men at reception. Nothing to fault with this hotel. Had a great time.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel was very well decorated and quite modern and good size rooms. Our room was at the bottom floor that felt like we were going into a dungeon but was still really nice when you went in. The staff were all quite friendly too. The only negative i would say is the fight for the pool beds is very frustrating. People would go early in the morning put their towels down and expect that to be their spot for the whole day which is very unfair for everyone else. Its especially frustrating when you go to the pool there is only 1 or 2 people there but all the beds have towels on them and are all taken. We had an argument with a very rude guy that was yelling and carrying on because we took his bed, when there were no towels on it. The hotel should have a policy that your bed will only be held for half an hour or an hour. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Decided to stay July this year for 7 days in this Boutique hotel, booked directly with the hotel. I did email the hotel in advance to find out regarding airport transfer and I am still waiting for a response From checking in staff where so- so friendly as to not over friendly. checked into the room did NOT find any bathrobe as was stated on their web site? Satellite channel where not always available and CNN not a very good reception most of the time. Asked regarding Wi-Fi and was informed that this was ONLY available in the lobby area and NOT the rooms. very strange that after day three was available in the room?? there was NO bathrobe in the room the entire stay as stated on their web site. Went to breakfast the first morning , with what would be described as a basic selection of breakfast i.e. juices poor low standard, thank goodness for the fried eggs and omelettes other wise not much to eat. Staff in the restaurant at breakfast and bar where not very friendly or pleasant and lacked 101 in guest customer attention and care. I don't think a smile in the morning time would have killed them. when clearing or serving the tables no customer interaction as in good morning, or may I clear the plate or have you finished etc. Bar service ordered drinks and we where sitting beside the bar on a lounge chair and bar staff could not find us. Mojito has may be one or two mint leaves in at most. very glad we did not go for the all inclusive food with the hotel after we seen the food at breakfast and served at the pool. Their is a private beach but this is via a transfer mini bus. Grand Yazıcı Boutique Hotel & Spa TORBA BEACH CLUB Staff and managers more friendly than the main hotel and had food and drinks there which where better but to be served an Aperol with no sparkling cava or wine. had to advise them how to make this drinks. also had food at the small restaurant here and as well as dinner one evening here which was pleasant. The Grand Yazici has lost its Boutique hotel experience from possibly when it originally opened as I would NOT call this a Boutique hotel in any manner or form. Last day checked out myself while wife was finishing the packing in the room , was charged for a snickers bar which I assumed she had eat, when returned to the room the wife advised me she did not eat the snicker, either it was missing on the first day or they just added it on to the bill

This is a wonderful, peaceful hotel. A 7 minute cab ride to the town with plenty of shopping, harbour and superb restaurants. The hotel is staffed by friendly, helpful, courteous people who are constantly trying to improve their English! We have been here for 5 or 6 years, many of the staff remain the same and they welcome you back as long lost friends. The infinity pool is lovely. The bedrooms and airy, very clean and well equipped, the beds are large and extremely comfortable. We love this hotel and will return again and again.

Just spent 2 lovely weeks here. Can't really fault it. Stunning views over Bodrum make it special. It is exactly as it appears in their website. It benefits from a breeze due to its hillside location. Hotel is kept spotlessly clean and it's nicely appointed. Rooms serviced daily to highest standard. Really comfy large beds in pleasantly decorated rooms. Lovely bathrooms - the best showers!! Staff are welcoming and will happily assist with any queries. Yes there's a steep walk to the town centre but it's a nice stroll seeing locals going about their business on the way. Return cabs are approx 16 to 20 TL. Would probably appreciate free bottled water in the rooms but it's not really that expensive in the hotel. It's cheap in the local supermarkets so wise to stock up discreetly! Only had one lunch in the hotel as we were b&b and chose to eat in town - the hotel food was good. Breakfast buffet offers nice variety too - tasty made-to-order omelettes. Pool area so relaxing with comfortable double sunbeds. No loud music blaring out or annoying 'entertainment' just MoR music piped out in the background so it possibly wouldn't suit everyone. For a relaxing holiday this is the place to come. And we'll definitely return here.

If you book a full package (full board), you won't be disappointed especially with food (it's delicious) and no additional fee. Be careful with drinks as they might charge you double than agreed (made up prices). So check your bill(s).

An excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The food is good and the portions generous. Be aware there is nothing to do in the area of the hotel (no shops, restaurants etc), but it is only a few minutes into Bodrum (taxi about 20 Turkish Lire), where there is enough of everything to please anybody. Our room had superb views across the town to the castle and sea. Spotlessly clean - will certainly go again.

This is simply the best hotel me and my girlfriend have ever stayed in. It's extremely luxurious very very clean and all of the staff are friendly which is what you look for in a hotel. We stayed in a deluxe double but I think we might have been upgraded (but I could be wrong) as the room was much better than what we anticipated, the room and bed were huge and I found it big enough for me and I'm 6ft 5. The bathroom was even better with a very powerful shower and wide deep bath. Every day the room was cleaned and was faultless. The whole hotel is like the rooms pure luxury even the sofa and decor in the hotel lobby. We spent a couple of days around the pool which we didn't think we would do but the Hotel was that nice we didn't want to leave it especially just relaxing in the infinity pool, because the hotel was quiet at the beginning of our stay every morning we managed to get a big soft double sunbed which was so comfy to fall asleep on in the hot sun. Another reason for staying in the hotel was because we were full board meaning we got breakfast lunch dinner we didn't expect much after reading reviews on here but the food was the best I have ever had from a hotel all fresh and tastes delicious and a huge choice, breakfast is very continental so lots of bread, cheese, fruit , turkish sausage, so if your wanting a English fry up then it's best to go for it somewhere else, however if you ask they can make omelettes fried eggs and even have a pancake station. On the first day for lunch we were under the impression you just chose 1 item off the lunch menu but that is not the case you can choose what ever you want so most days we would get a chicken kebab each a big bowl of halloumi salad (which is better than any halloumi I have tasted in England ) and some pizza or Turkish bread and then pudding followed by tea or coffee. So the reviews on here that say it's not the best for lunch or dinner ignore! This is the same case for dinner it was all very good and plenty of choice. Every day apart from our last day (Friday) we were served by the same waiter who spoke good English and would go out of his way to help us and even requested the chefs to cook us special Turkish breads that were not on the menu. The hotel has a free shuttle every hour that takes you to Torba beach which is lovely and has a jetti you can sunbathe on and water sports are on that stretch of beach. I can only think of a few downsides about the hotel. 1. It is a Long long walk from the centre of bodrum we walked it on the first day and didn't do it again it took around 40 minutes down steep hills, a taxi is only 15 lira so I recommend just paying that each time. But for it being out of main centre on a steep hill it has the best views of the whole of the coast with the castle right in the middle. 2. Drinks can be quite expensive especially at the Torba beach it cost £10 for a can of coke and 1/2pint of orange juice but if you add it to your room you don't realise as they don't tell you the price. 3. At Torba beach DO NOT go near the red and white buoys in the sea I made the mistake of resting on one whilst out swimming and unbeknown to me it has poisonous seaweed on it which made me have a huge rash on all my chest and the worst pain I have ever had for around 12 constant hours. The staff rushed me to the pharmacy but I didn't see any signs warning me of this. I would 100% come back to this hotel if I ever stay in bodrum again.5 stars!!

Amazing hotel with great views very relaxed vibes, bit further out the city but location can be sacrificed for the views you get rooms are very good no faults what so ever, but bit on the expensive side your looking about between £5 - £7 for a bottle of beer.
