Just went home from this hotel.. and it was used in all areas..! If i should give the hotel stars i would give it 3 stars maksimum, because og the service is low.. the rooms are old.. the beach is fine, and the bar is also fine.. the same with the food.. but if you want oceanview you have to spend the first days in the reception.. untill you get what you paid for..! If there is earthquace try to get the lower rooms..!
Back home from an amazing holiday in diamond of bodrum! ;) we have been there for 35 times now, and still love to go there! THE rooms are Nice, very Nice & friendly people there! The food is ok! An amazing view! Pool is Nice! The all inclusive is ok! Maybe Some more different drinks (alcohol) would be Nice! But iTS ok! We were there with a group of friends (16) from belgium and we had a great time! So Thanks! We Will be back at the end of August! Can't wait! 😉 I give this hotel 9/10! Love it love it love it *jan*
Location of the hotel is very good, close to the city center and and next to the beach. Beach was not nice as it looks on the photos. There is a lot of small stones and I would not call it sandy beach. Most of Hotel stuff was very nice and pleasant. They let us in the room earlier (before 10AM). Cleanness of the room was average. Bed sheets and towels were clean and white. Bathroom was disappointment and it was very obvious that bathtub was not clean at all. Food was acceptable, some of dishes were very tasty and a lot of fresh salads. Reading some previous comments I was prepared for disaster:) Still far away from the best quality, but it was possible to make good choices. Some more variety of fresh fruits will be nice. Overall, not as ***** hotel, but balanced value for that money.
We were there for two nights. In general, I like the hotel. I pretty much appreciated the view we had over the sea both from our room and also from the lobby. The food was mainly good, we were not disappointed. One problem we faced was that our rooms got ready pretty late on the first day which was very annoying. I didn't hear noise from the neighbors, but probably they were not noisy (:D) since my friends who stayed at the room beside us said he could clearly hear us (nothing naughty ;) ) The bar was good, they gave beer and some common drinks for free. But the quality of the drinks we received from different location were different ! The pool was nice (about 150 cm deep) at all locations. And also the access to the beach was easy, just across the road. They also provided towels for free. The location was good, about 15 minutes walk away from the crowded places and 10 to 15 minutes away from the famous castle where you could also find bars to chill out at night. They also had an indoor pool and offered massage services (with fees) which we didn't use.
We visited this fantastic hotel in September, excellent hotel, delicious food with excellent variety, also for vegeterians, friendly staff, beautiful place, very good location. When I next time visit Bodrum, I will definitively repeat.
Would like to think that the services that are advertised were not available because it was out of season. having said that I think the indoor pool is permanently too cold to use. out of 10 days not once did we see other guests using it. Turkish baths saunas were available but at a charge. rooms a bit outdated had the maintanence guy around 3 times due to fixtures falling apart. cleaner came everyday but would question this as they never managed to empty the bins or mop the floors etc. Think they just used to make the bed and change the towels. no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms went up to breakfast on the first day and took 2 teas back to the room still in room when we left 10 days later. the glasses & cups we took back to the room of an evening we left in the corridor these mounted up by the end of the 10 days but again were there when we left. rooms had aircon but was only a fan blowing out hot air. the fridge in the room never helped either it only blew more hot air into the room . We kept the water in the draw by the side of the bed as it was cooler in there. plus you were given 2 bottles of water a day if the cleaner seen you had not used them in the fridge then she never replaced them. food was ok if you liked salad salad and salad. everything else was lukewarm and very repetitive. plenty of fresh fruit and desserts but very much the same. you could get an omelette and a fried egg but not till 8 am. guests were leaving 8.10 1 day and they had asked for eggs before they caught their bus but couldn't have any because it was before 8. food times were never 1 minute before they're time but they never went 1 minute over either. location fab not far to walk into the main strip were you found plenty of restaurants bars and shops. always haggle with them to get the best price. and I might suggest not to go shopping when a cruise ship comes in because folks we met had been told by local shop owners to come back tomorrow because prices would be better as there was a ship in. even the restaurants and bars increased their prices for a ship coming in. the best way to get about is the local buses they picked you up from outside the hotel and cost 3 Turkish lira this took you to the bus station were you could get a bus to any of the resorts. turgetries gumusluk gumbet all worth a visit. It may be worth while doing your shopping in these towns as we found them alot cheaper. overall a good holiday but this helped by meeting 4 great couples as there being no entertainment to help you interact with others on holidays it was a relief to hear somebody speaking the English language.
We choose this hotel for the location, and were not disappointed. Just a few minutes walk along the sea front, and you are in the centre of Bodrum. It is well worth paying the little extra for the sea view room. The views over the bay and towards the castle are stunning. Plus the sunsets are beautiful. We were in a twin room, it was comfortable, pleasantly furnished, with a balcony. There was a safe in the room, and water was supplied each day in the fridge (part of the all inclusive). The restaurant was on open plan with the swimming pool. There was always a really good selection of hot dishes, salads, desserts. Fresh omelettes, eggs etc. freshly cooked at breakfast time. We really enjoyed the food. The pool area was always clean. The pool was clean. Again, lovely views across the bay from here. There were also comfortable seating areas to relax in. Staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, and hope to go back again soon.
hotel rooms not great only cleaned properly twice in ten days bin emptied three times, hotel needs a good refurbishment and staff training would help , food not great choice poor unless you like aubergines and repetitive and cold, table service in restaurant for water or drink and slow to clear dirty dishes, certain individuals did make a bit of an effort but to little to save reputation, the good parts are the location which is great for Everthing and the pool barman Billy was good and done what he could to entertain, this hotel could be great with money spent and time given to staf training.
The rooms were slightly off-beat, but the hotel is well located and offers excellent views. The service can improve, but again the dinner buffet was brilliant (we got the half board package). Nice but can be better.
Hi, All-inclusive means free booze, free food, free snacks. It caters mostly to tourists who prefers quantity over quality. This is what Diamond of Bodrum does. It has everything a 5star hotel has, but with at most 3star qualty. We were there with a large group of friends (50+) to commemorate an event. The hotel has a private beach, but the beach is surrounded with lots of ships, yachts, whatsoever so you wouldnt be sure of cleanliness. The breakfast was OK+, the brands of wine and other spirits were unknown in the market-even the local market. There was no shortage of food, but quality lacked. The rooms had airconditioning, some even worked. And so on...
