Nice welcome from staff room ok beds could do with a up date room very clean bathroom nice and clean would stop her again if I hate to I would give the hotel 4 out of 10 the food looked ok did not try food
Noisy location. No AC and required to open a window which let in more noise. Bed was not firm enough for my desires. Breakfast was OK but not anything special. Easy check-in and check-out. Ok in a pinch.
Our family stayed one night in the executive room while we were in the area. The room came with two single beds, a full size bed, table with chairs, and a wall closet. The room was big enough for our movements. There was a stand up shower and a bath tub. The room also came equipped so we could have tea/coffee. The Inn is next to the road which was not an issue. There was some noise but it came from one of the tour buses visiting the neighboring McDonald's. A group of girls came and sat below the our window in the parking lot and played loud music. They also left their trash behind. The hotel lobby was nicely done. We did not have breakfast, too expensive for my taste. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
Breakfast was not included in the rate, but was very good. Room was very simple, but bathroom had both a bathtub and separate shower. The room could probably use some updating. The staff was very pleasant.
Just for a one night single stay the welcome was very friendly. Entering the room I noticed it was very dated. The curtains were very dirty, the nightstand was sticky, the window couldn't close properly.... Breakfast was as usual but the diner I had was terrific. Place need to be renovated.
I was booked into this hotel for business, to say I was surprised at the location right by a busy motorway was an understatement. My room, No. 20, ground floor looking right out onto said road. Not looking forward to a decent nights sleep, and the room was freezing. However, I turned the radiator on in the room, shut the ventilation in the patio doors and it nearly started to be cozy. I went to the restaurant and had the 3 course meal from the menu, and it was pretty good. Soup, burger and chips with salad and a coffee. The service was excellent and the staff were brilliant speaking perfect English for us tourists. Back to the room and ear plugs in, bearing in mind the close proximity of the road. Slept like a baby, best nights sleep for a long time. Must have been the coffee. Breakfast the next morning was buffet style, as goo as you'll get anywhere for twice the price. Staff again were brilliant. I won't recommend this hotel for a family holiday, but a s a nights stop off, you won't go far wrong. As I said a surprising hotel, but pretty damn good.
Beautiful scenery. Sat out back by the river, very peaceful. Rooms are nice. Staff are helpful and the price is right. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to relax out back and enjoy the scenery.
The business area is a perfect spot to sit down and work or meet with clients. Wifi is for free. The food and drinks offerings are not so super so that needs an improvement. Didn't use the Hotel facilities so I can not judge that part.
Good hotel, reasonable priced, Room clean, tidy and spacious. Very good service from the staff. Excellent breakfast and bar. Within walking distance of Bodegraven, which has excellent shops and bars. Close to motorway for easy access, but not noisy
We stayed 2 nights to visit the Tour de France Grand Depart in nearby Utrecht. The hotel is very conveniently located seconds off the autoroute - in fact you can access it directly via the truck-stop. The truck stop itself is no bother, you can hardly hear the trucks from inside the hotel. Service was efficient and friendly and the room was clean ,comfortable and spacious. We stored our bikes in the hotel secure bike storage area. Cycling into Utrecht and into Gouda was no problem and is accessible- Dutch style, via segregated cycle tracks which make for relaxed travel. We ate in the restaurant one night and the Autogrill the next. Nothing really to write home about but perfectly good for re-fuelling after cycling 70km in 35 degree heat. Our stay coincided with the hottest day in Holland in 114 years. The one downside is that the hotel shares the lot with a 24hr McDonalds. Unfortunately, this attracts early-hours car-park racers whose tyre-squealing antics in clapped-out Opel Corsas disturbed our sleep -especially as our windows were open against the hot night air. The hotel does have a security guard to chase them off, and it was only on the Friday night to be fair. But, don't let that put you off. This is a very useful stopping point if you're visiting the area or travelling through.
