We did not get the room we reserved; were given two Queens vs. King. The room was not clean. Air conditioner was filthy.

I reserved a king bed room. When we went to check in the attendant gave us a room with 2 beds. I went to the desk and asked why. After talking to the desk help the manager came out and said they all we were guaranteed was a room, not necessarily the king bed that we reserved and booked. He finally gave us a room with a king bed but wasn’t happy about it.

Pros: Property looks SO nice from curb appeal. Inside is trying to look nice. Room was mostly clean and had a nice thermostat for temp control. COVID practices were a joke. Hotel has apparently zero soundproof measures from room to room and floor to floor. So much so that I didn’t sleep. Was double charged (with no resolution) so Paid $250 for this one night stay and got only a shower for it (not a good night’s rest, not a swim, not a safe or nutritious breakfast, not a positive experience dealing with staff). Even room amenities were less than normal (one tiny bar of soap for the sink AND the shower to share -for one example). Staff was extremely unprofessional - The general manager being the worst offender. I don’t have any trust in this individual property, the Holiday Inn chain. I now question all Holiday Inn hotels’ quality. I thought there were some corporate standards they must comply with but I guess not.

Despite being ten years old this hotel looked/smelled new and was very well maintained and spotless. Despite the proximity to the highway, our room was very quiet. This is an easy drive (albeit 30 minutes) from U of I Champaign and so it is a great way to save a lot of $ on lodging for a weekend when the hotels in CU jack up their prices (football, Dad's weekend etc.). Breakfast was typical in this price range and fine. Many options and you always get those great cinnamon rolls at HIE. Didn't make it to the pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful, comfy beds and great pillows My only complaint about this property is poor water pressure and a shower head that was mounted way too high. I felt like I was in a light rain trying to get the soap off : o) Bath towels were scratchy but I'm being kind of nit-picky here... Other than that it was a great stay and I will stay here again.

We had a great experience! Check in was easy with friendly staff. She gave us great suggestions for nearby restaurants. As soon as we walked in the room we got the smell of freshly laundered linens. The room was extremely clean and the sheets were impeccable. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Overall a nice hotel, room was clean and comfortable, although the room’s heating/AC unit’s fan was noisey

Everything at hotel was good . One of the better beds I've slept on. If I just showed up without a reservation it would have cost me 10 less because they honored AARP

TERRIBLE! No parking space when I arrived, I requested non-smoking and was put in smoking room and hotel would not accomodate my request to change; piece of granite fell on my foot in shower! Horrible!

LOCATION WAS A LITTLE FAR FROM U OF I,BUT VERY CLEAN, HOTEL IS ONLY 1-2 YEARS OLD SO EVERYTHING IS STILL INGREAT SHAPE, STAFF WAS VERY GOOD, AND MOST OF ALL THE POOL WAS WARM,GREAT BREAKFAST AS WELL!

I would have appreciated a map of LeRoy being available. The manager said that the maps and business district materials had been ordered.

Very nice room for the price. Beds were nice. Room very clean. Bathroom was very nice. The shower was very nice. I forgot my shaving kit and they provided one for me. Hotel is only one year old and it shows. All the staff that I interacted with were pleasant and helpful.

Staff was absolutely superb. I got lost on the way and called desk staff. They guided me around the area I was lost at. Back on course !!!!
