We requested a microwave and fridge. The Orbitz assistant told me she well check with the hotel. Then said that she was told it was ok. Well there was not microwave, the hotel had issues with someone and chose to eliminate them in all rooms. "We could us the one in the lobby". UNACCEPTABLE, we did not want to eat out everyday. They did have a small fridge which was fine and we worked around that, and bought our on microwave. They seem to have people that lived in the hotel, but kind of hung out outside their first floor rooms on the outside of the building. We hung the "do not disturb" sign on the door, but they came in anyway while we were gone and brought towels, clean, empty trash etc. We guessed for safety reasons they cannot leave the room unchecked in case someone is injured or dies???. So it was clean and nice staff.

Free breakfast means coffee, milk, donuts. If you want to save money for your trip, excellent palace to stay. Btw, their service was really nice. The bed was quiet comfortable. Anyway, pretty much you can get everything you need at here.

First off, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They explained any fees I was not sure about & cleaned the room daily. The room itself looks a bit outdated. The beds were very hard & the blankets not comfortable. The room was cold and we didn't notice there was an old style heater in the corner (so we never used it). We just used the room to sleep, so it was not too much of an inconvenience.

The hotel is horrible. It smells bad. The room's walls had peeled wallpaper and the carpet was filthy. It had 0 security. Anybody could go in and out through the side door without anybody noticing it. It offered breakfast but I did not want to stay more than one night. I booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1. I booked it through a 3rd party O and when I asked for the reimbursement for the night I did not stay, they refused to do it, even when I made the cancellation more than a week in advance. The 3rd party didn't do anything to get this reimbursement according to them, it was the hotel's decision to refuse reimbursement. I rated 2 for the staff because the front office person said Hi and thank you that was the extent of my interaction with them.

Breakfast availability is just for name sake. If they have cereals, they didn't had milk. If they had bread then there is no jam or butter.

The staff was very helpful. Within walking distance of the stadium. Rooms were clean however there was a strange smell in the room.

Visited the IU campus and attended a football game. Location was ok, room was as-advertised and price was great. Would stay here again.

good location (not downtown) and walkable to stadium. Had a fridge which is about the only good thing I can think of. The bed was the worst I have ever slept on. I might as well slept on floor. The foot end of sheets were dirty. My guess is they flipped it assuming no one would look down by their feet. TV was outdated. Now, it was one of the cheapest hotels so you get what you pay for. But I probably won't visit this location again. Let alonean "Americas Best Value Inn" as it was my first and probably last visit.

This was a place to crash at night and get a shower. It appeared to be clean but the condition of the carpet and bedspreads were a little scary. Moldy shower curtain was the only visible issue. It was a $79 value for $179. All the hotels in the area have you by the short hairs during a football weekend.

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The bed was confortable enough, though the pillows are on the hard side, at least for me. The common areas of the building seem to have been updated recently but the rooms still need some attention. The light above the sink didn't work and the carpet and walls had several stains. The window curtain was torn and woud not hang properly. It was an OK value for the price.

It was great. Exactly what I would expect for the price

The staff was friendly. The room was clean. Everything had a fresh coat of paint, and the carpeting was new. Underneath that the bedspread and curtains had holes in them. The furniture was old. My television did not work. There was no coffee machine in the room. A decent cup of coffee was available downstairs in the morning. Only generic sweet breakfast cereals were available with some cheap store bought baked goods. I tried to nap Saturday afternoon, but the noise from the next-door room prevented me. It was quiet at night. I had a reasonably comfortable bed and a hot shower a short drive from campus for the best price in Bloomington.

This is not the fanciest place, but it is a comfortable and cheap place to stay, which is very near to campus and easy to get to/find.

Booked two rooms for a short weekend stay when all other options in town were filled. Rooms had varying missing items. One had a microwave and hairdryer, the other missing those and an alarm clock. One had an iron, the other had the ironing board. General odor persists in all rooms, and paper thin walls. Unsecured entrances. It's fine if you just need something cheap for a night or two.

Breakfast was horrible, couldn't get on wifi and when we did it would kick us off, very cold in hallways, and heat barely worked in room. Checked in at 2a and was charged full price for 8hrs worth of stay!! Very much overcharged!! To high priced for such a shabby hotel.

The continental breakfast was horrible, very cold in hall ways, stinks really bad, heater in room barely worked, and they are way over priced.

The staff very friendly. Kept the facility quiet. Felt safe.

I didn't even stay in this room. Whole hotel smelled dirty, the room was dirty, the beds were not comfortable to even sit on, and the carpets were terrible. I checked out within less than 15 minutes and went next door to a Motel 6. Also, my daughter was also staying in an additional room with her children and she had the same experience so she checked out also.

Building is in need of lots of repair, had no amenities , no coffee, no pool, and a foul odor! But the price was right

This hotel is under renovation, the elevator has not been inspected as required by law, the room was clean, but it had been recently worked on and there was drywall dust on nearly every surface of the bathroom. The picture posted for this listing is not up to date. I was disappointed with this trip, I have stayed at other motels in this chain that were better maintained.
