We stayed here two nights and it was a wonderful/relaxing stay! The Beds were comfy, rooms were clean, fridge and micro were in room, it was also very quiet. Staff were friendly, but very business like. The breakfast was delicious, esp with the fresh waffles! My only complaint was that immediately you enter the building and you are in the dining area/combo breakfast area. It would be nice to have them make a nicer entrance and then a separate out of the main walk in way to have as food serving area/eating area. There was ample parking and near many restaurants. We greatly enjoyed our stay!
We had a wonderful stay at this gem of a place in Tomah! The place was neat and clean and the staff was simply wonderful! Breakfast was nice! People may find the bathroom to be small but It wasn't a big deal for us. It is right next to some of the best restaurants and fuel stations are right next door! Also, Walmart is at a stone throw's distance. The price was perfect and our stay was wonderful!
What takes this chain one step above all the other chain hotels in USA is the China plates and mugs and metal knives and forks! It is so nice not to eat from styrofoam with plastic knives and forks. I would say it's worth paying the extra but it doesn't cost anymore. Rooms are always clean and spacious, good coffee maker and very comfortable bed. What really astounds me is that they do offer styrofoam and plastic... and some people use it... WHY????
I've never checked into a hotel and not stay but there is always a first. Checked in and went to park our truck and boat trailer but there was no where to park. One area along the side already had a truck and trailer parked. The overfill area already had a semi parked in it. At check in the woman at the front desk was VERY helpful getting us a room that would accommodate our family and pet on a ground floor. When I requested a refund she wasn't happy but did give it to us. Literally no where for us to legally park! Never saw the girls snide of the room but the lobby was clean. If you are pulling a trailer, this is not the place to stay.
Comfy beds and a clean room we're enjoyed on our overnight stop. Fridge and microwave are in the room. Breakfast was adequate--waffles, sausage, etc. Jennifer and Ken were the staff on duty during our stay; they were friendly and helpful. Bathroom is small, might be an issue for some. Traveling with 97-year-old mom; it was fine for her.
After a small snafu having the wrong date of our stay in Tomah only realized at the desk... Jennifer made arrangements for a comparable rate to accommodate us for the night. She apologized for the inconvenience of us still being billed for the "missed" reservation and us apologizing for missing it, the fact she went above and beyond top notch customer service makes Quality Inn a place I'd stay again. The property and room were clean and comfortable close to several restaurants and shopping areas. While Tomah is small the Quality Inn is a good place to stay. My only complaint is that the jets in the hot tub could have been stronger.
We are "first timers" staying in Tomah on our way home to South Carolina from a summer stay in Minnesota. Seems to be a popular stop. Our room is clean, beds quite comfortable, bathroom small but very adequate. Good rates too.
scary the price been to a quality inn same price night and day this hotel is super clean and the staff is nice if i come back tomah this hotel is my first choice one thing is i am a memeber for what choice is telling me my member number was put in beyond bad the lady was drunk or did it to be not to get points
One of the best Choice Hotel. Check in to get surprised. I visited to hang out with my friends. I got best night sleep, Hot breakfast in the morning, friendly staff. The manager helped us fix our reservation to meet our interest.
We stayed here on 3 different occasions during one week. The staff can't be beat. They were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I really wish they had regular size pillows instead of those little square pillows. There is no elevator in this hotel. The first floor rooms are pet friendly rooms and they are all 2 queen beds except for one room that has a king size bed. The king rooms are on the second floor as are the rooms that do not allow pets. So if you have mobility issues and have allergies to pets, this might not be the best hotel for you (but ask the staff they may have rooms on the first floor that are not for pets). The pool was very cold while we were there, but the hot tub was excellent. It was very relaxing after being out all day. There is a decent breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, bread, bagels, packaged sweet rolls, little muffins, cereal, packaged oatmeal, boiled eggs, yogurt, bananas, apples, coffee, tea, 2% and skim milk). I would definitely stay here again when in the area.
