Nice room, no tv, or wi-fi.

Desk clerk was helpful and friendly. Room was nice and spacious with a jetted tub, like I expected. However, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, and that is a deal breaker. Also, the television was the size of a sheet of plywood, but only received four local channels and about twenty shopping channels. A guy can only watch so many reruns of Friends, or Wheel of Fortune. On the plus side, the property is a short, safe sidewalk ride away from one of the Greatest Bike Trails, you would ever find.

Great place for bicyclists to stay.

The motel was very easy to find from the interstate exit. It said it was close to bicycle trails and it was. Bicycles were allowed in the room which was wonderful. A nice family restaurant was near. The breakfast was complete and offered for an adequate time. We enjoyed our stay.

Hotel Room - 6.5/10. It was spacious, but had a different layout. The elevated parts in the sleeping area/bathroom entrance and near the jetted tub were inconvenient and a mild hazard. The jetted tub was 8/10. It was spacious, but could have been cleaned better. The TV screen format was off and couldn't be changed. No designated desk chair with the desk. Bathtub was very slippery. The toiletries were lacking in quality. The bed was perfect! Pillows could've been bigger or more of them. Complimentary breakfast - Waffles 10/10, Orange Juice 10/10, sausage links 7/10 (salty), scrambled eggs 7/10, potatoes -5/10 (looked and tasted spoiled). Amenities like pool, hot tub, and fitness center looked nice, but did not use or inspect closely. Staff were 8/10. Courteous and friendly. 10/10 easy parking and check-in/check-out.

The hotel is clean, well kept, the pool is warm, the breakfast was inclusive of hot items. There is a family restaurant across the parking lot that was good. I will stay here again the next time I visit Sparta.

Great need for detailing and maintenance.

The desk was not wiped clean. There was a single tissue in the box and no refill available. Towels were placed under waste cans in the breakfast room, presumably to soak up leaking liquids. Maintenance was unacceptable: The shower faucet handle came off in my hand. Lovers falling off, etc.

The room smells and the breakfast is the same everyday. The muffins are a shard as stone. Nobody is paying attention to do refills when food is out! Garbage is overflowing and nobody is removing it!
