All the staff went the extra mile for my daughter's birthday. They upgraded our room so we had a spacious room for the two of us (mother and daughter) and a plate decorated with 'happy birthday' and truffles on it when we arrived. She also had a beautiful 'happy birthday' treat for pudding that evening and also on the Saturday morning - the day of her actual birthday, so she felt very special.

Wedding function noise but didn't spoil our stay

3 night stay for GB Masters at nearby The Belfry. Although the room did not have a refigerator, which was needed for medicines, one was very promptly delivwred and installed in our room. Made full use of the facilities with much needed swim afterspending all day on our feet following the golf. Very friendly and accomodating staff with nothing being too much. Only down side was noise on the 2nd night due to a wedding being held and our room was close to function hall. Minor issue really as we were so tired we would have slept through anything but would not have been too happy with the noise on a different stay. We were in Room 75 and there were rooms even closer to the function suite. Breakfast included with drinks made to order and brought to your table, plenty of choice with "specials" cooked to order Bar food lovely and main restaurant food excellent, again service in all three was excellent

A lovely property, nice breakfast, and the leisure facilities were very good. Some things to keep on top of - the air conditioning unit and fan in the room we stayed in weren't working or weren't clear how to use. A small downside on an otherwise lovely stay.
