Being in such a great location, the whole of Solihull is entirely walkable from the apartment. It's just a 15 minute walk to the centre of town and the main shopping district. There are regular busses into town taking less than 10 minutes. Solihull train station is just a 2 minute walk from the apartment - From here there are trains to Birmingham New Street station taking less than 20 minutes. Birmingham Airport is just a 15 minute drive from the apartment.

Property was not very clean. Microwave, fridge and cupboards doors were dirty and marked. Wall behind the sink had food splashes. Some cleaning products and tea towels would have been a help. All the pans were awful. We had to nip out and buy a saucepan. The bedside cupboards and lamps were sticky with dust. The bathrooms were very clean. Slightly horrified that there were no mattress covers on the beds. The furniture is very very basic. A cheap sofa which was stained and cheap dining table and chairs. The place could have been nicer with some extra lighting like a couple more lamps (which are cheap to buy). The windows were so dirty we could barely see out of them.

The property was spacious and I'm a nice complex. There were signs of use (the odd mark on walls, ceilings etc but it was of a general good/nice standard. The washer was out of service and there was no corkscrew. The owner provided some free refreshments (beer & cider) which was a nice touch. The communication before arrival could have been better (as to how to gain access). The only real slight annoyance was that the bedrooms were white and there was no black out blind/curtain so at 6am the rooms were really bright.
