Room quite small, but comfortable and with all the essentials needed. Quite thin walls to next room but fortunately the occupants were quiet at a reasonable time (they might have heard my snoring though!)

Terrible stay!

On arrival quite late at night, met a grumpy receptionist who made us feel quite unwelcome, got into the cold room no heating, turned on the heating. It was just making ticking noises! Found paint peeling off the bathroom ceiling. Bed was uncomfortable! Not a great stay, glad that we were only there for a night!

Two night, weekend, solo traveler stay.

I didn’t eat or drink so I can’t comment on that. The t.v was great, Netflix ready to go and other apps. The WI-FI was terrible, though there was no problem with the internet connection on telly, my phone however kept losing signal any my own service provider had even worse connection due to the location I’m sure. The bed and pillows were on the uncomfortable side too but that could just be a preference thing. One off the towels was stained but the room and bathroom were otherwise clean. It did say shower/tub combo but it was only a shower. It was very noisy, the couple above me and opposite were arguing till the early hours. A two minute walk away is a co-op, Indian restaurant, fish and chip shop and an off licence, so essentials are readily available. All in all for the price it was ok.

The room on the second floor was much better than the previous one on the ground floor, it looked like it had been refurbished and the bathroom was clean and tiled.

This is a great location for the NEC, which was a 4 mile drive only. Very friendly staff, particularly the lady serving breakfast during our stay 5th and 6th September 25. She was really nice, friendly, chatty and helpful. We will definitely stay here again

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. What i did not like was the hidden parking charge of £10 for overnight parking. Hotel informed me if i had booked direct there would be no parking charge. You should highlight the charge and not put it in the small print.
