I believe the Extended Stay line is the best bang for your buck. My only problem was it was Nascar weekend at Talledega and it was really crowded and a little noisy but that's on me for not checking first. I loved this place and would definitely stay here again.

Draw your own conclusions, if this place was FREE, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!....drug deals being made, hard towels, rusty tubs, room appearance & smell unimpressive....and a sad breakfast bar....First and last visit, NEVER AGAIN! !!!!

We stayed at this motel last year and enjoyed it.So we returned this year, with completely different results. The first room we had was buggy(roaches and silverfish) requested another room which was reluctantly granted. this room was much cleaner overall, till we opened the refrigerator. it still had the former occupants food and drinks in it and didn't work as the door was bent. enough! will we stay here again? I think not.

It was clean and the location is terrific. Room feels like a mini apartment, as if home. Nice place for the money

Good hotel in great location. Was in town on business and needed a place to crash before I flew out.

Older hotel, but the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. I wish it was easier to get change for laundry there.

Basic hotel for a basic price. You get what you pay for. The hotel definitely needs a renovation. I feel that the amenities provided in each room were overemphasized. The countertop had been broken in one place and a member from the staff had not repaired it.

Great room. Like a little efficiency apartment. Only small complaint I had was, no coffee maker.. Otherwise, great value.. Would stay there again anytime...

Hotel could use a little deeper cleaning. Otherwise it was adequate.

Average extended stay, pretty clean, nice bathroom and one of few extended stays to offer king beds, I've stayed here a couple times. Would come back.

It was a great stay! Aside from the awful thunderstorms that night keeping me awake, I enjoyed the room. The front desk staff (Scott) was very nice and helpful and patience w my questions.

This hotel was simply okay! The hotel was a little older than what I was expecting! I probably will not stay here again just because of that reason.

Bad, bad, bad, bad, old warnout room and did I say the room stunk, and I mean really bad. I would have gone and got another room but there were 10 people behind me waiting to check in, and it was late and had been driving for 11 hours. Just pay a little more and fine somewhere else.

Stayed at this hotel for a conference across the street [...]. Nice sweet with only two complaints--internet was a bit slow and I had to unplug the fridge at night because it emitted a buzzing noise. Other than that, clean and nice.

I love this hotel chain for quick stays. Spacious room. Big bed. It was an awesome experience. Very upscale area, but low cost accommodations. I'll stay there again when I'm in Birmingham.

After reading some positive reviews I was really hoping I had found a nice place for a decent price. Boy was I wrong. The room was not exactly clean with soap scub in both the sink and along the side of the tub. The previous guest had some very nice hair. How do I know that? Because it was all over the bathroom. The bedspread print was of bugs which I should have taken as a warning of the bugs we would soon encounter. We found some crawling along the couch and wall. We had issues with neighbors smoking weed that we clearly smelled from our door. And another set of neighbors who found it appropriate to bang loudly on doors and yell down the walkway at 5am. Some positives. We did experience staff who treated us well and the location is decent. It seems to be a nice enough part of town. Plenty of shopping and stores. Close to the zoo and other attractions. But I will never be returning to this hotel and dont advise others to stay here either. It might be ok for single men in town on a job but for families please go elsewhere.

I have never traveled to Birmingham before and knew it was not the best city but I found this hotel and it looked decent for a total of 107 with tax for a Friday and Saturday night and it was not a disappointment. Great location. Not at all in a bad part of town.

We used the pull-out sofa bed and it was more springs than bed - ended up having to line the "bed" with the sofa cushions. The place was relatively clean and the receptionist was helpful. We didn't use the kitchen, though it seemed pretty small for cooking anything involved. Not bad, but don't plan on getting much out of that sofa-bed!

It was a pretty good experience. Fast check in, ample parking, great location.

The Management staff was made aware for several issues through front desk staff. However, I have not directly been able to communicate with supervisor, although I have requested several times. In my room #358, There was a broken/removed closet door. The oven was extremely dirty, and the restroom was without supplies. After a called to the front desk, I was advised that it would take about 20-30 minutes for the supplies to arrive. The manager was never on property and the property was booked within its entirety. This disabled me from moving to another location on the property. I was stuck with this room that was not clean appropriately.
