Wish I could upload pictures. Bathroom shower mold everywhere, ventilation on wall covered in dirt and hair!!! Smell of mold in the air. Fire alarm missing covers, lamps not working. Disappointed to call this an Embassy experience! Get it together Birmingham!

Front desk staff was good but I didn’t have a room available when I arrived at 5pm. My number was taken and told I would be contacts when it was ready. A couple few drinks was offered at the nightly reception area. I don’t care for bar stock highballs so didn’t use them. After two hours went to the desk and told a room was ready. Not sure why I wasn’t notified. Then I was charged for parking. No plate taken. Should have just said I didn’t have a car. Bathroom sink was clogged but room was excellent otherwise.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Had a great breakfast(free) and the staff was very polite and kind. My only gripe was we arrived after 6 pm with reservations for two rooms for over a month and were told that our rooms weren't ready yet. With check in starting at 4pm this didnt really make any sense to me.

This recently redone Embassy Suites was beautiful! We ate a Ruth Chris and enjoyed it . The front office was NOT friendly however, even tried to refuse me my two bottles of water as a Hilton Honors member! Need to get a better front office. We did have to call maintance to get our air adjusted, and Marcus and his cohort were very very nice !
