The hotel is located in a very sketchy area. There were homeless people loitering in the hotel parking lot when we pulled in. There was no alarm clock in the room. The smoke detector was chirping when we arrived so we asked to have new batteries placed in smoke detector only to find out that someone had unplugged the smoke detector. The hotel would only give us two towels even though there were 3 people in my room. I eventually was able to get more towels after I asked the front desk and was told they didn't have any and I would have to get them from housekeeping. When housekeeping came they said they were only allowed to give me two towels and I needed to get the 3rd one from the front desk. I finally called the front desk again and someone brought me an additional towel, after I had to take a shower and use two hand towels. There was a particular room where every time you walked by you could smell marijuana. The picture on the website looked much better than the actual hotel. If there would have been a empty room anywhere in Birmingham, I would have paid to stay somewhere else but with the NCAA National tournament going on, all the surrounding hotels were booked. I had my granddaughter with me and she is 1 and a half years old. She was walking around the room without shoes and the bottoms of her feet were black. I have attached a picture of her feet after she had been walking on the carpet for about an hour.

Not good. Was not. Happy not not happy i am getting mad

Freindly staff below average room. The room was clean.

I slept on top of the covers. They were dingy in color. I was solicited for special favors from a working girl there. I was not very pleased with my stay there.

The rooms were in poor condition but the staff went above and beyond to make the stay as comfortable as possible. I won't stay there again.

fantastic staff. Nice room great bed..real comfortable

The hotel itself was located in a very undesireable location with little to choose from for dining and absolutely NO entertainment. My room was on the ground floor and all night long I was awoken with the loud sounds of the plumbing, wheeled carts and shopping carts on the sidewalk and loud voices outside. The room was not clean, especially the bathroom. This is by far the worst Days Inn I've ever seen in my life. Filthy! There was dirt, dust and even a toenail on the floor in the bathroom. HORRIBLE HOUSEKEEPING!!

attendant told me that orbitz over booked and did not get the room that i reserved. sink was cracked. the bathroom was very small and lid was old and dirty. would not wish this hotel on any one...

Everything worked out just fine. No problems to speak of, no thrills event

Nice clean roomy hotel. Nice free breakfast. would stay again

needed to be upgraded. cheap rates but old rooms and old tv's, cable was fuzzy, onlyy 26 channels.

My stay was horrible....I will bever stay in this hotel again.

This hotel seemed old and delapidated. It looked like the staff did the best it could with a really old facility. I really believe a Motel 6 would have been newer and better. I would not recommend this hotel to friends (maybe to family I don't like).

room was extremely dirty ,floor not vaccumed ,beds not made, coffee spills on table and dresser, no management on location, did not get room we were quoted, would not move us had to talk to manager in morning, said could not do any thing cause bought on line

It was realy nice

Would NOT recommend staying at this hotel. Our linens looked like they had not been changed. All the pillowcases and sheets were stained - we had to sleep on top of the blanket. The room was small, crowded and not very clean. We were right beside the railroad tracks and trains whistled ALL NIGHT. We were also close to an emergency area, because we heard sirens from ambulances ALL NIGHT. NO ONE GOT ANY SLEEP. And when we complained about condition of the room/linens, management did not care and did not offer to make any compensation. We will NEVER stay here again. I would give this place zero stars if it was possible.

Reservation did not specific non-smoking room and in fact Check-In Attendant indicated we were lucky she happened to have a non-smoking room available. Also water was not hot and the towels were very sub standard.

First of all the door,it was very hard to open and close, is in need of work, the room was in great need of some cleaning, mold was on the nightstand, the room needed to be aired out , the bathroom needed an exaust fan. The hot water there was none, just luke warm.. also I saw ..baby roaches at the Breakfast bar... soooooo I will probably look for cleaner room next time.

It was ok

The room was not properly cleaned... Linens were stained & there was hair in the bath tub... The surrounding neighborhood was very intimidating & unsafe... I was not please at all with the hotel.
