Still one of my favorite hotels, They improved a lot of things, new rooms, new apartments but the same amazing view! I highly recommend. Don't miss the tast of berber tajines. the boat tour to see a huge part of the lake and the dinner on the island. Every thing was just perfect. Thank you for this amazing experience once again, i won't hesitate to come back.
We have spent a night at this hotel in March with a group of friends. We booked months in advance and were greeted nicely. There was only two staff, one at reception and one at the bar. Issues started when we received our rooms. Two did not have hot water so they ran around trying to change them. They asked us to follow them to the new room but then the key would not open it. Although most of the rooms are quite ok, some of ours were actually very poor. Wall all stained, the rooms smelling of damp and the showers in a really poor state, all rusted. Although they confirm they do have a license to sell alcohol, they did not have any as "the alcohol manager" was on holiday. The bar staff organises the restaurant and mixed the orders up. Some of the food was cold by the time they served it. Breakfast is also very poor, with not much choice and parties all dry. Overall a very disappointing experience, considering all the places we have been in Morocco, in terms of pricing, hospitality and service.
after a long long day driving to this amazing destination "ben ouidane" .. we did not reserved any hotel before which is a big mistake to do .. but fortunately choosing this Hotel was the best happy ending of that day. friendly staff .. amazing rooms with extraordinary view. and what i could not forget is the "tajine of meat" suggested by the manger .. it was so deliocious. thank you for your hospitality .. i wish coming back soon.
Just stayed here for 2 nights, believe me, that was too long! Despite a fairly nice location overlooking the lake, it’s dark and dingy, unclean, unfinished and uninviting. Lots of steps to negotiate to get to rooms etc. Staff don’t converse unless you want to part with your money. Dining room roof leaks when raining, rooms were cold, mouldy with wires hanging out of electrical appliances. Power keeps tripping out anyway! Don’t really cater for multi nationals as nothing is translated including the menu, so you don’t know what you’re eating! Looks the dogs danglies on the website but there’s lots of work to do here to make it habitable. Couldn’t wait to leave.... simply awful! Won’t be back!
We have just come back from a fishing trip with Morocco Crap this hotel looked very good on the Facebook page of Morocco Crap but it's amazing how lighting the place up and taking pictures can make it look a lot better than it is. It does not cater for English anglers or English people about one person speaks English the restaurant menu is all in French and the waiters speaks no English. It took us about 10 min to try and go through the menu with him and ended up lime everyone else with lemon Chicken ??? The rooms are full of mould freezing cold we had to be moved after the shower heater was in bits . To sum it up the place is a He'll Hole not as crooks on Morocco Crap sites.
We spend à Nice week-end with very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and rich Morroccan traditional breakfast. Best rooms are the one down by the Pool level. Prior booking would be better due to the high demand.
after a loooong journey we were lucky to arrive at hotel bin el ouidane, we enjoyed our stay at every last services in the hotel we stood a whole night chatting with Mohamed (rialto) the head security of the hotel he showed us the special places of the hotel along the day with ofcourse the best receptionist Lahcen who gave us plenty of help to go around the great place of bin ouidane ... we will go back soon for sure ... peace
Wonderful views, great views over the lake, very pleasant pool, lovely rooms and super friendly staff! I stayed here with four friends, touring Maroc and we were so lucky to find this place. They even had some cold beers and the food was great.
This hotel is beautiful and well situated on a hill in the Atlas Mountains overlooking the lake with a wonderful swimming pool that is so refreshing at the end of a hot day. Unfortunately the air con was so loud that we had to turn it off and the room so hot we could hardly sleep
While touring in Morocco came across this hidden gem. What a wonderful place, rest relaxation, great service, stunning scenery, amazing food. suffice to say did not want to leave, we will definitely be returning and using the hotel as a base to do more exploring of the region.
