Front Desk agent Sharon was very impressive in her professionalism and pleasant demeanor. Also very helpful with information about the area, and a good sense of humor! Support staff also seem attentive and pleasant. The room is pretty clean, maybe needs a slightly better vacuum cleaner ! Toilet works well, water gets hot quickly, TV is big and has lots of options. Nice little microwave and fridge. Proximity to shopping and eating options is convenient. The surrounding businesses are kind of crowded into a small confines so you feel a bit closed in when maneuvering out of the facility. The place is pretty quiet even on a Saturday night. All together, nice motel and very fairly priced with pleasant staff and clean amenities. I'd come back again !

5/5 – Comfortable Stay with Excellent Service I stayed at the Locomotive Inn in Laurel, MT on August 16, 2025, and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. We booked a standard room with two queen beds, and it was perfect for our needs. The front desk staff was exceptional, especially considering we checked in around 11 pm. They were welcoming and efficient, which was greatly appreciated after a long day of travel. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. The beds were soft yet incredibly supportive, and the pillows were just right — I honestly had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a while. When I first walked in, I did notice a slightly old smell, but it wasn’t strong or bothersome and quickly faded into the background. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this hotel to others looking for a restful night in the Laurel area. Five stars!

The staff was friendly and the room clean. The complimentary breakfast was better than expected: Egg Omelettes, sausages, biscuits and gravy (all needed to be heated up in MW) plus great belgian waffle maker, juice and coffee. Note: there is not a pool - that was removed and the space turned into a conference room - BUT their online information still lists the pool. The motel is near the railroad tracks so train noise is present ocassionally. Very convenient location just a few blocks off the freeway.
