This is your house if you are looking to experience the beauty of the rugid Montana landscape just minutes outside of Billings, while in a uniquely designed tiny home. The Farmhouse Cottage @ Old Pine Retreats is a rustic, farmhouse themed home that is loaded with breathtaking views. Guests can take in the landscape next the wall of windows and fireplace in the living room or enjoy a meal with friends on the main level deck. If this isn't enough, there is a roof-top deck that is sure to please!

Old Pine Retreats mission is to create space for guests to Retreat, Rest and Restore. Our core values include: Accessibility, Beauty, Solitude and Slow Time.

The Farmhouse Cottage at Old Pine Retreats is a newly built house (2024) that is located in the Lockwood area just minutes outside of Billings! This house is located 15 minutes from MetraPark Arena, 20 minutes from both hospitals and downtown Billings, as well as 25 minutes to the Zoo and Shiloh Crossing. The best part is that you will feel like you are in the middle of a remote forest.

The last 2 miles of road to the house is a dirt road. The road is steep and can get muddy in spots. We recommend vehicles with all-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive capabilities. During the winter months, 4 wheel drive will be essential. Due to limited parking spots, vehicles with trailers are not allowed.

This house is one of three that make up Old Pine Retreats. Each house is approximately 100 yards apart from each other. However, guests will hardly see the neighboring houses as the trees and design of each house is such that guests will have your own private space.

The additional 3 houses on the property (1027, 1029 and 1018 Restoration Way) are the hosts' private homes. These houses are also situated to provide privacy for each of the guest houses. Hosts are available for any guest needs during their stay.

The Farmhouse Cottage has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The upstairs bedroom comes with desk for a work space, a mini fridge, and access to the rooftop deck. There is also a large main level deck featuring furniture and a fire pit. The house has a full kitchen that is fully stocked and a living room that includes a gas fireplace. There is radiant heating throughout the house and mini splits in each room for cooling.

Parking is limited. There is a max of 2 vehicle spaces.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

So peaceful for my fathers short term recovery. Minimal noise, you can faintly hear the truck traffic occasionally from the interstate. You would think you were in the mountains. Beautiful, very clean, outstanding decks for outdoor enjoyment with propane firepits. Very considerate tobtge upstairs guests with a small extra frig & your own coffee maker. Very lovely farmhouse interior & exterior design. A little complicated to find butvowners directions & Google were spot on. A really nice property!!!!

Solitude near the city

Beautiful location, offering a peaceful retreat only 20 minutes or so from Billings. We enjoyed both decks and the fact that this house offers lots of privacy inside and outside. Clean, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed, this house is a treat! Timely, accurate information from our host, too. We look forward to staying here again soon!
