Beautiful place and backyard. Hot water was a huge issue. We were a party of 6. First night no hot water, they sent out a Tech to fix the issue, second day we had hot water and woke up on the third day to no hot water. Currently waiting for resolution from the management team.

The house was as good as we hoped it would be. This was our first time using a vacation rental service. We liked that it is very pet friendly, near the park, and very peaceful and quiet. We plan to book it again in the future.

We liked the Nature Preserve out the back of the yard. Even saw a Coyote walking thru the high grass! Lots of options for eating, great Knick-knack shops. The house was clean & well stocked.

perfect house for a family vacation

We had such a great time at the Ginger Lodge. We were travelling with 4 kids and 2 dogs. The house was welcoming and clean, we found everything we needed and more. The kids had a lot of fun playing board games, darts. The pool table was everybody's favorite. The location was great too, in a quiet neighborhood very close to the lake. I highly recommend this property to any family or group of friends.

Needs a little work, but still a great place

Went for my son’s 13th bday. It was really great. Had an issue w the spa but someone came out right away to help. It was a little difficult to get ahold of the host when we needed them, but we ended up talking with them and it worked out. One of the recliners on the edge of the couch doesn’t work so it needs to be fixed. Also the pool tables edge needs to be redone as it’s beat up and the balls don’t shoot off the way they should. One more thing.. my son was so looking forward to staying on the top bunk, but there was a ceiling fan. He is a kid that gets hot and uses a ceiling fan, but where the bunk is located; safety is an issue. If he sat up and the fan was on, he would have def been hit by the fan.. besides all of that (I know it seems like a lot).. we had a great time. Place was beautiful.

Great cabin close to the Lake and to the Village

The Ginger Lodge was exactly as shown in pictures. It was a very comfortable, well stocked cabin with comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood close to the lake, also a short walk to the Park or to town. I liked the view out the back with no one directly behind you. The cabin was very clean. I would definitely stay there again.

Relaxing and fun!

There were so many fun activities to do at the house like play pool, cornhole, sit around the fire, and of course the spa! The couch was huge and comfy and everyone slept great in their rooms. So so happy we chose this place.

Quick getaway

Wanted a quick getaway for the weekend that would be great for teenagers and a dog. The lodge was great! There was a pool table, which we played as a family non-stop, and arcade. The backyard was large enough for the dog and they supplied you with Horseshoe, bean bag toss and darts. There was a hot tub to unwind. The lodge was near the lake, parks, places to eat. We visited a Marshland that was not too far and the view was amazing. Great place to unwind, listen to birds, and the smell of the trees were amazing.

Great place- wish we could have stayed longer!

Great place for a family with a dog. So many fun features- video games, corn hole, hot tub, darts, horseshoe, board games. And when they say dog friendly they aren’t kidding- bowls, kennel, beds and dog treats at your disposal. The location was great and we were able to walk to lunch and dinner. Would definitely stay here again.

Home away from Home

We really loved this house and would try to stay again in the future. It had everything we needed to cook home meals, to hang out and play games, or just to relax on the couch and watch TV. I especially enjoyed sitting in the back watching the animal activity in the protected meadow while enjoying my French press coffee. You will be very happy here.
