Do not book if you have children under 5 years old. I did not actually stay here. I purchased a one night stay through Expedia. Within 10 minutes the bed and breakfast called me directly to confirm my arrival time. I informed them that I have small children. The gentleman stated they do not allow children under 5. i did not see this on the listing prior to booking the one night stay. I gave five stars because he was able to quickly help me get a refund even though it was listed as non-refundable.

I can’t wait to return to my home away from home I loved this place. The moment I walked through the door I felt right at home. I want to go back and relax on the veranda again. So pretty and my room was like a dream.

As a true bed & breakfast, the stay was fantastic. The food was excellent - omelets, french toast, fresh fruit yogurts, etc. all served out on the patio for a beautiful start to the day. The room was comfortable and cozy. And they truly are pet-friendly. We were able to bring our little dog with us and had a nice, relaxing weekend.

As our first experience at a Bed & Breakfast, we were spoiled! Darrin and Amy were incredible hosts! The place was clean, full of things to do and really cool antiques, we could have stayed in our whole trip if we wanted to! The hosts even served us breakfast! Can't say enough about our stay. If you are planning to be in Big Bear, we highly recommend staying at the Gold Mountain Manor!
