I stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip. I checked in around midnight. It was a breeze - they were running on capacity so I was checked into a 2 bedroom suite. Great layout :) but I didn't use both the bedrooms. Parking is free and I didn't have any issues finding parking - my place of work in Rockville was just a 15 minute drive away. They do serve breakfast every morning though I didn't have the time to eat. The market pantry was stocked for basic supplies. The rooms all come with a kitchen, full fridge, microwave, etc. So it is convenient for folks staying longer. I had one complaint - the bathroom had bug problems. I saw a spider and some bugs in the bathtub and the next day I saw ants, I don't know if it was a problem due to being on the 1st floor.

Checkin in was quick and rate was good for the area, $160/night. Building my room was in was musty and smelled strongly of Lysol when you walked into the hallway. The room was large but somewhat dated, AC for some reason put out a lot of moisture causing the sheets to feel damp, it was not humid outside. Bathroom needed to be cleaned better, leftover hair in the tub. A note from the staff left for the previous guest leads me to believe room cleaning is not quite as effective as it could be. Location was good but would look around for another hotel before staying here again.

During multiple trips to Gaithersburg, I have stayed for more than a month in this hotel. It's near to the old historic city of Gaithersburg, the park and ride to BWI is also at walking distance. I did not have a Car and it helped very much that the Shady Grove Metro station is just a few miles away from here. Rooms are clean, the staff is very pleasant, they even helped me planning my travels to other cities during my initial trips to the USA. The attached kitchen was more than sufficient for me to occasionally cook egg curry and rice. Overall, my stays here have been comfortable and pleasant.

Nice clean place. This time we had 2 adjoing rooms and had the grandkids with us. Often we get a 2 bedroom suite. Even the 1 bedroom suite is nice. The free breakfast is adequate. But the place itself and the staff are a real joy. Consistently, every time. Lots of food places and shopping within a few miles of the hotel.

We enjoyed the comfortable room with sofa, queen bed and small kitchen. It was cozy and just perfect for our needs. The breakfast was good and convenient. Warm cookies are served at 7 pm -- don't miss them! Some repair work is needed -- the drapes are falling apart but overall the place is in good shape. We will stay here again. Has laundry facilities. Appears to have mostly business people staying. Free WiFi and nice desk. Would like to see some king beds added.

I only stayed for one night, so I have a pretty limited review, but I can leave a few little tidbits. Check-in was great; the hotel staff was very friendly and efficient. I found it odd that the desk attendant did not confirm my stay (one night) or the rate, but other than that, it was smooth and efficient. The lobby has a small store for snacks and there was fresh lemonade and cookies. Nice touch. The grounds were very clean and well-kept. Made a very nice first impression. The room was very clean as well. I had a wonderful one-night stay and would stay here again if I'm in the area. I stayed in room 206 and it was nice and quiet. But then again, the hotel was not very full. I did hear some voices in the room next door, but nothing too distracting. Considering how close this hotel is to the highway, there was no highway noise. The only thing I heard in the morning, were the birds outside. Small kitchenette had everything you need and was very clean. The closet was HUGE, for a hotel and it also had a safe. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful stay!

We checked in a Thursday night around 9pm. We told the young man that we need to change our reservation...leaving Sunday instead of Monday. He told us that he was changing it...no problem. He read it back to us, and it was correct. He took our credit card for incidentals, no worries. Fast forward to Sat...2pm-ish, as we are touring the Air & Space Museum before having to return to the hotel to get ready for a rehearsal dinner. I let it go to voicemail, since I didn't recognize the number. I listened to the voicemail, to hear an employee asking me when we were checking out of the hotel, since we were supposed to be out be 12noon. I called them back, and was transferred around because I refused to allow them to "add Sat night as an additional reservation". I had it on my Marriott app that we were booked at a certain rate...and they wanted to raise it. Enter Jaleesa. The angels sang when she entered the room. Jaleesa listened to my concerns and fixed. She is an awesome member of this hotel's team. I would stay here again due to the clean rooms, the quietness in the evening....but only if Jaleesa is still there!!!

Not far from a major highway but far enough you don't get the road noise. Stayed for one night. Very pleasant. Room was very clean and quiet as mentioned previously. They have warm, fresh baked cookies at registration! Always a plus! Separate buildings connected by a short walk across the parking lot allow additional capacity without any real hassle unless it's pouring rain. Thankfully my arrival was only met with a gentle sprinkle. Breakfast is included with your room rate. Also a plus when you don't know the area well. Another bonus is that all the rooms have a small full kitchen AND they offer outside grilling at the main patio which you don't often see in a hotel property. If you're staying longer than I was and you like to grill your own meals, this could save you enough on restaurant costs to cover the extra room cost over significantly lower accommodations elsewhere.

With Marriott we had a different expectation. But this one failed to be just a regular one. Breakfast menu does not change. Stays same like a basic hotel next door. It claims to have full kitchen but it did not have basic stuff like oven trays and boxes with lid to store food in fridge. No nonstick pans. The cooking gas is too small as u may see in my pic. The room size offered to us at least was too small. The windows usually open full in kitchen room for smoke to move out but this one does open beyond 1 inch or so. The cleaning people did not come to clean until 2 days and after they came, my sofa bed was still a bed and not turned back and there were no dishes on gas stove still that was not cleaned properly. Last of all but not the least which was a major reason for the rating is the noise issue. I was there for 4 days and could not sleep even a single night properly due to noise from upper room. I complained every night but in vain. It left me in pain and my trip is ruined with my health due to lack of sleep continuously for 3 nights. So, i would not recommend anyone for this particular hotel. Location wise i would say its good but there are more choices in a block away distance.

This is our 3rd stay at this property. It is a long term residence type property. Location is great for us to visit kids and grand kids living between Bethesda and Gaithersburg. Lots of places to eat and shop in the area. This is a newer hotel. Property and rooms are kept in excellent shape. Clean. Light, simple breakfast supplied daily. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. This year Marriott raised the category on this hotel from a 1 to a 2, so it cost a few more points to stay here, if you are using points...but worth it. The manager is accessible and he allowed us to have a little birthday party, for my wife, in the breakfast room, in the mid afternoon, when it was not being used. He did not have to do this, but he did.....of course, we left it spotless. But, just another instance of how he and the hotel went out of the way for us. And the staff enjoyed an entire extra tray of sandwiches and wings thanks to the nearby Giant Grocery store. We really enjoy this place and if this type of hotel is what you are looking for, we highly recommend a stay here.
