Nice stay

The experience was okay. The room appeared to be clean, but there were used bottles of the lotions and body wash in the bathroom, so it did make me a bit concerned about how well they cleaned. There were also stains on the couch. The TV only had a few channels, Netflix didn’t work at all, and the tv doesn’t allow you to connect your device so that was pretty inconvenient. You can kinda hear noises from other rooms and outside but that wasn’t too much of a problem for me. Overall, it was an okay experience but not good enough to want to revisit.

I just finished a perfectly nice 3-night stay. The location couldn’t be beat; there’s a plethora of restaurants and shops, even a Starbucks just a stone’s throw away. Because of covid, amenities were far and between, which I was okay with. There was no daily housekeeping, but the maids gladly exchanged towels and replenished soaps upon request. The hotel has a bar/restaurant that was open, but I never saw anyone eating there. It was convenient to pick up a glass of wine from the bar and bring it back to the room after a long day. I had a standard room, no views to right home about, but it didn’t bother me. The heat/AC worked quickly and well, it was perhaps a bit loud; I had to use both thanks to some funky spring weather. The shower had great water pressure and could get scorching hot if you wanted it (no bathtub). The mini-fridge was empty, but I loved that it was a small, pull-out style fridge that you could easily store large bottles of water and food. Thank you to Chantal for always being cheery and helpful, you really perked this otherwise empty hotel up. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone who’s visiting the area and doesn’t want a typical business feel (like the other Hilton down the street).

The room was clean and I liked the layout. The common areas are nice. I could not get comfortable with the pillows and they only had one type.

Location is great as there are many restaurants and shops right around it. Also within close proximity to Metro. Would be nice if there was a pool. This is no Embassy Suites. Breakfast buffet is not a good value. Nightly tastings st the bar were just a single shot glass of beer.

Great decor. Nice free buffet breakfast. Nearby NIH. Great experience overall.
