I booked a suite here and was amazed at how beautifully appointed it was, the antique furniture, the very spacious and elegant floor plan. A large furnished living room with work/desk area as well, an entry hall with a coffee bar area built in before arriving in the living area, large double doors between that and the master bedroom area, a huge dressing room with triple closet storage area and antique style dressing table, 2 flat screen televisions (bedroom and living room), floor to ceiling views of the city, very nice, a gorgeous huge marble bathroom with separate shower, powder room, huge bathtub, and all the amenities. Very very nice, worth of the 5th star. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars here was simply the attitude of the concierge staff at the desk. One young woman was very nice and helpful and every other time we asked for information or assistance, we got the haughty, look down your nose thing that I can't stand in places like this. I have stayed in many 5 star and up properties around the world, and to put up with that in a place like that is not only unacceptable, it is unnecessary. If I visit Berlin again I will choose the Adlon or perhaps the Sofitel, or another luxury hotel. The breakfast room, Fischers Fritz, the Michelin starred dinner restaurant on the premises, was quite beautiful and well appointed, but breakfast was a little hit or miss and not as attentive as you would think or as plentiful as the Four Seasons Gresham Palace in Budapest where I had just been. That said it was very nice and for 415 euro a night considering the space and the elegance of our suite, it was worth the money spent. But the attitude at the desk each time was very offputting and annoying and spoiled the special nature of my stay. The location was excellent, easy to get to most places of interest either on foot or by taxi.

We loved staying here. It's classy but comfortable. We were upgraded to a spacious suite and even though we arrived early in the morning, our room was ready by 10 a.m. The staff was wonderfully attentive and one of the doormen, Ekim, even drove us to the synagogue when he couldn't hail a cab for us.

Excellent in every way. Beautifully upgraded old building in central location. Friendly staff who couldn't do enough for their guests. Room was very well thought out, well equipped with all we needed for a very comfortable week. Lovely toiletries. Breakfasts provided plenty of choice, all very good quality. We couldn't think of anything that would improve this hotel. A memorable experience.

Beautiful room, exceptional breakfast service and a perfect location for walking to all the major sites. The breakfast staff also kindly got us gluten free bread. I cannot really add to the other complimentary comments. Well worth it and highly recommended.

I was on business travel and was booked in this hotel as the event was taking place within it. This is probably one of the best hotels i experienced- super service, luxury. Room was just a dream. Breakfast on offer was quite original from the usual hotels- even though there are various options with quite high price ranges. Highly recommended for a romantic trip.

This hotel is in a perfect location, beautifully designed and the staff are trained to meet guest's every expectation. There is nowhere else I would choose in preference to this great establishment. The rooms are large with a wonderful bathroom and separate shower and the public areas are truly beautiful. Clearly the view is not amazing but since once spends most of the time out in the city, this is not a disaster.

We arrived at the Regent Hotel in Berlin one day before our Opera Festival Tour with Martin Randall Tours began on May 30.2017. We stayed for an extra week on our own after the tour ended, hence a total of two weeks. The focus of every employee was to make sure all of their guests needs were met. Everyday we were politely greeted at the door, always being asked if there was anything we needed. The front desk staff was very helpful. The Concierge team consisting of Stefan, Sandra and Julien was outstanding. Each day they were ready and willing to help me with directions or reservations. They were not only extremely professional but also were extraordinarily kind and pleasant. Sandra gave me great recommendations and helped secure difficult reservations. Thank you so much Sandra, you are amazing! Stefan the head of the Concierge team was most patient and professional. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is down the street from the beautiful Gendarmenmarkt Square. We had the opportunity to attend a memorable concert at the Konerthaus, the concert Hall located between the two churches. I found Temma a natural food store, next to a supermarket a few blocks away. You can walk to many restaurants and chocolate shop. We are so grateful for the warm welcome we received on our first trip to Berlin. Hopefully we will be back next year.

What more can I say ? Excellent in every way. The breakfast service was impeccable and the staff anticipated every need. Your doorman Mahmoud Ahmed merits a special mention: helpful, smiling and welcoming. On the occasion that we had to be at a particular venue in Berlin, he made arrangements, so that we arrived spot on time. Thank you for that kind gesture.

Rooms are impeccable and they offer a free upgrade if there's rooms avaliable. Nice beds. If you have a room facing the inner yard the nearby apartments can make a lot of noise. Breakfast is expensive and not worth it, if it's included at the price well then fine, but I would never pay almost 40 euro for that. The hot dishes all contain egg in some form. You can preorder if you have some sort of special needs, but it would be nice if there was less eggdishes on the menu. Service is friendly and nice.

This is a five star hotel and it lives up to it. The accommodations were great and the staff was very friendly. The location to the Berlin sites was very good. I would recommend this hotel on your visit to Berlin.
