This is one of the most luxurious hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel is decorated in Louis XIV style from the most luxurios materials. The rooms are spacious and wonderfully furnished. Staff really pay attention to details. We stayed with our nineteen months old and on the bed we could find all the neccessities for her from dipers to body lotion for babies. The hotels location is perfect starting point if you are for the first time in Berlin, as all the sights are easily approachable by walk. Also visit two Michelin stars restaurant in hotel.

This is a perfect, elegant place to stay to visit Berlin. It is within walking distance to numerous, wonderful restaurants and many historical points of interest. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and willing to take time to help you plan your day with recommendations for points of interest, transportation, restaurants, etc... and offered us a big umbrella to take on drizzly days. Taxis are available within seconds and you definitely will feel pampered. The rooms are very spacious, tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. The beds are very comfortable. We especially appreciated the coffee maker in the room that made good coffee! We chose not to include the breakfast so that we could enjoy a variety of close by breakfast places as we walked around town. There are many wonderful restaurants close by so enjoy the walk and wide variety of cuisine. We also thoroughly enjoyed the hotel lounge which is very comfortable and lovely for an after dinner drink after a day of touring the city-great deserts too! The hop on/off bus is close by and highly recommended for a new tourist like we were. It was a great way to get to know Berlin and all the main tourist sites. We also highly recommend The One performance at the Palast Berlin for a fun, evening event. Like so many places, this is an easy, lovely walk from the hotel too. I will definitely choose to stay here again.

second time for my wife and i to stay in Regent Berlin, you can not compare such Hotel with any other from location, service, room size, decoration and in general the very warm atmosphere from the minute you step out of the car cleanliness is something to highlight where you see everything spotlessly clean from the lobby to the room Staff at Regent is the greatest plus for the hotel with every aspect from check in to check out I am glad we had the chance to stay at Regent Berlin once more and looking forward to my next visit

The Regent just does everything right. The front desk staff is great. The restaurant is superb--breakfast, lunch or dinner. The rooms are incredibly spacious and the location is perfect. This is quiet luxury at its best.

Spectacular mini suite accommodation. Everything was so perfect that we wondered if we were in a regular guest accommodation or on a movie set. Everything was meticulously maintained and the service could not have been better. The front desk , room service, the concierge and housekeeping were all outstanding. The hotel's location is prime and for the quality of the accommodations and high degree of service The Regent is an excellent value. I would highly recommend The Regent without reservation. When we visit Berlin again we would not consider staying anywhere else.

A fantastic hotel in one of the most central parts of Berlin. Ideally suited to seeing most of the main sights. Beautifully decorated, spacious rooms. Bathrooms had shower / bath, good quality toiletries and illuminated magnifying mirror. There was also a capsulated coffee machine and mini bar. The Wi-fi was good with only a few short ‘no reception’ periods during our 5 day stay. Excellent small private gym in basement with good quality equipment. There was also a sauna and spa. If the view from your room is important, perhaps not the best hotel, but there is little the hotel could do to change this. Breakfast is probably the most expensive we have come across in all of our travels at €39 per person. It was certainly good and there was a nice professional feel about it, but I think it is a matter of personal opinion if one would be willing to pay this, or go out of the hotel to find a nearby cafe. In spite of the cost, breakfast seemed quite busy every morning, perhaps business people that put it down as expenses. Every single member of staff was excellent - the cleaners, door staff, reception and waiters. All contributed to the ‘feel good’ factor in this hotel. Next time in Berlin, we would certainly return here.

This place is a 10! I am a travel agent, so I travel often and have a good understanding qualifies as the best - this property is it. Not only is it in a GREAT location, the hotel is beautiful, rooms are spacious, and the staff is amazing. Breakfast is one of the best we’ve had. Berlin is a fabulous city and this is THE best place to stay. I will be referring all my clients here!

The hotel is excellently located in a really nice part of Berlin. Our room [deluxe double] was spacious and comfortable but had furniture and decor that was just beginning to need a refresh. In contrast the bathroom was good: huge, well laid out and sparking clean. The hotel lobby and shiny marble tea/coffee lounge are all over highly polished marble but lack any local touches. The hotel has a film about itself on their TV channels which depicted the hotel in a grossly conceited manner e.g. offering eitiquette lessons for eight year olds, delivering vol-au- vents in shape of bones for dogs left in hotel rooms, shy making service of afternoon tea by someone called a 'tea master' and a vulgar emphasis on celebrity guests. These delusions of grandeur are not to our taste and indeed not matched by the service we received which was entirely proper but, apart from the cheerful 'car master'/doorman, was not particularly attentive or warm and welcoming. We therefore chose not to use the hotel's bar, tea lounge, breakfast room etc at all. This was no sacrifice as there are many stylish, friendly and more genuine places to spend time within a few seconds walk. So stay for the fabulous location and the general level of comfort but don't expect a class act.

As we checked in Julian, at reception was the first excellent thing we came across. He showed us to our room, and during the rest of the week was helpful with just about everything. The concierge was also very helpful. Our room was excellently appointed, and the bathroom was what one expects in a luxury hotel. Breakfast is very good, and gluten free is available, but it is best to give them a days notice. The location is terrific, and actually quiet. Walking distance to a lot of the main sights, convenient to the U-Bahn, and taxis were always available. Of course as with seemingly all hotels, it was impossible to set the room temperature to a cool enough degree. Luckily, we had a form of suite that allowed us to open the sitting room window at night, yet be insulated from street noise--if there was any.

It's been a while (and I do travel a lot) I have not stayed in such a real 5-stars hotel. Immediately before this stay, I spent 5 nights at Hilton Berlin next door (for business) which is also a 5-stars...but a world between them. From check-in to room service to cleaning, toiletries, room and bathroom, details that make a difference such as a daily complimentary Evian, location...impeccable! The only caveat is the many hotels nowadays not a real king/queen bed size but 2 small twins put together so that you end up sleeping on one side because really uncomfortable to sleep in the middle where the 2 beds join. Also, a larger safe for the laptop would be useful.
