We stayed here 4 weeks ago with friends for 3 nights. It was only a 15 minute walk from Berlin Zoo station to the hotel. Check in was quick and we were allocated rooms on the 6th floor. Our room overlooked the road but it was very quite and we were never disturbed by traffic noise. The room was spacious and clean. Excellent shower in the bathroom and a comfy bed. Breakfast was very good with a large choice of both hot and cold food, cereals, pastries etc on offer. Loved the sausage meatballs and scrambled eggs. The hotel is ideally placed for exploring Berlin as two U Burn stations are only a 5 minute walk either left or right from the hotel. Once we new are bearings we walked from the hotel to the Victory Monument, which was only a 15 minute walk, onto the Brandenburg Gate. This was another 15 minute walk alongside the Tielder Garden Park. Berlin is easy to explore with many interesting sights. The food is very good and the beer a delight. I would stay at the Ivsberg Premium Hotel again when visiting Berlin.

Very pleased with our choice of hotel in August 2017. We were allocated room 245 on the second of five floors with views over the main street. The room was very quiet once we closed the windows. The room had a free safe and television. The mini bar fridge had space for some extra drinks. Reception staff were very helpful and a Lidl shop just down the street provided for everything. There is 1 hour free wi-fi per device, per day in the reception area. The hotel is centrally located with underground stations a short walk away. Berlin Zoo is a 15 minute walk and highly recommended. Breakfast is very nice with some variation daily, and starts at 06.30 if you need an early start. We would certainly return as we cannot fault this hotel and the service it provides.

Have visited Berlin a number of times in the last few years for short weekend breaks (love the city!) and stayed at this hotel for the first time last weekend. We always stay in this area as it is an excellent central location for visiting the main areas and again it did not disappoint. Having read a couple of recent negative reviews i was a little concerned about our hotel choice but my fears were unfounded all aspects of the hotel were excellent except one which is the lack of a reliable WiFi in the rooms although i was assured that this is being sorted by their technicians at the moment. If this had been good i would have given the hotel 5 stars all other aspects: the breakfast, the staff, the environment and in particular the rooms were outstanding. We particularly appreciated the size of the room, its quietness (we requested a rear facing room and they had this ready for us when we arrived) and there is a great shower room with a separate WC. all in all i would thoroughly recommend this hotel - just the WiFi issue to sort!

Ivbergs Premium Hotel have great location in the centre of Berlin. About 5 minutes walking distance to Nollendorfpaltz underground station, and maybe 15 minutes walking from Berlin Zoo. Check in was quick and easy, reception staff polite and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious with comfortable bed and nice bathroom. What was missing? - NO Free Wi-Fi access. Hotel is selling internet access for 5Euro for 24h.

I very rarely have any problems when travelling overseas, and if i do, they are usually dealt with in a professional and timely manner. NOT.....at The Ivbergs Premium Hotel. During the night between 1am and 8am, my room was broken into (whilst asleep!!) and my wallet, euros and credit cards where stolen from my room. No signs of forced entry and no windows left open. So all you think about is its someone with a master key card right? As soon as we noticed, i rushed down to reception to raise my issue and the woman on reception was just ignorant and offered me no help whats so ever. I explained in my best broken German what had happened and asked to see the CCTV. I was immediately told no and they could not show me. I was handed a post-it note with the police number on. They knew I was struggling with the language and didn't offer to help. If you are staying at this hotel, please be aware.

The hotel is quite nice, a great bar with superb prices, not sure why it was always empty. The rooms are adequate, clean and the beds are very comfy. The towels are a little tread bear but the room had an excellent shower. Location wise this hotel is fine for travelling into Berlins attractions. About 10 min walk to the stations and then only a hop skip and jump into 'town'. A winner overall. Now the unacceptable part of the hotel .... its staff or should I say one member of staff. When we first arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a lovely and helpful lady, first class greeting ! during the night one of our friends had their wallet taken from their room whilst sleeping, very worrying and something you would think the hotel would like to jump on and get to the bottom of. On reporting it to the front desk a new lady was on duty, rude unhelpful to the point it was becoming quite suspicious. Denying anything had happened to them and refusing any help to them ! My friend noticed a CCTV camera right outside of their room and asked for them to look at it, again she was unwilling to help. The situation was left with the local police. Neither the hotel or the lady on front desk (Philippa or Philippe) offered any sort of apology throughout our stay. Only on seeing the nice receptionist we first met did we get any sort of apology. Overall this hotel without the incident would have been given a 4 from me, but their poor attitude and I say again, VERY suspicious behaviour with dealing with a key card break in and theft on their property left me with little choice. YOU are responsible for your guest safety !

Guess we were expecting 4 star as we know it but ivberg premium isn't. Maybe at best 2+ beds were uncomfortable and room was noisy due to traffic outside as we were front facing room. No tea/coffee making in rooms. Breakfast was basic. Location was ok for what we needed it for and underground was minutes walk. Apart from Location have stayed in nicer 3 star hotels. Home now for some sleep 😴😴😴

On this recent trip to Berlin it has to be said that restaurants and now the hotel have been pretty poor, I am already sick of writing poor reviews 😢 We last stayed here 2 years ago and enjoyed the experience, most of all the vast breakfast available.... oh boy have things changed! Reception: lucky to even get an acknowledgement by the staff in reception, never witnessed a smile. It must be really painful working at this hotel. On returning from completing the marathon in our ponchos it was clear we had run it and not even eye contact from reception nevermind a “Congratulations”. I was left feeling “They don’t care, therefore I don’t care about returning!”. Breakfast: heavily understaffed(staff working very hard and fast), food regularly empty, constant queueing for the single coffee machine, half the size of breakfast than on previous visits. Can I also point it that breakfast if not included in your room rate is €17 per person. Shocking!! Housekeeping: rooms were left in a good standard, beds well made and towels replaced as and when. Is there new management at this hotel? The breakfast team numbers have been reduced by atleast 75% of its staff! If there isn’t new management/owner perhaps it is time they did? If this hotels main clientele is coach parties then good for them but for independent tourists there are FAR better hotels to stay at!

room was comfortable and clean, lovely big and powerful shower which you don't often get in hotels.hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from the ka-de-we store where outside you can get on the hop on hop off busses to take you round berlin. we had a room at rear of hotel which suited us as it was nice and quiet away from noise of traffic . staff were friendly and helpful particularly staff in breakfast room and the barman who we found very friendly when we went in every night for our tea and coffee.we would like to thank staff for making our stay pleasant and we will definatly be back

Booked via a Groupon deal so wasn't expecting the Ritz but so pleasantly surprised. The books are lovely. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean. Staff are very friendly. Hotel is only a few minute stroll to a very nice part of Berlin. Loads of high end shops and excellent eateries. Would definitely stay here again.
