Perfect break for 3 days lovely breakfast and room tidy and clean.station 2 min walk away if back in Berlin will use again.also plenty eating places near by and supermarkets. Staff friendly and helpful

The hotel is not very old the rooms were cleaned to high standard my only problem was I was at the fornt of the hotel which overlooks Herrstr a busy 24 hr street so it was quite noisy with window open I suggest you try and request a room at the rear of the hotel.Breakfast was the usual Continental style but the area is very small compared to the number of people staying at the same time as me the UBann and bus.service is a mtter of minutes away.

Room fairly basic. No frills. Good mattress , had a good sleep. Clean room , shower was fine , would have preferred power shower. Space in shower was tight but at least had separate toilet. Didn't opt for breakfast. Hotel staff accommodating if needed anything. Weren't overly friendly, more matter of fact.

Our room was a good size with a good shower, basin and separate toilet. The bed was basic but comfortable as long as you folded the pillows in two (a common thing in German rooms). The room has air conditioning but the windows open too which is my preferred option. We were on the third floor at the front of the hotel on a main road. We were able to sleep through traffic noise until about 6.30 when a bin lorry visits. The windows all but eliminate the noise, we just choose to have a bit of Noise in order to get fresher air. Get a room at the back if you want less noise with the windows open. The bar opening seems a little erratic but there are cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. We didn't try breakfast as it's not cheap. You can get breakfast just the other side of the station entrance but we went into the centre. The lift is really small. Staff are polite and helpful and everything is kept clean.

Lovely hotel the other side of town from which I’m used to, got as part of a deal. Very happy that I did as I was able to experience a different part of Berlin with some amazing restaurants within 2 minutes walking distance. The hotel itself is very clean and perfect for a quick weekend break.

The main reason I booed this hotel is because of the proximity to the Messe, from the outside the building does not tell you much but the rooms are fairly spacious, clean and comfortable so would highly recommend the place of you are at one of the exhibitions.

Got this allocated via a groupon deal and have to say I paid £169 per person, 3nights and 4 full days including flights and breakfast so am hardly likely to moan. Front reception spoke perfect English and helped me with emailing and printing boarding passes which was a weight off my mind.breakfast simple and fine , location for underground couldn't be easier and plenty of shops and foodie places nearby.Shower excellent but duvet big enough to cover a midget which is my only negative. Advise if getting train to schoenifield is to ignore instructions in hotel as they take you to ICC which involves a bit of a walk though an underground doss down with drunks sleeping it off and some unfortunates down on there luck. Stick to the U2 to zoo, and change to r17. Would go back no problem.

Stayed for 2 nights with my brother. Basic rooms, no kettle/fridge etc but fine for a budget stay in Berlin. U Bahn and S Bahn stations near by (turn left from hotel and walk 500m to Heerstraße for a quicker journey). If you like running when you travel, turn left and just follow the straight road, plus there is parkland off the road on the left. Nice steakhouse opposite. Close to numerous shops for food and drink in your room (Aldi/Netto etc). Didn't bother with Wifi as hot 4G on my phone. Some might find it a bit far out but if you don't mind catching the train, who cares... Recommended.

I purchased a mystery tour on Groupon and was given Berlin and this hotel. The hotel is not central but just a few minutes walk to the underground so easy to get to and travel to the city centre. We bought a Berlin welcome card from the airport about €30 each for 4 days and this covered the cost of our transport to and from the airport as well as unlimited travel on buses, trams and underground. Also you get discounts on entrances to many attractions and restaurants. We arrived early as we had an early flight and our room was ready which was great and much appreciated. We had a room on the 3rd floor and the room was a good size. The double bed was two separate mattresses and two very thin duvets that weren't quite single size. The pillows too were very thin but reception gave us two more. The room was clean. There was a small Tv with just one english speaking channel BBC world news. No coffee tea kettle etc and no iron. No Wi-Fi. The shower was fantastic and the room clean. No problems with noise. Breakfast pretty much average but nice juice. All in all we got this at such a good price and I would stay here again if I come back to Berlin.

Bargain hotel, strange location. Rooms were clean, although no lock on toilet door. Showers were amazing. Disappointed that you had to pay 20 euros for a wifi that was extremely unrealiable, not worth the money. Breakfasts were of a reasonable standard, staff were very attentive. Take you own pillow, as the ones provided were really uncomfortable.
