For a low price, it was excellent. It cannot be compared to a much more costly hotel, but I found the hotel tidy and reasonably clean. No noise from other rooms or traffic, and free public parking at least on the Sunday that I stayed. It's not been renovated in this century, so things look a bit dated - and room sofa was a bit worn - but that's fully acceptable for the price I paid. I don't mind returning to this hotel. Had WiFi in all places I tried in the hotel. Breakfast was good, not a big selection as there were not that many guests. Cereals and bread etc was available.
This hotel was bit old, the room was very simple but I had a nice stay here. The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming! The breakfast inclued and it was a basic breakfast for what you need in the Morning. I had a single room without own toilet but with shower and sink in my room. The toilet was at the corridore close to the room and very clean. The room was very simple furnished but had all I needed for few days stay. It was quiet in the hotel all the time. The hotel is located close to underground and metro stop, so it's easy to get anywhere you want. If you are not afraid a little older style I can recommend this.
* the place is run down, I think some rooms do not even have a bathroom. Saw some guy in his underwear in the hallway. Gross. * essentially no pillows. The pillow they have me I had to fold to a quarter of the size to make it somewhat usable. They are more like crepes, not pillows. * No AC and musty humid air. * Wifi did not work very well. * +1 for parking. IIRC they have about 7 spots.
Stayed one night as i had business nearby and wanted something a short walk away. This is not a luxurious 'business class' hotel but it is comfortable and clean. I booked a single room with private facilities (I read on TA before i booked that there are some rooms with shared facilities) for 61 Euros for the night incl breakfast. Stunning value. Staff all friendly and helpful. Older building and rooms though the 2nd floor (on which i was) is currently undergoing redecoration. Bed was fine. I found the pillow too soft but that's a personal thing. Bathroom clean and everything worked. A sachet of shower gel/shampoo provided. Shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. Wifi worked well in the room. Breakfast buffet is standard European fare of cold meats and cheese and pastries. No iron in room but was able to iron my kit in their laundry. Nothing not to like!
As some other reviewers have stated, this hotel is in a rather dated building. However it is very clean and is a great value for the price. The location is a little far from city center/Mitte. It's about a 5-7 min walk from the closest U-bahn stn and there isn't much in terms of good cafes/restaurants around, but it is a quiet neighborhood. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet is a good value. The rooms were a little cold for me and the radiators were only so helpful. Overall this is a nice, basic hotel that is a good value.
good price, good breakfast, clean. but everything was extremely clean, the room had good temperature, nice view, breakfast was with a nice view and with sufficient food and coffee. i would definetely go there again. Only bad thing Found a few dust bugs not because of filth, maybe because of weather.
Friendly welcome and equal service, the room was of homely comfort and in best order, the hotel is located in the heart of Berlin and close to public transport, decent breakfast buffet. Furniture and facility has a bit gotten on in years, but is tidy and well maintained. If you're looking for a reasonably priced, family-friendly accomodation without gadgets, this is your place to be.
Good worth for your money. Nice atmosphere and breakfast was good. Fresh bread every morning and different stuff to choose from. We very much liked the old vibe that the hotel has. The room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was also clean and recently renovated. We even had a balcony attached to our room with a nice view. Only downside was waking up to renovation (drilling) sounds nearby for two mornings. Service was good though, because they offered us a different room if we wanted. Over all we are very pleased with our stay and we would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel.
Stayed here in a single room for two nights. My room had toilet, shower, and sink although some appear to have a shared toilet. The sink is in located in the same room as the bed. My room was overlooking the courtyard of the hotel and surrounding buildings. The windows in the room opened and the courtyard was vert peaceful with birds chirping and the breeze blowing through the trees. The room was small by American standards, bur good-sized for European rooms. Bedding was fine. Small television. You could hear neighboring rooms come and go, as well as plumbing in adjacent rooms, although it was not bothersome, since the clientele tended to be older (30 +) and quiet. The neighborhood was residential, but close to the U6 subway line and a bus stop. There are good low-end dining options very close (Doner Kebab, Italian) for quick meals. Overall a great mid-range option for people wanting quiet and comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price.
I booked one night at Hotel Graf Pückler because it was the cheapest hotel room available for my weekend trip to Berlin. It is located in the district of Wedding which itself doesn't offer a lot, but it's only a 2-minute walk from the subway station "Reinickendorfer Str." from where you can reach all major sights within ~20 minutes. The receptionist was friendly, welcoming and answered all my questions. The room was small but clean and had old furniture and wallpaper from the 70s with a small CRT tv (didn't think I would ever see one of those again). The WiFi connection was great and guests could park their car in the backyard for only 2,50 €. The corridor was dark and had an unpleasant look and smell. The breakfast was satisfactory (regarding the price) with fresh bakery products, different spreads, fruits and cornflakes. Unfortunately they only had orange juice, coffee and black tea to offer. For a small fee you could also make yourself a sandwich to go which I found convenient. To me it was comparable to sleeping in a single room of a youth hostel. The only drawbacks were that the decoration is quite out-dated and the hotel itself does not have a "high-class appearance". The price-performance ratio was alright and overall I was satisfied with my stay at Hotel Graf Pückler.
