If you are looking for a good central boutique hotel with modern rooms and facilities this is one. But, make sure you ask for a room at the backyard (preferably top floors) because the train passes right in front of it. Do not book on lower floors looking at rails of the track because you will be disturbed by the noise. Unless, you sleep with earplugs and that doesn't bother you at all. The rooms are reasonably sized, they have wifi, TV with international channels, modern look and feel and you can manage the temperature of your room. Ideal for a short stay.

Done a lot of business travel and this is one of the better rooms and extraordinary for the price. I know Berlin is better value than a lot of cities but still... Impressive. Bring earplugs if facing the train line / s-bahn / U-Bahn. But most hotels have some noise sources... be it slamming doors, lift motors, pipes, street noise, bars. So all things considers yes U would stay there again and I had the best coffee in Berlin at "Drink your Monkey coffee" cafe a hundred metres away.

+ Perfect location in terms of transport accessibility. + Very friendly and polite staff. + Very comfortable bed . + Bathroom is very nice . - No facilities in the room to prepare coffee. - No fridge.

The hotel is at a great location, it is very clean, it has very comfortable beds and bathroom and a very pleasurable bar. Staff is very polite. Room was a little small, no closet, no fridge, no facilities in the room to prepare coffee.

Suitable hotel for a few days stay. Room and bathroom are spacious and comfortable but badly lack a closet. A good way of making it cosier would be to provide a small kettle and some tea, instant cofee, and herbal teas. Bathroom amenities are not of quality comparable with the rest of the hotel : shampoo, soap, and body lotion lack personnality to say the least. Contract a good cosmetics shop, guys. The famous railway running at 10m from the hotel is indeed a problem on the first floor, but much less going up. My room was on the 5th and trains were barely hearable. Breakfast is surprisingly good : the tables and cutlery are classy and food is quite varied and tasty. Two cons however : Coffee is made to the American taste; it could benefit from being stronger or of smellier variety. Milk served on the tables is ice-cold (safety requirement ??) and spoil whatever it is added to. Service on the front desk, maintenance, and dining room is efficient and fast. They had no problem checking me in my room at 10:00H. Central location and proximity to public transportation (esp. to/from Tegel airport) offsets many imperfections. Will stay there again if needed.

a very good hotel of design, in a good place just few meters form the s-bahn savignyplatz. many restaurants nearby, 200mt far from Kudamstr. pay attention, there is no wardrobe, just a steel bar with crutches for short stays. Receptionists speak different languages.Very clean. Our room for 2 people, was situated on the s-bahn, but quite silent. Bathroom very nice and hot, with no windows. Beds extremly confortable. wooden parquet on the floor. sweet and salty well-stocked buffet for breakfast. I surely will return back.

We had a wonderfull stay. The hotel room was Nice and modern. The staff was very friendly. Great breakfast ( kids under 12 eats for free) Lovely central location. 5 Stars! A metro station very close to The hotel. Take bus 109 directly from The AirPort, takes 25 min. Thank you!

The lobby is super nice with connection to the bar with places both outside and inside. Very nice. The rooms are ok, very nice bathrooms, very clean and with a splendid view of the square towards Kantstrasse. Breakfast is in the bar but the look in daylight is so different you cannot tell it is the same place. Good breakfast but did miss both eggs and tomato juice. Fantastic croissants though!

There is a large choice of hotels in Berlin and it is not easy on a first visit to know where to choose. Finally, after reading some reviews on TripAdvisor we chose the H'otello. As mentioned many of the reviews, the location is excellent, most notably for the proximity to the SBahn, it really is only a 2-minute walk. The hotel is not in a major tourist quarter which means that there is no hustle and bustle, it's quiet and calm in the evening and the quarter is hassle free. The hotel is modern, very clean and comfortable, the rooms are Ok in size, the bathroom was very clean, strangely though there are no cupboards for clothing. Something I found unusual were the some of the switches on the walls and next to beds, they have a Red and Green symbol which is not immediately obvious as to their usage. They can be used to call room service or to confirm various actions. I must admit that it is really not obvious. We chose not to eat in the hotel as the Savigny Platz is only a few meters away and there is a good choice of restaurants all around. I would advise to also search around the two main roads that are annexed to the hotel as there is also a good selection of small restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The hotel does not really offer a lot of amenities and I would recommend more for short stays of 2 or 3 days but not for any longer, depending on your needs of course. Would we use the hotel again, definitely, the quiet location and easy acces to the city...

This was our first visit to Berlin and we were agreeably surprised with the hotel. As stated above many of the reviews the location is good , and although our second floor room faced the SBahn , it was extremely quiet. The rooms are not large but comfortable and very clean, the bathroom was exceptionally clean which is always a good sign. We did not use any of the services in the hotel as due to its location it is very easy to have breakfast, dinner etc in any of the multiple restaurants that are very nearby. Literally there are at least 20 restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The SBahn is only a 2 minute walk so heading into town is very very easy. When we saw the multitudes of people at AlexandraPlatz we were more than pleased not to have chosen that location. The hotel is very clean, staff were very polite although lacking. It's seldom that you see anyone other that the receptionist . This is a hotel that I would use as a safe, quiet and clean location in which to sleep, it's not the kind of hotel where I would spend the day as amenities are lacking. But this is Berlin so you will easily spend your day outside.. Would I use the hotel again, yes, without hesitation.
