Just back from a weekend stay, we were there with our 2 sons aged 4 and 1.. Our room was on the 5th floor and was very spacious, everything that we needed was there. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant on both nights and it was lovely (kids eat free) which is a bonus.. not too far from the airport. We hired a car which was great and the car park in the hotel was free parking. There is a garage not too far from the hotel aswell.. We didn't use the pool as the kids had abit of a cold so opted out.. Overall it was a great stay
A lot of colleagues stay here as it's quite near our office. Yes the hotel is a bit tired looking but the room was clean, the bed was comfy, the staff were courteous and there was a good breakfast buffet. What more could you as for? Also very conveniently located for Windsor/Legoland and minutes from the M4.
Very welcoming. Room was clean and contained all that was required. Hotel has a nice swimming pool and sauna. Breakfast was great. A lot to choose from and we'll cooked. Very easy to get to. Only 15 mins by car from lego land. Didn't have to check out till noon next day.
I stayed at this hotel with my wife, daughter and her fiancé. The hotel and its staff were both excellent. The hotel's location is great for visiting Legoland, Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Palace, which is exactly what we did. We were given adjoining rooms which made life easy for us. We ate during the day so didn't make use of the restaurant in the evening. Instead we spent a very relaxing evening in the swimming pool, sauna and steam room, followed by a couple of drinks in the very comfortable bar. The view from our room was brilliant with Windsor Castle clearly visible. We had a great night's sleep with no hotel noise at all. The breakfast had an excellent choice and was plentiful, and of an excellent quality. I would not hesitate to use this hotel again.
Stayed 2 nights here as part of our Legoland weekend and would highly recommend! Staff very friendly and efficient, facilities all clean and accessible - we had a lovely swim. Gym and beauty rooms looked great and we would have certainly used if we had more time. The food is really really good. All you can eat buffet for evening meal for £17.50 with kids eating free - perfect. Great choice and quality food too! Nice rooms and bathrooms - the only downside was how hot the rooms were. We requested a fan as despite having the room temperature on the lowest setting and the window open it was still really warm, fan didn't do much to help but hotel sent one up as soon as we asked, staff really were very helpful. Would certainly recommend and stay here again! Less than a 10 minute drive to Legoland!
I thought I was getting a good deal 80£ a night once i arrived I found the hotel to be old out of fashion charged me 20£ for car park and breakfast On top rooms are presumably from the late 90 all showers are build for people less then 175 cm or 5' feet . did a quick search online and found the Hilton incl parking , breakfast was 92£ so next I will stay at the Hilton Pool is noisy in the day time shut down at 21 , gym needs an upgrade Only positive thing I can say is the hottub is great steam room and sauna as expected But this was my last visit here ., But admit the staff are helpful and very service oriented..
Been there for one night with my wife as it was her birthday and we were going to LegoLand Even though it was just for one night it didn't disappoint me very polite staff and they left a banner and i birthday cake in the room for my wife will book again in the future as i loved the city of windsor as well good for a short break
The receptionist at check in looked like she would rather have been elsewhere, to then inform us that our room wasn't ready. No smile nothing. After waiting an hour after check in time we got to our room.... being heavily pregnant at the time I headed straight to the bed pillows were amazing but the head board had what looked like a foundation handprint smeared all over it the bathroom wasn't the cleanest either. The breakfast which we paid and extra £17.50 each for was a buffet style full cooked English and continental with a selection of cereals, hot drinks and juices. We walked into the breakfast room to be Not greeted the member of staff just standing in the door way we assumed that we just go find our selves a table. There were plenty of tables but they were all dirty and still full of dirty plates and cutlery. We asked another member of staff if the could clean and clear a table for us he said yes give me a minute and disappeared, I just cleared the plates into another dirty table and wiped over it with a napkin. There were no cups or mugs at the self serve coffee/tea station and half the items on their breakfast menu wasn't there. I could understand if this restaurant was understaffed but there were plenty of staff they were all wondering around looking gormless my partner and I had a good laugh as we watched them purposely avoid cleaning tables and hiding from the customers. Very badly managed. On checking out the receptionist tried to tell us we hadn't paid I could moan on about this hotel forever. If I wasn't incredibly happy about getting engaged over the weekend stay I would have complained and definitely asked for a refund of the extra breakfast money which totalled to £35.00, we expected much better service for that price.
We stayed here for 1 night for a Legoland deal. I was a bit nervous as some of the reviews on here weren't great. I needn't have worried. The staff were great. The kids check in is really nice, our boys loved it. Our room had 2 double beds and a travel cot (for a 3 year old, a 5 yr old and a baby) and we had plenty of space. All very clean and comfortable. Yes the rooms are hot but as the management have said, aircon js being installed. We'd taken fans and it was perfectly ok. Wifi was free and so was parking. The best bit was the food. We looked at the buffet but decided to go for the Malaysian restaurant as I can't eat dairy and most of the buffet had dairy (very good allergen advice!). The food was incredible and so was the service. They were great with the kids and just treated us really well. The buffet breakfast was great. The kids had the full English, then Cereal, then pastries, then fresh fruit! There was loads and it was really nice and, again, great service. Definitely recommend.
We had a family room but it felt quite small. There wasn't much room to move around. We stayed here for a weekend in LEGOLAND. On the plus side, it is a short 5-10 minute drive from LEGOLAND. The hotel is otherwise quiet kid friendly and has a swimming pool.
