Such a great day trip from Marrakech or Casablanca There are natural pools to swim in, and you can also walk to the bottom of the cascades for a boat ride. I didn’t go for a swim because no other female was swimming, despite assurances from the locals that it was ok. It felt disrespectful so I chose to stay on dry land. Loads of restaurants around the cascades, try the chicken kebabs just next to the bridge! Best kebabs I’ve ever had!
Stayed here during a Moroccan road trip. The pool was nice and seemed clean, and as an American in Morocco the bar was welcome amenity. It’s in a quiete location, and I was able to see the stars from the balcony in my room. The bathroom felt less clean than I would have preferred, but the sheets and floors were fine. Very few English speakers on staff if that matters to you, but I was able to communicate fine enough. The wifi worked, but just barely.
I usually don't like to write a negative review, but this time I will. I always wanted to visit Beni mellal we spent a great time there we booked in this hotel for three days me, my wife, and our two young kids. The service in the hotel was good, my kids spent most of their time in the swimming pool. They went to bed late night, as we layed our heads on our pillows we felt some bites on our skins, I switched on the lights, and I could not believe my eyes alot of bugs running through our beds and pillows, I picked up our stuff and ran to the reception, my kids slept there, my wife slept in the car, as the time was around 2 a.m. And too difficult to find another hotel. Me my self I couldn't sleep. Early morning I picked my family and ran away from the hotel, an awful experience I don't wish it to any body.
Stayed here on the way from Marrakesh. Rooms were fine with an interesting views. However we made the mistake of staying here for dinner. Don't eat here. Although the restaurant only had about 5 people in it, it took the vegetarian in our group best part of 2 hours to get served and all they got was a plate of limp vegetables. The meat ball tagine was just sad. Use the hotel. Avoid the restaurant
This hotel is set out like a motel, so you can park your car near your room. The whole hotel could do with an update. Our room had the old type crt tv but the picture was ok, just small. The furniture was falling apart but the air con worked fine. But on the positive side the view for the balcony was great. Did not get a chance to try Breakfast because they tried to charge us double the amount for the room and telling us money we had already paid via booking.com was just a fee, though our email said that we had paid in full. We then had to wait for the manager to be called and sort everything out. Funnily enough we were right, which all took 45 mins to resolve, the hotel needs to get this sort of basic admin sorted.
On our way to Marrakesh, we decided to spend the night in this big rural city. We checked trip advisor and hotel com for reviews , and considering that we were going to spend just 1 night , we chose the hotel ouzoud. We prepaid the hotel and it was a mistake, because you cannot rely on the hotel own description of their establishment, nor the reviews ,most of them fake! At the reception, there was a guy that looked very bored, no smile not a sign of welcome. They tell you that internet is available, but you find out later that it doesn't reach the rooms. Also, it looks like the reception is the smoking area of the hotel. Rooms are ok and clean, but a TV from the dark ages. The big disaster is the restaurant. There is great outdoor area with tables and chairs, but it's only for the locals who come to enjoy and re-enjoy the great red wines of the region. Some parties after drinking a little bit too much , decided to come to the restaurant. They were so loud and vulgar, that we decided to take our food to our rooms. No responsable from the hotel came to talk to them , and the manager was already gone for the day. I hope that tomorrow morning during breakfast ,these drunk people are gone.
Took this hotel on our way road trip to Marrakech. Booked by phone in the evening. The reason we picked this hotel because they said it's a four stars hotel. Since we took a road trip with my parents in law and my preK daughter, and we did a long journey from Fes on that day, we thought a nice hotel would be better before we're hitting Marrakech the next day. We arrived almost midnight. Very dissatisfied when we entered the room. The furnitures looked rusty and old. Old bathroom, stained bath curtain, old style TV and if I may add there's only 1 channel available in the TV. Even worse in my parents in law's room. The quality of the image on the TV was awful, the heater took times for increasing the temperature. They put the sign "4 stars hotel" in the back of the room's door. But it said they received the status on 2006 or 2007. It means it's like 10 years ago. And seems they never make the renewal or improvement. They charged us 650 dirhams per night per room. The receptionist said it's a discount price because they usually charge 850 dirhams. I think it's very overpriced for what you get.
I've stayed here before and I must say this very overpriced hotel is going downhill fast. It's a shame because it could be a fine hotel. It has spacious grounds, a promising pool area, and great views from the rooms. But it's showing years of neglect. My room was, in a word, shabby. Furniture was scratched and dented, walls had scuffmarks and handprints, the carpet was dirty, the TV was an ancient box that showed only blurred, crackly local channels. The bathroom was ill equipped, with a tiny bar of soap and a small threadbare towel. The restaurant was poor, with insipid, carelessly prepared food for dinner. Front desk staff were helpful but that's the only good thing I can say about this place. Try somewhere else.
We arrived very late at night to this hotel, and we were not able to change the room otherwise, we would shave run anywhere else. The room was not clean, the bathroom was dirty: urine smell and body hair on the floor. The sheets had stains on it. very poor place. The breakfast was similar to the rooms: dirty! Coffee was undrinkable and very poor uneatable food. The wifi in the room was great ! The hotel was reserved by our travel agent in israel. I will never recommend this place. and will never go back of course. Avoid !!!! The photos do not reflect the realty of this place.
The staff were very helpful and the location is good, but the hotel is overpriced and in need of some serious attention to detail--both the dining room and hotel. We had no hot water in any of our rooms (we had three) one day, and just barely warm the next. The rooms are quite shabby and have not been cleaned (very dirty bathrooms, etc). This is not unexpected for the area, but we thought for $50 US per room per night, we'd have a better experience. The dining room is especially overpriced--and by all means, do not include breakfast--we couldn't drink the coffee--and we travel widely, and can nearly always make do--but this was likely the worst I've ever had. Also, wifi barely worked. Nice folks, but a hotel I'd avoid if at all possible.
