Was in Bend for my niece's high school graduation. Mt. Bachelor Village Resort was a great, centrally located place for my wife, daughter (cousin) and I. Awesome view and comfortable accommodations. Hot tub on deck very nice. Hiking trails around area and by the river a nice short adventure.
Nice room, awesome view, great accommodations. Convenient location with very comfortable beds. The hot tub worked great and it was nice that the other room had it's own front door. The appliances were top notch and I would stay there again.
Walking distance to the Old Mill Dist, mostly on nice trails. Nice pool and hot tub. Quiet and convenient to downtown and 3rd. The rooms are spacious and the furnishings are comfortable with the exception of sleeping on the hide-a-bed, couch ok.
Spent a week here with my family attending a conference. The property offers a variety of room types and is a mix of owned or jointly-owned condos and daily/weekly rentals. We (party of 4) stayed in a first floor 1-br ski lodge suite, with full kitchen, pull out sleeper sofa, single bath and queen bedroom. A gas fireplace, private deck, compact clothes washer/dryer, dishwasher, electric stove/oven, electric baseboard heat (in addition to the fireplace) completed the amenities The resort was not at all busy in mid-April. Mostly quiet (two exceptions - see below) and within an easy drive of shops and restaurants. Little within walking distance other than the resort amenities (pool, spa, game room, play ground, trails, etc). Because we stayed at the very end of the ski season, there was renovation work in progress - with work noises ongoing after about 8 AM most weekdays. The adjacent unit was apparently not a rental, as the occupants had a small, yappy dog - and were not particularly conscientious in cleaning up after it - a deadly combination when energetic, not-particularly-attentive-to-what-they're-stepping-in eight and ten year olds are involved. Conference facilities are small but comfortable, and well-equipped. Front office staff is very helpful, responsive, and eager to provide the best possible guest experience. We would definitely recommend the Mount Bachelor Resort for future professional conferences and as a vacation destination, and intend to stay here on future visits to the Bend area.
If you've been following me you know I try to incorporate my fussy friend Stubbs' opinions into my reviews. Stubbs organized this work conference so what can I say? Everything was perfect. It's hard to sort out whether it was Stubbs' touch or the resort, but I think a bit of both. There's no going wrong with this location. An easy 3 mile river hike feels so good after sitting in an all day conference - it's a short walk from the resort. The conference rooms were comfortable and the meals were very good. This is a great place for a conference. Bend has so many hikes, good Oregon breweries and restaurants to check out in the evening. Just hanging at the resort works too - a lot of the rooms have overviews and patio hot tubs...ahhh heaven.
I stayed 4 nights in one of the one bedroom suites overlooking the Deschutes River while attending a business conference. The unit was very clean, comfortable and quiet...the three most important qualities for me! The cost was very reasonable for such a nice facility, I would love to stay here again!
It took 7 roundabouts before my google maps got me to the location. After checking in, I went for a walk in the surrounding trees. The cool spring air smelled of nature. It was quite and peaceful. A great place to relax alone or with loved ones. I recommend this resort anyone who needs a quick get away. It was reasonably priced. I was there for business and enjoyed presenting at there updated conference rooms. Every thing was in order. I may try and get my wife to join me on a trip to Bend later this year. Thanks
Loved staying along the Deschutes, just outside of beautiful Bend, Oregon. We were just a short walk away from the Old Mill District, with shops, food, and brews. This property is perfect, with its three bedrooms that each have a master bath. We loved the hot tub deck and loved opening the windows each night to the sound of the river. We were nestled high in the pines, just minutes away from the city. Perfect!
Our condo was spacious, with fantastic views from every window. The deck had a hot tub and grill. We were close to shopping, restaurants, brew pubs and a great hiking trail. The small general store had a very limited supply of beer or wine, bring your own.
Great place excellent location friendly staff, will definitely stay there again, possibly next week, very clean, Great layout, the river walk is literally right out your door, in a residential layout with very nice landscaping
