I went to Belize with two other women. We spent 3 nights in San Pedro. I loved the experience. I loved the hustle and bustle of taxi cabs and golf carts taking people into and back from downtown. The people of Belize are so nice!! They seem quite genuinely to care that you enjoy your vacation and excursions in Belize. I loved the snorkeling activities. I loved eating lionfish!! I definitely want to go back.

Great stay Great view Great Staff! Tell the Chef Garfield Hi from Tracey!!!

Nice staff and clean. Location of room was perfect.

The hotel allowed us to check in early due to our overnight flight, completely on heard of in US. The property is kept spotless. All the staff members where very pleasant. I read several reviews before booking this property, and after my visit I know I made the best choice on the island. Excellent location and value. And you have two dive shops to choose from , we picked the one just north of the hotel, they rocked.

The hotel was in the perfect spot right down to our room location. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. This was by far the best hotel/resort to stay in along that side of the beach. the only complaint is the wireless internet in the room. There was little or no signal! But once you left the room signal was great on the property! I normally disconnect when I'm on vacation but I didn't have kids and needed to be connected. Other than that, the place is perfect!

We booked this 1 week before, so glad I read all the reviews, some of the resorts are so far from town, this was a quick 5 minute cab/golfcart ride. The suites are awesome full kitchen 2B/2B wonderful A/C, clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Everyone is right, the internet is sketchy at best. The Belize Pro Dive Shop is onsite, all the guys are super nice and helpful we booked 3 tours with them and they were all small with personalized service. The restaurant is average and pricy, better to go town and eat! No one mentions you can't really swim at the beach though because the whole island is covered in sea grass washed up to the shore.

This condo complex is in a prime location on the Caye with a decent stretch of beach. My complaint would be that the front desk is not helpful or informative, and the condos we stayed in needed renovated ten years ago. (We asked to be moved out of the first because it was in ill repair. The second condo was better, but still much wear and tear.) The place could honestly be spectacular with some detail and better trained staff. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, the desk seemed disinterested.

For those who are not familiar with Ambregris Caye, you should know that this is a bit of a remote location. Once you land in BZE, there are two ways of getting to Ambregris Caye: boat or small plane. I have tried both, and small plane is the way to go (book with Tropic Air). Once in San Pedro, you will need to take a taxi to the Villas at Banyan (the hotel will pay for this). The hotel is located south of San Pedro and it is a short ride away from the local airport. The hotel staff is super friendly and accommodating. The units are privately owned, so there is variation in terms of interior decoration and furniture. Our 2 bedroom unit was terrific and all five of us fit in it! The beach area is fantastic and the grounds are well kept. The pool area is OK - not terrific. We were here during spring break and space around the pool was limited at times. The onsite restaurant Rico's is mediocre and expensive. Instead we really enjoyed Antojito's restaurant (located close to the hotel), which offered a far better value. The hotel offers golf cars for rent and bikes to use. I wish the hotel had an on-site Laundromat for guests to use. They offer laundry service by the item, which does not cut it when travelling with children. Overall. this is a terrific place to stay at!

Great location, clean, with special features added by the owner. Nicely decorated and very clean. H4 was special. Staff was friendly, helpful and always available. Snorkeling at reef was wonderful but not so good from the beach -- too cloudy. Good food.

Just like home, but with all the perks of a hotel. Loved how spacious the rooms were- from the living room to the bedrooms!!! Also loved how the restaurant was on site, and the ability to plan tours was right there as well!!!

This is a beautiful property, one of the prettiest on San Pedro. They had bikes to loan at no charge to ride into town (2km). A continental breakfast, toasted bagel, fruit, and drink was included which was very convenient. Very friendly staff. Each condo has a safe. Our TV went bust and they replaced it quickly. Small bakdery and great food close by. We had a great experience here and would go again.

friendly staff, very clean facility, good restaurant on site. enjoyed the eel show

We found the service at the hotel to be excellent. The rooms were spacious and in very good conditions. The grounds were beautiful and well kepted. They also have a dive/snorkel shop so you can set up all of your tours and leave from your own resort. The villas at banyan bay exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

I stayed here 10 years ago and was thrilled to see that the only changes were amazing ones! An on-site restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner...a new pier, and a new lobby. This place is total peace and quiet...Not for the couple looking for a loud party/drinking crowd! It's a moderate walk on the beach to town and a $5 taxi ride...The hotel staff works very hard to keep it clean! The pool is great for relaxing...very shallow and good for little kids. I can't wait to go back and take my 3 year old.
