Tulip Inn Putnik Belgrade

Very nice location, no traffic around the hotel, and everything you need is just a 3-5 minute walk from it. Center of the city is about 10 minute drive away. Nice service and interior look of the hotel.

Stayed for 2 nights after recommendation from my customer and was impressed with the hotel. Clean, comfortable if small room with a view of the busy front street. Close to the river so short walk or in my case run and you are on the banks of the mighty Danube. Some very interesting looking floating restaurants and bars which would well be worth a visit with more time available. The hotel had excellent leisure facilities such as a sizeable swimming pool and an excellent gym with cushion floor throughout. I will be returning even if I will be sitting as far away as possible from chain-smoking residents at breakfast. Disgusting.

Tulip in is very nice hotel. It has everything a business user needs. Rooms a clean, all equipment is in order and the breakfast is super. Customores of the hotel can also visit SPA in the hotel. All services in the hotel are superb.

Stayed in the hotel during business trip for 6 days in March 2017. On first glance, it was average looking business hotel, but quite soon you realize that every thing is kept in top shape and you get some extras that you don't usually see in this type of hotel. The room is a bit smallish, but probably it's the only thing I could complain. The room and the bathroom are very clean, the window sound isolation was excellent (my room was overlooking a street and couldn't hear a sound from the street), the shower size was quite big (yes, it was a shower but you could easily turn around without sticking your derriere on the tiles...). There was free wi-fi with decent quality in the room. Kudos go to the staff as well, since they were very pleasant and helpful at any time. The hotel has pool and sauna that I didn't really use since it was quite crowded at the end of the working hours. I got the impression that it is open for people outside of the hotel. So, if you plan on using the pool and sauna I suggest getting there somewhat earlier. However, the thing that really set the hotel apart (according to my criteria of course) is the breakfast. I take the breakfast thing very seriously and the breakfast was almost perfect. Beside the standard egg/butter/cheese/pepperoni things, they serve several different white and yellow cheeses, deli meat, different kinds of breads, croissants, fresh and canned vegetables, fruit, lots of nuts, sweet things... there were even "cvarki" (who knows, knows... if you are not from the Balkans just google it :) ). And if you really have other ideas or needs, I think that you could arrange your breakfast in advance according to your needs. The location of the hotel is very nice because you can easily transfer to other parts of the city, and you could also take a walk by the river or visit some of the shops near by (nothing special but very handy in case you need to buy something in a hurry). The hotel has a parking lot however it takes a bit of luck in order to find a free parking spot. Having in mind that the price is quite average, I'd really recommend the hotel for the business traveler because you get real value for your money.

Clean and affordable hotel with everything to satisfy your needs for a comfortable stay. The rooms were very clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. There is a supermarket across the street for convenience.

We stayed here for 7 nights to visit the European athletics championships, this hotel is only a 20 minute walk from Kombank arena, 5 mins walk from Danube and a 50 min walk to old Belgrade. If you don't wish to walk (weather was fantastic so we took advantage of walking) there is a bus stop 50 meters away, 17 to Kombank arena, 16 to old Belgrade both run every 5 mins so it's perfect. The hotel it's self is modern and the staff are brilliant. On our first night my bed was very noisy and squeaked every time I moved, i informed the staff and the mattress was replaced straight away. The room itself was fairly small but had most things we needed (apart from a kettle which we bought from the supermarket across the road) bathroom was good although my personal preference is a bath which there wasn't one but the shower was fine. Plenty of storage space and full mirrors on the wardrobes. We were overlooking the main road which you could not hear when the window was closed so that was perfect. We didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on that. We attempted to use the pool 3 times without success, first time we had no towels so we weren't allowed to enter, 2nd time was Sunday morning only to find the pool is only accessible from 5pm on a Sunday, Monday no staff to be found so we gave up and went for a walk instead. I would gladly stay here again but would go for the suite which I had requested but as the hotel was full it wasn't possible.

Friendly staff, nice breakfast, clean rooms, simple to find and well conected. Very affordable. Also, lots of shops in area open almoust non stop where you can buy whatever you need at the moment or maybe forgot to bring.

If you can afford to pay a little bit more (especially if air conditioning is needed), book a suite on the 7th floor. The regular rooms are (too) small and (when I was there), the airconditioning was not working properly. For a small sum more, you book the suite, where there is a lot of space and all is well.

Tulip Inn Belgrade is a cheap and friendly hotel. The rooms are time-worn and small but clean. Bathroom is also clean. TV-set small and without International channels. Breakfast typical serbian; non-smoking policy hasn't arrived.

Spacious room, friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Close to the Danube river. Good value for the money ratio. On the less positive side. Parking is lacking of space. A strange and annoying noise in the room (couldn't identify the source) coming somewhere from the ceiling (air condition, heating?). I am sure that if I would raise this issue it will be fixed. But unfortunately I have no time to deal with this.
