The apartment was nice, especially for the price. Not the greatest water pressure, but had facilities to do laundry and cook if you desired. Wifi was great, but bed wasn't the most comfortable (although we were tired enough that we slept like babies regardless, lol). Great location with plenty of food options within walking distance. About a 10 minute walk to the train station (to get to and from airport!) Only complaint was that it was extremely hard to find. Luckily our driver found the correct location, but unfortunately we struggled to get inside. You needed a card to get into the complex. We could not communicate to them that we had reservations as we didn't speak the language. (Note, it is an apartment building that people must own multiple apartments and rent them out. So not a normal hotel, which is why they were confused at the gate. Even their office is in an apartment inside (Building 25B, Unit 2, floor 3, room 301) which was harder to navigate.) Once we got inside, it was smooth sailing from there! I would recommend getting an email address or phone number for them so it is easier to let them know when you arrive so they can come let you in the gates.
The place was booked via AGODA. We've arrived at the address listed in AGODA at 03:00AM only to find out that the location is wrong. Apparently it used to be the front office, which is no longer there. The phone number listed was not answering. Considering that no one is on the street at 3AM, no host available, its' a really awful situation specifically after 10 hrs flight. After 2 hrs roaming nearby streets, we finally found the apartment complex. After another 1 hour of begging gestures exchange with elderly woman guarding the gates, she understood and agreed to call the mobile number again. Surprisingly it was answered. 20 minutes later sleepy guy with English communication skills limited to 20 words met us at the gates. It took another hour to check in into the filthy, run down rooms with mouldy bathrooms. The whole building arrangement with appartments lined along the soiled corridor feels like the prison cell. The appartments are tucked away about 300 metres away in a laneway behind Holiday Inn Express. The location is not to bad, if you are willing to walk 300 metres to get a taxi. Plenty of local restaurants. Not far from the markets and attractions. We were trying to stay in the city as much as we could only to stay away from the place. Rooms listed as non-smoking, however, butt burnt marks are everywhere on the furniture along with the cigarettes smell. The beds are as hard as rock, all tableware is greasy, furniture feels like being picked up at the garbage disposal pit. Yuck!!!!My advice is to stay away from this place, or it will make you feel almost suicidal.
Even though the building is only a few years old it is already in bad conditions. Extreme expensive overrated apartments with lots of broken furniture and equipment. Cleaning and maintenance are very poor. Nobody seems to feel responsible for guest requests.
I loved the room, in which enjoyed scenic sun and beautiful moon night,It is romatic. The included continental breakfast was great. The kitchen and full size fridge were convenient.Even comfortable than 5 star hotel.
Staff very kind and available. Perfect location close to restaurant, subway, shopping, supermarket. Very close to the frenetic night life, but in a very quiet park clean and safe. Only weak point is the gym. Not very equipped and a bit neglected. In the rooms you can Find everything you need. The most economical solution of hotel but with the same services and cleaning. Save the money and enjoy life in Beijing. If the Price would be a little bit cheapest would be the best in all Beijing.
Located in the central of Beijing city, which makes your journey to anywhere in Beijing is very convenient and efficient. Besides, the apartment is in a peace and quiet place in noisy surrounding, which gives you a chance to escape from the hustle and bustle after a whole day's work or business. Facilities are good. There are supermarket supplying international foods, dry cleaner, gym, tennis court etc. You don't need to worry about your daily life even though you are not a local person. Housekeeper service is very thoughtful. You can go to them with any questions. Staying withe them makes you feel at home. Last thing, the rate with such service is quite reasonable:).
I'm already staying here for a couple of months, i booked the room for only a week with Rich&Young at the first, but i fell in love with this apartment soon. It is quite quiet here while the location is really good. The apartment is only 10 minutes' walking distance to the Subway station and the Airport Express. Most of the scenery spots of the city are easy to get to. I love the small garden of this community very much, usually i will take a walk in the garden after my dinner, talking with my neighbor. I make food in my apartment, wash clothes by myself, it is not a hotel to me, but my own home.
Very convenient apartment near Dongzhimen Airport Express/Underground interchange. Good shops and restaurants within comfortable 5-10 minutes' walk. Would like to express thanks to very helpful front desk manager, Fiona who speaks excellent English. Apartment cleaned regularly, modern kitchen. Could do with a few more pots and pans & cutlery but had induction hobs, microwave and fridge. Finding our way around was helped by our being Mandarin speakers, but after a couple of days language would be less of an issue once familiar with the neighbourhood. Front desk is not in the building but nearby.
The hotel is relatively new, located like 10 min walk from train station. The area is nice and quiet, but not much food or shops in the proximity of the apartment. The only problem is the rooms are not well cleaned in general, but this is quite common in China.
As the apartment itself, it was okay. It had a nice kitchen, and the design of the apartment was wonderful. However it was very evident that there were no maintenance work done. Moldy walls, questionable stains on the bed, toothpaste marks from previous guests etc, are all things that can be easily fixed and cared for. Was not satisfied with the cleanliness. Since it is an apartment, there is no reception. You have to call (they will charge you) them if you need anything, and most of the time they are not there. You have to call them to come to the apartment. This being the first hotel of our trip, it was difficult to get around. I would have appreciated some kind of tips, maps, or some kind of advice upon arrival. Pros: -Microwave, kitchen, laundry machine..worth it if in Beijing for a long term stay. -Spacious -Location okay -Modern apartment Cons: -Cleanliness -No reception -we stayed on 11th floor, our friends on 15th. Not convenient. All in all it was an average stay. Would recommend this apartment for seasoned China traveller that knows their way around Beijing. Would consider staying again if they took better care of the apartment.
