Good items: 1-Pool and chairs + tables there 2-Breakfast Item need urgent attention: 1-quality of beds. Somehow bed in China are made of wood only and possibly they do not use mattresses. 2-No speaking English policy need to change as we did not find any one that can speak English except our tour guide. 3-Food quality is near uneatable in the main restaurants and still can not understand why do they all close at 20:00
This hotel offers the minimum requirements of a comfortable stay. Lobby, rooms, outside design ia alright, nothing too fancy, just what you need. The lobby restaurant/bar has enough choices. The bedroom has an outdated design somehow, i couldn't put my finger on it, maybe it's the tiny TV or the excessive use of mirrors or something. Bed is comfortable, toilet offers all the amenities you need. The bottom line is: If all you are looking for is a comfortable bed and a good location, this is your place. However, if you are looking for something fancy, look somewhere else.
This was the second hotel we were booked in on our tour. After a lovely hotel in Shanghai this was a disappointment. The room is tired and could do with refurbishment. We had a bath but when we let the water out all the water bubbled up through the drain on the bathroom floor. The conceirge sent someone up to clear the floor as it was full of water. We just didn’t use the bath again and used the shower. Not really satisfactory. Location of hotel is on a busy road, round the corner from an exhibition centre. There are some shops nearby but it isn’t a place that we felt comfortable wAlking at night. Very busy.
Just not good ! Rooms are old and cold! Air condition just can not warm the room! Carpet are old and have some disturbing odor! Corridor smells like cigarettes! Cleaners were banging during room preparations, they don’t care if you sleep! Overall not good!
Me and my husband stayed here while I visited my sister in Beijing. When we arrived at our booked room we were disappointed. The room smelt awful, the decor was old and dirty, the bathroom was falling to pieces. Although it’s no staff members fault we complained about the room and one of the managers showed us round a few more ‘deluxe rooms’ we chose one which was a lot better than the first, although I would class the deluxe as standard. The manager also gave us free breakfast for the week which was lovely of him and it was a good breakfast too (although for my sister to join us it was 180 yuan, it wasn’t worth that much) If you’re only staying a few nights you might get away with a standard, but any longer go for the deluxe or business.
It's unbelievable that hotel concierge staff received my personal packages and all of them are missing, they gave the most ridiculous reason which they informed "someone" in my company, it's my personal legal packages! tOtally irresponsible, can't provide any prove that they contacted me before! Hotel carpet looks 100 years old, smells mold, air condition in the room it's like it has never been cleaned before, smells mold, smoke, some room smells heavy chemical paint, huge headache when I woke up in the morning, I never ever want to go back there again!
Staying in Radisson is usually a good experience, this time it was no different than last time I stayed for a 10 years ago. Just 15 min from down CBD area and close to 3rd highway exit. Clean room, breakfast was “saved “ by a expresso coffee machine. And price was not so expensive
I was put in a third floor room on arrival and it was not good. I found myself in a very dated and damp smelling room...think 80's Vegas.. I informed reception i'd need a new room as mine wasn't up to scratch. I was swiftly taken to the tenth floor to a superior room and it was more to the standard i expect from this chain. Huge bed, gucci bathroom and a nice view too. The location was good, the staff were great and the nice rooms are...nice.
Been to Radisson blu for a day trip, the location is fine, you can easly find supermarkets, restaurants and transportations around. The hotel rooms is ok, it has all the basic stuff but don't expect too much, my kettle electricity socket wasn't working and the bathtub sewer was full of rust. Regarding the food it was good compared to other chinese places, i mean u can eat it with a peace of mind at least. For the services and the staff, well the staff are very friendly and trying their best but language barrier is a big issue in here and i would expect better english spoken in an international hotel. One last thing that really made my stay horrible the fact that i was denied going to the gym after 8 pm cause they close the whole health club by that time not allowing guests to use the facility even on their own risk!!! In general if you are looking for an average place with a good price in Beijing Radisson Blu is not a bad option if you don't expect too much.
This hotel was one of the typical traditional Chinese style hotel in 1990s. So it was a little bit old. I will say it was a decent hotel but everything looked old ( such as Holiday Inn in the USA). For airport transportation, it was one of a great choices, since this is next to the international exhibition center and there is a paid airport shuttle directly from/to the PEK airport.
