Several weeks ago i was in Beijing. Unfortunately my flight to Harbin was canceled and i had to stay for a day in Beijing. Thank you Radisson because only here i was able to book 4 single rooms for me and my colleagues! I suggest this hotel, best price/quality ratio.
Stayed here earlier this month and first impressions were very good the reception area was attractive, sadly when u went up to the 10th floor it was a truelly different, the wall paper in the corridor was ripped and peeling, carpets were tatty and stained. Our room was very dated the beds werent overly comfortable and the bath was so old it looked consistently dirty so we would only shower in it, really needs updating. Breakfast was good as was the selection
Our room was very large, well appointed, 2 free bottles of water every day. We stayed four nights, the staff was friendly and helpful. We ate the American breakfast buffet each day. There was plenty of variety, including eggs, bacon, pancakes, lots of fruit, bread and coffee and/or tea.
Visited Beijing over the weekend and chose this hotel because of its location and price-quality relation. The hotel is not very far away from the metro station, which makes downtown easily accessible, but also its great to start a day trip to the Great Wall. Staff at front office and concierge is very polite and speak very good English, we were upgraded to the top floor in a gorgeous Business Class room (totally recommended!) and had access to the lounge, where you get breakfast and snacks, but also great variety of drinks in the evening for the happy hour:)) Will definitely visit again!
Stayed here whilst visiting Beijing. Room decor was tired, obviously there had been a double bed in the room, which now contained 2 single beds. This left the carpet showing different colours. There was mold around the bath and the whole room looked run down. In contrast the food in the dining room was very good. Lots of choice and well presented. If the decor in the public rooms matched the decor in the bedrooms this would be a great hotel.
Stayed in a non smoking room however once walking out of the lift onto the floor the smell of smoke was so strong. Carpet in room is very dirty and stained from prior use. Air con doesn't get cool, even when set to 17 degrees. 3 mosquitos were flying around the room when I arrived. When ordering room service operator struggled to understand English, took me about 7 attempts to order Singapore noodles. They do have lots of English speaking staff in the reception who speak perfect English so don't really understand why they don't have one answering the phones. Once delivered to room I was missing 1 dish ordered however wasn't charged for missing dish. Breakfast average - food tastes very bland
Have just returned from an incredible trip to China. Despite all the great sights like the Great Wall, Terracotta Warriors, Forbidden City and those adorable pandas, it is essential to mention that all the highlights were particularly enjoyed due to the respite, relaxation and comfort afforded by the Radisson Blu in Beijing. A fabulous hotel with a sumptuous breakfast and high quality facilities. Absolutely recommend.
I had the pleasure of visiting Beijing for the very first time on 16.05.17. This is the place where the Olympics were held in 2008 and of course the opportunity of visiting The Great Wall of China! The hotel is situated in a fairly central place and the is a Carrefour supermarket within a 5-10 minute walk of the hotel which is reasonably priced. The rooms are small but had everything I needed. Free WiFi, however, the quality wasn't great, it kept losing signal & dropping out far too frequently which was frustrating. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming and although not all staff spoke English fluently it is possible to make yourself understood. For example when having drinks at the bar, you're greeted by the staff and presented with an iPad with all the drinks they supply. It was the same when dined in house at the restaurant. It was brilliant and the staff really looked after us. If you wish to visit the Great Wall of China, this can be arranged with the Concierge and is a 2 hour drive in rush hour traffic. We enjoyed our stay despite the WiFi and would recommend it. Some of my friends used a VPN which improved the WiFi connectivity. I couldn't get it to work on my Android phone so was unable to connect to Facebook but was able to use WhatsApp.
Staff very helpful and friendly Great girl on bar speaks good english better than me room very nice all you need plenty of hot water As most of China food could be hotter Hotel has swimming pool and Gym
Excellent comfort, clean n spacious, good breakfast, the decor of the hotel was good, help desk was cordial. The Forex Exchange n help desk was a big blessing, all our needs were met, ofcourse our tour guide was excellanat too.
